Lili's breath ragged as her eyes stare right back at her reflection with wide eyes, black tendrils tainted her pale skin around her neck, and it continues to spread as she eyes it in horror. She had overstayed her welcome in the mortal world, she had abandoned the duty that was entrusted to her by Jessica, and now she was already given a warning that's irrevocable. Lili was becoming one of the corrupted angels who were never heard from by any of her comrades, she thought this was just some sort of hoax to keep them at bay, but she now knows better.
She fixed the collar of her stoga and sighed, she doesn't know how long she will last, but she needs to keep quiet about it, at least for now. The Helios angel lets out a shaky exhale in an attempt to calm herself down, but that only was of no use as she can still feel her ichor blood run through every pulse, ringing in her head as she secures her robe with a tight golden belt.
"Hey Li," A soft masculine voice made her jolt, Hyunjin the cheribum stood behind her with a golden bow, Lili turned to face him, ensuring that the cracks on her neck weren't visible. "What is it, Hyunjin?"
"It's time for the sun to rise," He grinned, "Lisa's waiting for you."
Lili gave him a smile that didn't reach her eyes, "Yeah, yeah I'm on my way." She walked past him, her accessories clinked every time she walked, Hyunjin furrowed his brow as she walked by, "Hold on for a moment."
She froze as his footsteps echoed around the marble floors, "What's that on your neck?" Lili's blood ran cold as he felt his aura behind her, "Are you alright?"
She turned before he can even check her sleeves, "I'll go now, my sister is waiting for me." She waved and walked off, Hyunjin tilted his head as the high-ranking angel's figure vanished. He hummed as he walks to the throne room where the monarch sat. Jessica's eyes caught his figure as she sat upright to greet him, "Hello Hyunjin,"
He bowed, "Suho's with the other Dominions again?"
The woman chuckled and sighed, "He's learning with them, I figured that would help him." Hyunjin scrunched his nose and folded his arms behind him, "Have you seen anyone acting strangely today, your majesty?"
The queen hummed, "Why'd you ask?"
"I am doing this out of concern but I saw something that troubled me today, it's Lili." The monarch's eyes flared gold, "You better not be lying about this, Lili's the highest-ranking angel I've ever inaugurated."
"Well, what if I said that your so-called high-ranking angel is hiding something from you?"
The queen's ears perked up and leaned forward, "Do tell."

"Are you sure that letting the twins wander on their own is a great idea?" You ask as Irene and you walk to a nearby bench and sat on it, Irene guffawed and turn to look at you with a teasing grin, "As long as we don't hear or see them display a human's head on a spear as retaliation."
You gasped and swat her bicep, making your hand sting. "Don't give them any ideas."
Irene's eyes crinkled to crescents and pulled you close to her side as you both look up at the orange-hued clouds, "Besides they've been monopolizing you, it's my turn."
Your cheeks hurt from smiling as you lean your head on her shoulder, "Such a bunny." You sigh in bliss as the scent of soft lavender and vanilla hits your sense of smell. "Ah, this feels great."
"We should try camping," Irene suggested, "Seulgi suggested some great places to camp when she was wandering around."
Her eyes gleamed dangerously, "And teach them how to defend themselves too."
"What are you gonna do?"
Your wife hummed and inhaled your scent, "Teach them a thing or two about their blood, for the meantime, we should plan our road trip."
As silence envelopes you both, it was shortly broken by the sound of blaring sirens from cop cars and a firetruck that drove past you two, Irene closed her eyes while you sighed.
"I have a terrible feeling about this."
"We should check on them." Irene stands up with her hands intertwined with yours. "Agreed."
"So much for alone time, " Irene grumbled as she leads you to her car.

