Arnav's POV:
As soon as I opened the door to our room I saw her peacefully sleeping. This is what gives me energy, even after all the tiresome work, when I see her all my worries disappear. I took a shower without making much noise and got back to bed.
She sensed that I was near but never opened her eyes. I just moved near her and gave a kiss on her forehead. She unconsciously reached for my hand and placed it on her belly under her Tshirt. She does this whenever she feels cold or when she is in pain. I couldn't figure out why she did that but I slowly caressed her belly and soon she hugged me tightly and buried her head in my chest.

Kushi was sleeping peacefully in the morning when rays of sunlight hit her. She opened her eyes to look when a familiar palm masked the sunlight. In an instance she knew who it was. She just closed her eyes and turned to hug her husband who was lying beside her.
K: When did you come?
A: Around 5 in the morning
K: I slept without even knowing that
A: I found it bizarre that you didn't wake up. You were sleeping like a log. Are you okay?
K: I'm OK, I was just tired
A: Its already 8 o clock, wake up baby
K: Can I sleep more?
A: day by day you are behaving like a baby
As soon as he mentioned baby, kushi was swept back into the dilemma. Whether to tell him or not. She was continuously thinking
K: Baby, I am confused about something
A: Tell me I will solve it for you
K: just tell yes or no
A: What would that do
K: just say yes or no!!!
A: It's morning and I want to start it positively so Yes
with that he gave her a pick on her lips. She smiled at him but still confused

Kushi's beahvior changed suddenly. I could figure out she was hiding something but couldn't figure out what she was hiding. I took a day off that day so after breakfast I stayed in my room and was scrolling through my phone. Kushi entered and was looking at me.
A: Are you admiring me ?? Yes you got a handsome husband and the world would accept it.
K: I was not looking at you? Why do you have such a thought
A: Oh I see
K: Even if I look at you, It's my property and I have all rights
A: Can't deny that too
Kushi blushing little at what she said and went near her hubby to pinch his cheeks since he was damn cute. Before she could pinch Arnav pulled her and made her sit on his lap. Kushi wrapped her hands around his neck for support. She was still in daze while Arnav bent his head a little to kiss her on the lips. Kushi didnt respond but she didn't resist too.
A: sweet heart
K: Mmmm
A: Do you have something in mind?
K: Why do you ask
A: just asking
K: I have something in my mind but cant tell you now.
A: When will you tell me
K: I'll think and let you know
She then gave a peck on his lips and let her head rest on Arnav's shoulders. She slowly took his hands and kept it on her belly and whispered into his ears
K: Baby, we are pregnant
Arnav froze at what he heard
A: What?
K: You are going to be a daddy and me mamma
A: ????
A: Really?
K: Yes, Yes, Yes!!!!
Kushi looked at Arnav's expression. It is something that she has never seen of Arnav. He was owerwhelmed. She could see his eyes glistening as there was tears.
Within a second he hugged her tightly like she is the most precious thing in this world. He then laid kisses on her face randomly. He couldn't control his excitement.
Seeing him Kushi teared up.
A: Baby, why are you crying?
K: Im just happy to look at you
A: Here after no work, you need not lift a finger. I'll take care of everything
K: I know
A: When did you find out ?
K: Recently
A: Come lets go to the doctor
K: I went and checked with the doctor
A: Without me???
K: I wanted to confirm
A: Why didn't you tell me sooner
K: Because I wasn't sure
A: No problem, we are going again
K: We can go at the next scheduled check up
A: Noooo, I need to check with doctor, this is our first child I am not ready to take any risk
Within few hours she was at the hospital.
Doctor: Hi Kushi, why the sudden visit, everything ok?
K: Because of my paranoid husband
She pointed at Arnav who was sitting beside her
Doc: I can understand, It's good that he came. I can brief him too
Doctor educated on him the important details which Arnav heard with utmost attention. When they left the hospital Arnav was a little nervous. He didn't know how he was going to cope with situation. He was nervous but also excited.
Back at the car Arnav made sure that Kushi has her seatbelt on.
K: Arnav I'm pregnant not sick. Dont treat me like I'm a child
A: But you have a child in there
Kushi sighed looking at him. She knew Arnav was not going to be an easy one to handle.
K: Arnav, let's not tell anyone
A: why???
K: Do you even remember that we were in the middle of something. Our planned divorce anvi and everything, what will people think if we reveal that we are pregnant
A: People will think that we did it!!!
