Kenji POV
"Wait, its that easy?"(Kenji)
"Of course Master,"(System)
I was currently holding a guitar. Apparently the system gets bored from time to time and it likes music...the more you know.
Well it wanted someone to play him music and he had refused to listen to the music I had on my scroll. It likes live performances or something, so picky...
"I can hear you Master,"(System)
"Well too bad,"(Kenji)
"Just play a few notes and I'll grant you the skill,"(System)
"Eh sure..."(Kenji)
I had never played the guitar before, matter of fact I only ever learned the piano and that was for a...let's just say mission.
I decided to start off with the C key. The string made a sound. Oh where did I get the guitar from? Well, the system gifted it to me. It really wants me to learn.
I then played the D key and then the E key. I decided to play with the keys a little to the point where they felt natural to me. Apparently that was enough as the system decided to give me the ability.
'Ding!'
'Mission completed!'
Mission name: Play for me!
Details: The system is bored so learn to play a few keys and get used to the guitar!
Mission rewards: New ability: Guitar play.
"Neat,"(Kenji)
"Indeed master,"(System)
"So what now?"(Kenji)
"Play it,"(System)
Then, a few chords flew into my mind as I held my head.
"You could've at least given me a heads up,"(Kenji)
"Now where's the fun in that?"(System)
I then started to strum the guitar strings as the rhythm found its way into my mind and my hands did the work.
"That was nice Master,"(System)
"Glad you think so..."(Kenji)
Then from the darkness, rustling within the leaves alerted me as I immediately stood up. Give me a break man I just recovered!
"Master, sit back down, it is Revenant...It seems he has news for us,"(System)
I looked back to the woods as indeed Revenant did step out of the shadows.
"Urgent news, Y/N has been spotted."(Revenant)
What...?
"Wait what?"(Kenji)
"It seems that he has escaped my dimension when I had entered to pull you out,"(Revenant)
"Shite..."(Kenji)
this just had to happen huh?
"Well where is he now?"(Kenji)
"He is currently fighting bandits. Most notability from the Branwen tribe,"(Revenant)
"Oh come on man..."(Kenji)
"He is nearby, shall we pursue? I have my shadows tracking him at the moment,"(Revenant)
"Well, we have nothing else better to do anyways,"(Kenji)
"But guitar,"(System)
Who knew the system could act like a child.
"Uh, I'll play it for you another time alright?"(Kenji)
"Sure thing master,"(System)
With that I immediately followed Revenant as he jumped back into the forest. I followed the dark shadow deep into the dark forest.
There were many unexpected turns and corners and soon I started to hear Grimm. Then I heard fire crackling. Revenant stops atop a mountain as I too stop.
Geez...the village was burning. Dead bodies were strewn across the area as the buildings threatened to topple down.
Revenant jumps down as I take the easy way down. I slid down a nearby slope as I walked over to him.
"Pussy,"(Revenant)
"Well I'm sorry I don't have the courage to do that..."(Kenji)
Especially after that last time with the train, phew. I travelled through the burning village with Revenant following closely behind.
I squat down as I see a bandit's dead body. It was close to a few other bodies as I inspected his wounds. Sigh just as I expected.
Three stab wounds close to each other. Guess he really did escape. I looked around at the dead bodies as I noticed the dead villagers.
Many had bullet wounds or stab wounds. Bandits, just ruthless...then I noticed another body. It was a villager's. They had stab wounds on them but they were closely together.
That shithead...
"Where is he now?"(Kenji)
"In there,"(Revenant)
Revenant points towards the forest as I clench my fist. I quickly leap up and dash over towards the darkness.
"Why do they always rush in?"(Revenant)

3rd POV
"You know, you can always go in and say hi,"(Kali)
Kali approaches her daughter who was leaning against the wooden railing on their balcony.
"I don't wanna bother him..."(Blake)
Blake looks away.
"Father's never too busy for his daughter,"(Kali)
"Not all my friends would agree with you on that,"(Blake)
Kali shakes her head as she leans in and gives Blake a kiss on the cheek before handing her a tray with a tea pot and tea cups on it.
"Here,"(Kali)
She then starts to walk away.
"What? Wait where are you going?"(Blake)
"You've never been the talkative type but that boy you brought home loves to run his mouth,"(Kali)
She then gives Blake a sly smirk as she continues to make her way off.
"I'd like to hear more about the adventures of Team RWBY,"(Kali)
Then from inside, a voice rang out.
"Kali, is that you dear?"(Ghira)
Blake gets startled as she widens her eyes and her arms begin to shake, rattling the tea pot and cups.
"Uhhh..."(Blake)
Blake slides open the door as she steps inside before sliding the door shut.