Jiwoo and Jiah walked side by side as they explore the busy streets of Seoul, in their hands were snacks that they had obtained from you and Irene just in case they both go hungry. While they were about to cross the street a Ferrari 488 Pista Gran Turismo nearly rammed Jiah's side, Jiwoo pulled her twin back just in time as the car parks on the side of the road, Jiwoo growled lowly as Jiah's eye's narrowed.
"Hey, bitch!" A young man yelled as he gets out of his car, "Watch where you're going!"
"Watch where you're parking!" Jiwoo retorts, "You nearly ran over my sister and she's not a bitch!" Jiah rolled her eyes as the stranger walked in front of them and gritted his teeth, "Is that a lettuce leaf stuck in between his teeth-"
The stranger removed his glasses and looked at them with scrutiny, "Do you morons know who I am?" Both twins look at each other before shrugging. "No?
"I own half of this area and one phone call can end you both."
The blonde's eyes gleamed mischievously, "End it all huh?"
"Jiwoo, stop, " Jiah tugged her sleeve, "We should stop here." The blonde looked at her in bewilderment, "But he-"
"We promised mom that we wouldn't do anything stupid," She warned and muttered under her breath, "We'll get back on him."
Jiwoo hummed in satisfaction, "Promise?" Jiah nods as they both turned to the man, Jiah bowed. "Sorry."
He huffed and walked away, not even bothering to consider her 'apology'. Jiwoo grinds her teeth in annoyance, "Should we burn him alive while's he's walking?"
"How about decapitate him and display his head on a spear?" Jiah suggests before shaking her head, "Nah, that won't work."
"How about cursing his entire bloodline?" Jiwoo suggests but Jiah hooked her head sideways.
"Then what?" Jiwoo asks with furrowed brows, the raven-haired girl smirked. "I should have burned him while he was in that stupid car of his." Oh, wait...
Jiwoo looked at her curiously as Jiah's gaze turned dark, "Burn his car instead."
She grinned, "Good idea."
The twins eyed the car darkly before willing the engine to overheat and engulf in flames, the crowd gasped as they both walked away with smirks plastered on their faces and disappeared within the crowd of people.
"My car!" The same stranger cried as the twins laugh.
"Hurry!" Someone shouted, "Call the fire department!"
Jiah turned back to see the stranger lock eyes with her, the same man who owned the car that is now engulfed in flames, the raven-haired beauty narrowed her eyes as it flared to red orbs and muttered in a cold distorted voice, "Forget what your ugly ass saw."
Jiwoo made her ice cream solid as ice and threw it at the man with great accuracy as Jiah erased a selected memory, the ice cream hit his forehead with force but not enough to break his skull as he flops face-first to the concrete ground. "Call an ambulance too!" Another one cried. "That's what you get for disrespecting us." Jiwoo grumbled and walked as she tugs her sister's sleeve, "Buy me another ice cream."
"What! Why?"
"Because I threw mine." Jiah sighed and checked her wallet, "Alright, alright. What flavor do you want?"
"Strawberry!" Jiwoo exclaims making her sister chuckle, "I'll have the same flavor too."
Jiwoo giggled and dragged her sister by her sleeve, "Come on! This street blows!"
Jiah laughed at her antics and let her younger twin drag her, unaware of two golden eyes glowering at them, most notably at Jiwoo. Lisa scoffed as she drank her iced latte, "How insulting..."

As the twins' exit the cafe with strawberry flavored ice cream, Jiah nearly reeled in shock as you and Irene stand before them with arms crossed to your chests, Jiwoo's ice cream drops on the floor as she jolts at the sight of the two of you. "Aw, man." She whined as the snack melts against the warm ground.
"Hi mom, mommy." Jiah smiled nervously as Irene raised a brow, "Don't 'hey mom and mommy' me Jiah, what happened?" You demand, "Did you happen to make someone's car explode today?"
"And threw an ice cream on some random stranger?" Irene adds.
Jiwoo chuckled nervously, "I have a perfectly logical reason for that." Jiah turned to her with a raised brow, "You do?"
"I do?"
"Let's hear it then, " Irene challenges, "What's the logical reason behind it?"
Jiwoo inhaled sharply, "Well there was this jerk who nearly ram her, and disrespected both of us."
Both you and Irene flared with anger as you both balled your fists, "He did what!?" Jiah gulped, "Yeah he did that."
"I'll decapitate him and display his head on his gate, " You growled as Irene mumbled, "I should curse his entire bloodline." Your children shared a glance with brows raised and a smile plastered on their faces. "Do you burned his car as a form of retaliation?" You ask.
Jiah nods, "And I shot him with my ice cream!" Jiwoo adds making Irene laugh as you shook your head sideways with a grin, "That's my girls, now give me a hug, I'm so proud of you both!" The twins looked bemused yet embraced her nonetheless with grins on their faces while you shook your head sideways, "They are definitely your children."
"And yours too, " Jiwoo adds, "We both like ice cream!"
Your cheeks flushed, "I didn't say anything about liking ice cream-"
"This is wonderful and all but can you guys step aside?" A young girl's voice stopped the four of them as they see a girl holding a box, "I need to deliver this."
Jiah smiled politely and nods, "Sure go ahead, move aside Jiwoo." Jiah's eyes looked at the nametag pinned on her shoulder, it says Viviane Gale. "Thanks, I'm not paid enough to deliver this."
Jiwoo chuckled as they see the girl's figure enter the cafe. Irene and you stare after her, "I'm pretty I saw her somewhere."
Irene waved her hand in dismissal, "That's in another fanfic, I'll start the car."
"I don't think so though..." You mumbled as Irene shrugged, "Alright kids, let's go, we have somewhere to go tomorrow."
"I take shotgun!" Jiwoo exclaims as she follows Irene who smiled and pulled her to her side, leaving you alone with Jiah. "Well wanna grab an ice cream while we wait for them?" You offered making Jiah whoop in delight. "See! I told you that we both have a knack for ice cream!"
You smiled softly at the young adult before she intertwines her hands with yours and takes you inside the cafe.
