Y/n's POV
Pepper and Tony broke from their kiss and everyone was still clapping and whooping. Tony hugged Rhodey and then Happy. Nat and I congratulated Pepper and went back to sit with Steve and the others.
"Avengers!" Tony beamed, coming over with arms wide.
"Congratulations Tone." Steve smiled.
"Looking good ladies." Tony turned to Nat and I, giving us both greeting kisses on the cheek.
"No need to be so formal, Stark. We saw you yesterday." Nat laughed. Tony shrugged and turned to Pepper as she came over. The younger man was still standing slightly aside so I decided to go and introduce myself. He looked up as I approached. He had mousey brown hair and a soft face.
"Hello." I said happily.
"Oh Hi." He replied a little nervously.
"I'm Y/n! I don't think we've met." I held my hand out to him.
"Harley." He returned, shaking my hand.
"I see you're part of the groom's men. How do you know Tony?" I asked, trying to sound as friendly as possible.
"Oh. Tony and I met when I was a kid and he gave me some tech to get a head start on my engineering dreams. He's sort of been my mentor and a second dad to me these past years."
"Aww that's lovely. He helped me too. Great man."
"Are you part of the Avengers?" He asked, looking over my shoulder at Steve and Nat.
"Yeah I am. They're a good bunch. Come on, I'll introduce you. Tony's never mentioned you before." I admitted, feeling a little bad. "Sorry, I feel bad that he hasn't told us about you. You too seem close."
"Yeah I guess, I don't really mind. He usually comes over for a few days each summer and he helps me perfect my recent work. He's the reason I got into the university I wanted to!" Harley smiled as he began to feel less nervous. Nat turned at the sound of my heels on the path.
"Harley, meet Steve, Natasha, Bruce and I'm assuming you've met Rhodey." I pointed at my friends in turn. Rhodey had joined the group now and Tony had disappeared with Happy.
"Nice to meet you Harley." Nat smiled, shaking his hand.
"You're black widow aren't you?" Harley asked, looking at Nat's face curiously.
"That I am. Not many people call me that anymore though." She admitted. She wasn't a massive fan of the name because it reminded her so much of the red room as it had been her original code name.
"Sorry, I didn't realise." Harley panicked slightly.
"Oh no don't worry kid. It's fine!" She nodded with a big grin.
"Oh, ok." He replied, looking at me slightly for reassurance. More people that I didn't recognise began to come over and congratulate Pepper. Happy and Tony came back and we all lined up by the sides of the aisle. Tony scooped Pepper up and we cheered as the happy couple passed. They led us inside into the reception building. It was gorgeous, two long tables forming an 'L', covered in pretty flowers. There was a large dance floor and fully stocked bar.
"Nice!" I said to Nat as we went to find our seat. More people were invited to the reception but it was still only small. All of the Avengers were sitting together on the same table as Tony and Pepper. Nat and I found our seats as everyone broke into their own conversations.
"That was a gorgeous ceremony." Steve said, glancing down at Pepper and Tony who were laughing loudly. Rhodey was beside Harley and then it was Bruce, Nat, me and Steve. Everyone chatted for a while until the guests were settled. Rhodey then stood and tapped his knife on his glass to draw everyone's attention.
"Thank you! Thank you! I know you're all hungry so I think it's best we get these speeches going don't you think!" He nodded at someone on the other table.
"What can I say. Tony has been my closest friend for quite some time. We've had our ups and downs, quite literally in some circumstances. But I couldn't ask for a better man to be by my side through it all. And Pep, thank you for always sticking by him, even when he does ridiculously dangerous things. He is so lucky to have you, actually I don't know what he'd do without you. I'm glad he found you. A toast, to the couple of the century!." He raised his glass and everyone around the room did the say. "To Mr and Mrs Stark!" Glasses chimed and people clapped.
"Happy?" Happy stood, looking down at the newlyweds.
"Congratulations, you two. I'm so happy for you! It's been a pleasure to watch you both grow and learn together. You have a connection that I have never seen before, a love made up of pure trust and compassion. Tony, you may be difficult and stubborn and just a little self centered, but crikey I've never seen you so happy. Pepper, Pepper. You're just wonderful in every way possible, I really do commend you for sticking with this man for quite so long. I know, it's no easy feat. But I wish you both the best of luck, lasting love and eternal happiness."