"Uh, hey dad..."(Blake)
Ghira turns towards the door as he immediately puts down his pen and puts away the paper he was writing.
"Blake! Well this is...a pleasant surprise!"(Ghira)
"I..."(Blake)
"Please, come sit,"(Ghira)
Ghira dragged his chair back as he stood up and walked over to her.
Blake walks over to the table as she sits down on the couch.
"Don't worry I've got it,"(Ghira)
Ghira quickly rushed over as he sat down on the chair.
"Sit down, sit down,"(Ghira)
"I don't wanna keep you if you're-"(Blake)
"Nonsense, I've been cooped up in here all day..."(Ghira)
Ghira grabs the tea pot as he begins to pour into the two teacups.
"You still take sugar right?"(Ghira)
Ghira then puts a block of sugar into the teacup.
"Well actually-"(Blake)
"Oh! Sorry-"(Ghira)
"Nonono, it's fine,"(Blake)
"Well, here take this one,"(Ghira)
Ghira tries to hand Blake his teacup but she refuses.
"No really, it's...it's no big deal,"(Blake)
She then reaches over and snatches the cup from the table.
"You sure?"(Ghira)
"Positive,"(Blake)
"Heh, old habits I suppose,"(Ghira)
Blake then takes a sip as she widens her eyes and grimaces.
"Might want to let it cool,"(Ghira)
"R-right!"(Blake)
Ghira then looks down before looking over to her.
"So, is it, warm in Vale?"(Ghira)
"Huh?"(Blake)
"It just...seems like your outfit doesn't cover very much,"(Ghira)
Blake looks down before folding her arms over her...yea let's not do this.
"It covers plenty,"(Blake)
"I mean, a little more armour might help, don't ya think?"(Ghira)
"I'm fine, I don't need armour I can look after myself!"(Blake)
"I...sigh I know you can, I'm sorry,"(Ghira)
"Why..."(Blake)
Ghira looks up as he sees Blake had let her arms down and was now looking down with her ears drooping.
"Why would you say that...?"(Blake)
Ghira gets up as he crouches down next to her. He puts a hand over her head.
"Sweetheart what's wrong? What did I say?"(Ghira)
"How can you still love me after what I did..."(Blake)
"Blake..."(Ghira)
He gets up before sitting next to her and places a hand over her shoulder.
"Your mother and I will always love you,"(Ghira)
"You were right!"(Blake)
She clenched her fists.
"I shouted at you and yelled at you, but you were right..."(Blake)
She looks up at her father as he brings her in and hugs her.
"I called you cowards..."(Blake)
"It's ok..."(Ghira)
"I should've left the White Fang with you and mum, I should've listened to you and I'm sorry!"(Blake)
"Blake, we never held anything against you and I never feared you would fail. The only thing I feared was that you would fall down the wrong path,"(Ghira)
Ghira smiles warmly.
"And I am so proud to see you haven't,"(Ghira)
"But I did!"(Blake)
"And you pulled yourself out, you came back, there aren't many who possess that kind of strength. And there are even fewer who are willing to face their demons again. Vale, Mountain Glenn, Beacon, You confronted the White Fang time after time again, "(Ghira)
"I didn't do it alone,"(Blake)
"No you didn't, which is why I wanted to ask you, why did you leave your friends?"(Ghira)
Blake made a sniffle before a creak was heard at the door.
"I-"(Blake)
'Crash!'
The door behind them fell as they immediately turned around. Only to see Sun face first on the door panel.
"Sun?!"(Blake)
"Huh? Wah, woah! Uh, this isn't the bathroom, uh I'll just be going, please continue your family moment,"(Sun)
He made an unconvincing smile at them as they glared daggers at him.

Yang gets up from her bed as she looks at her desk. A plate of cookies as per usual. She picks one up before taking a small bite.
She looks down as she sighs deeply. She takes another bite as she looks to her window. She looks at the leaves on the trees moving due to the wind.
She takes another bite before getting out of her bed. She walks closer to the desk as she puts the bitten cookie down. She pulls open the drawer as she sees the robotic arm.
She picks up the arm with her one arm as she shakes her head.
'Maybe tomorrow...'(Yang)
Lowering the arm back into the drawer, she hesitates for a moment.
'As long as you follow your dream, I'll always be behind you,'(Kenji)
She grits her teeth as she closes the drawer. The arm was now on the desk. She scoffs as she grabs the arm and moves it near her stump.
"Why do you have to be so good..."(Yang)
She slowly attaches the arm as it makes a few clicks before it fully attaches comfortably.
"Well that went smoother than expected..."(Yang)
She grabs onto the arm as she starts to move it around.
"Pretty stable too,"(Yang)
She then gets into a stance before taking a step back. She then quickly reels in her arm before punching forward.
