( Here it starts from the day before Karvachauth. )
RaiSinghania family was running here and there for tomorrow's preparations. Aryan with the servants, Anupriya and Chanchal in the kitchen but Ishani was the one least interested. She was lazing in her room away from the chaos. Vansh and Angre were already out for some important work that came up. Rudra was absent to the place where no one knows and Dadi with Riddhima who has taken up the whole responsibility. Riddhima, although knew how to manage everything within an hour, as a skilled party-organiser, was stuck with Dadi for tomorrow's Karvachauth.
"Riddhima, tum sunn rahi ho na? Humare paas itna time bhi nahi hai" Dadi blabbered monitoring everything. Riddhima pulled Dadi to the sofa and made her sit. She took the jar and poured some water. She bent down infront of Dadi and offered her the glass. Dadi hurriedly took and drank it in one gulp. "Dadi, aapki bahu ek party-organiser hai. Do minute me sab kaam ho jayenge. Aap aaram kejiye aur sab jaise chal raha hai waise chalne dijiye" Riddhima proffered her. Dadi smiled and looked around. She soon realized that everything was going smoothly but she was the one hurrying.
Riddhima got up and took her phone from the coffee table. She opened the messages and saw one of Kabir's. 'Will be there in our place' she read and took a look at everything. Once assured that no one will disturb her regarding decorations for a hour, she sat beside Dadi and prepared herself. "Dadi, mujhe ek kaam hai aur market jaana hai. Toh jau? Kyunki woh cheez jo mujhe chahiye woh staff ko batane se fayda nahi" Riddhima faltered. "Arey, toh jaana. Mai thode hi rokungi tujhe. Jaa, jaake lekar aa" Dadi reckoned.
Riddhima's happiness knew no bounds. If she didn't had that phone, things wouldn't be that easy. She smiled remembering how she earned Vansh's trust to get this phone. The surprise he gave was the first one which made her happy and contented and not fear and scared. She took her purse from her room and left the Mansion behind. 'First time, without any bodyguard behind' her face beamed with happiness. She twirled around and walked on the lone road.
Vansh got alert as his watch buzzed off. The screen flashed and in the map there was a red dot out of the Mansion. He agonized and took his suit which was tucked on his chair. "Angre, Riddhima is out of the Mansion and I need to look after that. You complete the stuff and go back home. I'll meet you after an hour" Vansh confided Angre rushing out of the office. He took out his car from the parking lot and increased his speed towards Riddhima.
Riddhima entered the place. It was always a corner of the park meant for them. No one would ever enter there. It was their space with millions of happy memories. She looked upon the man standing infront of her. Her lover, she always believed but this changed after her marriage. The rude behaviour, not caring about her emotions, the unnecessary hatred towards Vansh RaiSinghania, everything flashed infront of her. He wasn't the same Kabir she knew.
"Riddhima! Look at these decorations! They're of your choice" Kabir rejoiced. The man had a wide smile on his face. The mere reason was the lady standing infront of her. He has been longing to meet her. The last he saw her beautiful face was the time during kidnapping Sejal and getting caught by Vansh. Although, he didn't like her and Vansh's closeness but the thought of she loves him, only, made him forget everything.
Riddhima looked around and saw the helium balloons with the letters, OUR SECOND KARVACHAUTH. She smiled but it wasn't the one he expected. The bright white bulbs shining out the whole place were something she always adored. But today, these lightings weren't giving her the positive vibes she used to get. The bench on which he accepted her love but also asked the Price Of Love made her feel disgusted somehow.
Kabir came towards her to hug her but she backed off. "Maintain the distance, Kabir. We're in a public place" she gave him a lame excuse which made him understand the real reason. His anger rose but he controlled himself. He forced a smile and took a step back. His smile was enough for her to lower her confidence. 'What would his reaction if I tell him the real reason for which I'm here?' she wondered.