"Thank you." Pepper smiled up at him.
I stood up next, winking at Tony as I did. "So I um. Didn't really prepare for this, despite the prior warning. But to be honest there's no need for a script. I was lucky enough to meet Tony the day that my life fell apart. He took me into his home and together they looked out for me. Tony, he's life and soul of the party, the man with bags of confidence and a boat load of sarcasm. And he may be a little overpowering at times bu he has the biggest heart. A heart which has fallen head over heels for the lovely Pepper Stark. Pepper looked out for me and helped me after I had lost everything. She's always one phone call away if I need to rant and she's always there to listen. This woman can run a multi million dollar company and still come home to cook a gorgeous dinner. I mean, she may be no Avenger but she's a superwoman. Cheers to the life they have shared together, and to the happy life they look forward to living."
A couple other people said their own small speeches before the buffet was opened. We all filled our plates as the music began to play. We popped open a few bottles of champagne and got stuck in.
"I have a stupid question." Pepper smiled at us, she had moved to sit with us as Tony and the boys were messing around.
"Go on." I frowned.
"Do you believe in your dreams? Well it's more than that. Say you have a really vivid dream, and you wake up and it felt more like a memory than a dream. Do you think they are sort of real?" She looked a bit embarrassed.
"Well it depends. What's the dream about?" Nat asked.
"Well before all of this and the spaceship, Tony had a dream about us having a child and he was convinced that I was pregnant. Obviously I wasn't but he really thought his dream was real. Of course I thought he was silly until I had a very similar dream last night. And there's just something about it. I don't know..." Pepper said in a hushed voice.
"Is this your way of saying you might be pregnant?" I laughed.
"No. No. Well maybe. But I just wanted to know if you thought the dream could be real, or something."
"Well, maybe. I get deja vu a lot because of my dreams. So who knows." I shrugged.
"Just take a test tomorrow and see." Nat suggested.
"How? I'm on my honey moon. What if I am pregnant and I don't know and then I drink. It can hurt the baby can't it?"
"Ok well, I guess you'll have to chance it." I frowned, not really knowing what else to do.
"Pepper, Come one!" Tony called. He had finished his food and was calling Pepper over for their first dance. Everyone crowded around them as they got in position. "I can't help falling in love with you" began to play softly through the speakers. The lights dimmed and the couple began to move gracefully across the dance floor. They stared into each others eyes as the music built. I looked up at Nat as I listened to the lyrics. She wrapped her arm around my shoulders and pulled me closer. We swayed in place to the music. Pepper caught a glance of us. As they moved around beside us, Tony looked at us with a smile.
"Get over here." He sort of chuckled. Natasha looked at me to make sure I was ok and I nodded. She took my wrist and led me onto the dance floor for the second half of the song. She held my waist and my arms found their familiar position on her shoulders. She stared into my eyes and it felt as if the whole world was disappearing. I could see her and her only, it was peaceful. I felt my eyes water with the sheer joy of it.
"What's wrong?" Nat whispered.
"Nothing." I smiled. "I'm just so in love with you."
The song came to an end and everyone clapped. The upbeat music began to play and most of the people either came straight on the dance floor or went off to the bar. I danced with Pepper and it was really fun. Bruce was going around handing out polaroid cameras for us all. I snapped a few selfies with Pepper and Nat and then Steve took a picture with the three of us. As we consumed more and more drinks and the music got louder the photos got more chaotic and blurred. The disco lights came on and we let our bodies move as they wanted to the music. As I predicted Natasha's hands were on my waist as she held me close. Bruce was watching as I pushed my hips against Nat's. She smirked as she kissed the back of my neck.
"What do you say we find a little back room?" She muttered in my ear. I let out a small laugh.
"You know me too well." I smiled. We pushed through the crowd towards the corridor that led to the bathrooms. We checked the doors along the way but most of them were locked. We were passing the male toilets when Harley came out.
"Oh sorry!" He said as I almost bumped into him.
"Where are you going? The ladies toilets are there." He pointed to the women's door.
"Ah yes, um dress malfunction. Yes we missed the door. Silly me!" I said playfully, pulling Nat into the girls toilets. Harley gave us a confused look but went back to the party without another word.