'Crash!'
"...Uh oh..."(Yang)
Her lamp was completely crushed as the items on her desk was now a mess. She then tried her best to make it look...somewhat presentable.
"I was never the type to do this kind of thing huh, oh well. This arm is actually really good..."(Yang)
Yang punches the air again as she starts to slowly raise the corner of her lips to form a smirk.
'Really good...'(Yang)
She then stops as she sits down on her bed and takes the bitten cookie from before. She made a frown as she sighs.

Yang walks down the stairs where Tai and Summer were on the couch talking. Tai immediately notices Yang as he gets up from the couch in shock.
"Yang..."(Tai)
"Hey dad, mum,"(Yang)
Summer turns around as she only makes a small smile at her wearing the arm.
"I knew you had it in you darling,"(Summer)
Yang smiled sheepishly as she faces her father.
"Uhm well, since my arm is "working", I was thinking that maybe you could you know..."(Yang)
Tai's lips curled up into a smirk as Summer sighed.
"Think you're up for the task?"(Tai)
Yang closes her eyes before reopening them showing her determined eyes. Summer giggles.
"They grow up so fast,"(Summer)
Summer got up from the couch as she walks over to Yang and kisses her forehead.
"I know you'll be able to take of yourself but...do be careful, you too Tai,"(Summer)
"Oh come on! I know how to take care of myself!"(Tai)
"I'm not talking about you, be careful with Yang alright?"(Summer)
She shows a sly grin as Tai deadpans. She then walks up the stairs as Tai places a hand on Yang's shoulder.
"I'm proud of ya kid, just know that,"(Tai)
Yang showed a toothy grin before a voice rang out.
"Yang Xiao Long...what did you do in your room?!"(Summer)
Yang widens her eyes as Tai grabbed onto her arm and dragged her out of the house as Summer stormed downstairs.

Kenji jumps through the forest as he leaps from tree to tree. He swings on branches as he frantically tries to find him.
He jumps onto one final branch before he uses his Kama to hook onto a tree to come to a stop. He looks around before realising that he had just been searching around aimlessly.
He calmed himself down before closing his eyes. He listened for anything, everything. Then-
'Clank!'
He heard it. The sounds of battle. He immediately rushed over. He lands on a branch before spotting his target.
He tried his best to move through the leaves quietly but stopped as soon as he saw him go on alert. He realised that noises were still being made as he looked down to find a rather noisy squirrel.
The squirrel looks up at him before leaping away. He then saw him relax a little. Kenji gritted his teeth as he whipped out his two Kama's attached to the side of his hand.
The chains forming around his arms to his elbow. He slides his leg back before leaping up and dashing towards Y/N.
They clashed as Kenji tries to attack Y/N from all sides but he immediately turns on Kenji and blocks his attacks.
"So, we meet again?"(Y/N)
"I guess so,"(Kenji)
Kenji ducks under a swipe as he kicks up at Y/N who dodges it. Y/N jumps back as he unleashes his chain. Kenji recovers before doing the same.
The claw and Kama intertwine as they both fight in a tug-of-war. Their arms strained and trembled as Kenji grits his teeth.
Y/N then unleashes his second claw as Kenji does the same. Another intertwinement was made as Kenji pulled with all his might.
Y/N was pulled forward just a little before he narrows his eyes and immediately retaliates with a pull of his own.
The pull manages to catch the white-haired boy off guard as he is pulled forward more than he would like. Y/N then pulls the left chain wrapped around his hands nearer to him.
The chains start to glow a bright orange colour as Kenji realises his doing. He tries to Teleport away but Y/N anticipated this with his right claw.
He pulls the chain closer as a hue of blue glows on the chain. Sparks then flew out as the electricity travelled up the chain almost immediately.
It reached the end far quicker than what Kenji anticipated and ended up electrocuting him. Kenji groaned out in pain as the fire reached the Kama.
It quickly manages to weaken Kenji's grip as Y/N pulls him. Y/N then directs Kenji's body towards a nearby tree as he crashes into it.
Barks of tree fly past him as Y/N pulls him again. He directs towards another tree opposite of the first tree as he then proceeds to jump up and take Kenji with him.
He spins Kenji around as he then proceeds to lift Kenji higher before slamming him down onto the ground with immense force.
Kenji lets out a blood-curdling scream as he then groans from the pain. Y/N then dashes in and lands on top of Kenji as he uses his body as a boost.
He then lands on the ground before releasing his chains again. They wrap around Kenji before he throws him into another tree.
Kenji coughed violently as he retracts the chains. Y/N then releases another claw as he tries to finish the job. The claw flashes in front of Kenji as a wormhole opens...