She took a long breath and opened her mouth to speak. But before she could speak anything, a voice made her stilled. "Sweetheart, you here?" he asked in his imitating voice. Riddhima turned around and chuckled. "If He wants it to be like this then who am I to stop" she said looking at the sky. She looked down at both the men in her life. "I'm tired of not being able to express my feelings. Tomorrow is Karvachauth. Means new beginnings with the person you love. So, I was here to tell Kabir my decision" she stated.
Kabir, who was all angry, plastered his face with happiness. If Riddhima chooses him over Vansh then it would be his double victory. First, Riddhima would be back to him and second, the Vansh RaiSinghania would be defeated on loosing his love. He was anyways going to ask her to come back to him. Last time, he was saved from the biggest truth coming infront of her and he couldn't risk it for the next time.
His mission would only work of Riddhima is unaware of the truth. He would find any other way to complete his mission but now he needs his love back. And this is his only chance to win her love because once she's gone, Vansh RaiSinghania wouldn't let her come back even if she wishes to. Vansh knows about them and would be ready to kill him if he doesn't win.
Vansh, on the other hand, wasn't able to take up the fact that she had already made the decision. His heart crept with fear as he didn't knew that this day would come this early. Everytime, Vansh RaiSinghania wanted, Vansh RaiSinghania got it. He wanted Riddhima, and he got her. But this time, if she chooses Kabir over him, his mind would definitely tell him to captivate her again in his Golden Cage but his heart wouldn't. His heart would break to the core where she being with him, physically but not willingly would not help him.
With the fear, there was a shock too. After having a conversation with his inner self, the Vansh RaiSinghania the world knew, was startled by a girl affecting him so much. Last time this happened, his mother left him alone in this dangerous world. From then, Vansh RaiSinghania kept the doors to his heart closed. But again opened for this girl knowing she loves someone else. The big risk he took, now might bring him down somewhere he had experienced everytime or up to the place where he thought he would never go.
"Kabir, I met you a year back and my life was filled with happiness. Everything in my life was a fairytale. The perfect person, the perfect meet, the perfect dates, the perfect everything. But don't you think this was like a bit too perfect. Everything felt good but planned. And that's not how everything works. It only works when someone forces it to work.
And you, drastically changed after I entered Vansh's life. A truth, of you being a police officer, was revealed on the very day I proposed you with a bonus called The Price Of Love. And you asked me, as in your girlfriend, to marry off someone who is your biggest enemy. Why me? Because just I'm a simple girl. That would have been someone you picked up from any corner of the world.
Why so much hatred for Vansh RaiSinghania? This isn't about just being a police officer catching a criminal. It is something much bigger than that. And may you try to hide it perfectly, the truth will come out in the most unexpected way. I'll be waiting for it. But for now, whatever we had, stops here. Our love, our mission, our everything stops here."
Vansh ran to Riddhima and hugged her tightly. He had tears in his eyes. The Vansh RaiSinghania who was on the verge of getting a betrayal, again, was saved by the lady around whom his world revolves. It was Love At First sight for him and would have confessed it whenever he wanted but he waited. He waited for her to accept his love and love him back. And today was the day. She accepted his love and not directly, but confessed her love to him.
Kabir raged and pulled out the gun from his pocket. He pointed it at Riddhima who betrayed him and went to the person he hates the most. He shot the bullet but unfortunately, Vansh pulled Riddhima to aside. "Wrong move, Kabir" he growled and shot him on his shoulder with his gun. Kabir went weak and winced in pain. Riddhima and Vansh ran to their car and left the place immediately.
"But you still didn't tell those three magical words" Vansh lamented changing the gear. "Tomorrow after the rituals of Karvachauth, meet me in the garden. I have so many things to share with you" Riddhima said with a wink. "Very well then Mrs. Vansh RaiSinghania, I'll be waiting" Vansh exclaimed. "Me too, Mr. Vansh RaiSinghania" Riddhima giggled. A little dream they wished, a clear relationship, and became their reality with their newfound love.