"Busted." I laughed. Nat shook her head and went to look out of the door.
"We're clear." She smiled at me and we hurried back down the corridor to an open room at the end. It was the staircase that led upstairs. We exchanged mischievous glances before hurrying upstairs. We passed along the corridor to the first room. Natasha turned the handle and fortunately enough the door opened. Inside was a small bedroom, presumably for guest to stay.
"Just our luck." Nat smirked, pushing me down onto the bed.
"Careful you'll rip the dress!" I squealed as she moved my legs to allow her to crawl on top of me.
"If I had my way I'd rip it off of you without a care in the world." She looked me dead in the eye before kissing me. Our tongues clashed filling my mouth with the taste of her drink. I could smell the alcohol on her heavy breath. She moved her hand down my stomach and slipped it under my dress. She stopped kissing me for a moment as she readjusted herself to aid her mission. A wicked smile came over her face as her fingers found their way inside of my underwear.
"Are you sure you want to do this here Darling?" She asked quickly. I nodded slowly. My hand cupped the back of her neck, pulling her back down into another kiss. Her fingers came to my entrance and without a word she dove inside of me. I gasped as how cold her fingers were. I tried to keep my whimpers as quiet as possible. Nat's fingers continued to move inside of me as the feeling moved up my body. My hands ran over her back, my nails probably scratching into her skin.
"Careful love." She sighed, pulling away from the kiss for a moment. "
Sorry." I breathed. She moved her kisses down my neck. Taking her time as she went. The sensation was building between my legs and my breath got faster as her fingers did their work.
"Jesus." I groaned.
"He's not going to help you now." Nat mumbled against my skin. The pleasure grew as my fingers ran through her hair and she increased the speed of her movement.
Nat's POV
It was intoxicating, hearing her whimper under my touch. My tongue drew circle on her neck as I moved back up to her lips. I kissed her softly. I could feel her tightening around my fingers as I moved them inside of her. I knew she was close. I looked down at her face as it contorted with pleasure. Moans left her soft lips as she reached her climax. She looked up at me with a smile as I removed my hand.
"What about you?" My girlfriend breathed, her breath still fast.
"Don't worry about me Darling." I winked. She lent up to kiss me quickly before we both got off the bed and went to find the bathroom. We quickly cleaned ourselves up and Y/n made sure she wasn't too much of a mess. As we left the bathroom Steve came down the corridor.
"There you are! It's barely even been an hour, don't tell me you've already... you know...." He stuttered a little. The gentlemen side of him still made it hard for him to say the word sex.
"Of course not, we just got a little too hot dancing. Thought we'd take a break." I smiled innocently before we went back to the party room. Tony was on the table and Pepper was trying to get him down. He was using one of the champagne bottles as a microphone. Back in black by AC/DC was playing and he was singing along loudly. "Come on!" Y/n said excitedly. She jumped on beside Tony and they sang together. She played air guitar. Pepper gave up trying to get him down and with a bit of persuasion we were both up on the table singing with our partners. The other guests danced and clapped as the room buzzed with life. Y/n took the bottle from Tony and took a big swig of champagne. She jumped on the spot, dancing and laughing without a care in the world. The table felt a little wobbly as her and Tony began to walk up and down it as if it were a cat walk. They moved around to the other side and suddenly it tipped. The table threw them on the floor in front of everyone and they both burst out laughing. I doubled over, unable to keep my balance from laughing so much. I tried to step off the table onto a chair but missed completely and ended up on the floor beside my girlfriend, the groom and all of the used plates. Steve had to stop videoing to help us off the floor. The whole time Bruce was using Y/n's camera to take pictures of us all, both on the table and off it. One at a time we were pulled off the floor by Steve and went straight back to dancing. The party went on all night, especially for the Avengers.
Tony was letting us all stay in the rooms upstairs which was a good thing because no one was able to drive and we all were too drunk to get in a car and not throw up. By the end of the night Y/n had spilled two drinks down herself and Tony was stuck to Pepper's hip. Luckily she had managed to keep him sober enough to remember everything. Unlike my wonderful girlfriend who I had to tackle into bed because of her protests and hysterical laughing.