With that he received a smack to his head
K: Be serious Arnav
A: I don't want to think about that
K: I know you are on cloud nine, that's why I was not sure to reveal the pregnancy news
A: What????
K: We have other thing to do too
A: We can take care of that too
K: If you say that I'm pregnant our plan goes south
A: I can understand that I'll take care of it
With that both started arguing but at some point Arnav realised that its not good for her so he tried to stop her but Kushi was not ready. Arnav tried to calm her down but was in vain
K: What can I do to put sense into you. Can I undo my pregnancy now!!!!!
A: Kushi!!!!!!!!
Kushi realised what she said and froze
Arnav lost his temper too but he realised that Kushi was not in her right mind and she is now regretting what she said.
K: Don't say anything just go home
Arnav drove away from the hospital. He lowered the windows to let the cool breeze enter inside which he knew would calm her down
Once they reached the home Kushi didn't say anything and went straight to her room
She was upset at herself at what she said earlier. Her emotions were not in her control which upset her even more. Too much thoughts were running in her head which was starting to give her a headache. She took her clothes to take a shower and went inside the bathroom and pushed the door to lock it but it didn't
Arnav held the door.
K: What now? I am not in a mood to take a shower with you
A: It's not that, doctor told that you may feel dizzy. What if something happens inside
For a moment Kushi let down all her thoughts. She was happy inside to see her hubby's love towards her even though she didn't show it in her face.
K: I won't
A: Who knows
K: I don't have strength to argue, please let me take a shower for now
Arnav looked at her with puppy eyes....He was actually worried and also he cannot even raise his voice and be stubborn since Kushi was already in a bad mood.
Kushi who knew him sensed how troubled he was
K: Ok, I will close it but not lock it
Kushi then went to take a shower. She knew worrying is not good for her so she decided to let go of all the bad thoughts. She started thinking at how lucky she is. Her husband is obviously worried about her who even though looking into his laptop his ears all are here. How lucky she must be to have him as her soul mate.
She realised that she was harsh to Arnav and she said too many things in anger. She wanted to lighten the mood but she did enough damage already
She turned off the shower and smirking a little she kicked a bucket in the bathroom
Arnav on the other side was looking into the pregnancy books suggested by the doctor. Half his attention was onto the sound coming from the bathroom. He knew Kushi was clumsy always.
Suddenly he heard a loud noise from the bathroom. He stormed inside within seconds to see what happened. His heart literally jumped out seeing her standing there with bewildered expression
Kushi saw Arnav storming inside and checking her frantically for injuries
A: What happended, did you fall? Are you injured? Are you in pain? what was the sound!!!
Kushi realised what she has done, she thought of playing a prank but she made it even worse. Arnav stormed inside very soon which shocked her
K: I'm okay, I didn't fall. I just stumbled and knocked the bucket
A: Are you sure, nothing happened right?
K: I'm perfectly fine
Arnav felt relieved and hugged her. He didn't even notice the fact that she was naked
Within seconds Kushi heard a voice outside
Ria: Bhabhi are you okay, I heard some noise and baiya was yelling too
Her voice was slowly nearing when Kushi realised that she was naked and also the door was open, she hid behind arnav like making his body a shield.
Arnav reached out and took the towel and wrapped her in it and carried her in bridal style
Ria was waiting outside who got worried looking at them
A: Don't panic, she is fine. I don't want her to make any accidents. I can't take it anymore
Kushi explained Ria what happened and Ria left after confirming that Kushi was ok
Kushi stood form the bed where Arnav made her sit to fetch her dress from the bathroom
A: Sit here, you are not allowed to move
Arnav's stern voice was a little daunting so she obeyed him.
He helped her dress and also helped her in drying her hair.
K: Arnav
A: what now
K: Can I say something
A: yes
K: promise me you wont get mad
A: ok baba, I wont, tell me
K: I kicked the bucket !!!!!
A: ------------
K: Dont get mad, I wanted to play a small prank but you got tense
Arnvav covered his face and sat on the bed with a loud sigh. He then looked at her without saying anything
Kushi who was already in guilt didn't know what to do.
A: You didn't get any other prank to play on me?
K: I did it in the moment, I didn't think much. Does it mean that I can play other pranks on you
Kushi sounded a little playfull which didn't go unnoticed by Arnav
He then pulled her into his embrace and kissed her. It was much needed for both of them
Later that evening Arnav realised that he might go crazy before he becomes a dad. Kushi at a normal mood is difficult to handle, now that she is even crazier he could only imagine how crazy it can get.
