I took a shower and came downstairs about 45 minutes after YN left, good lord this house is smelling great. My sister can cook... I mean se did learn from the best. Lol. "Foods almost ready." She said washing the dishes she'd messed up. "Aight. Thanks... I sit in the living room and pulled out my laptop. "Did you finish your career studies paper?" She stops and looks at me. "What career studies paper?" I shake my head. She's never forgotten about her schoolwork. "The one Mrs. Brown gave us a month ago and told us it was due Monday." "Oh that. No i havent even started." I look at her. "Choc, this is 30% of your grade, stop playing. Before you don't get your diploma you've come too far. And you'll only prove your dad right." I said. "Relax prince. I'll do it when i finish eating. Its not hard, just what we plan to do after graduation. Piece of cake." "Thats true, speaking of graduation, im ready for Miami. 2 weeks in South Beach. Nice weather, beautiful beach and not to mention the ladies." I smile. "We'll, whatever you do, or whoever you meet. She better be respectful. Not only to herself, but to you too. I dont wanna have to cut a chick." She said looking into my eyes, seriously. "I will." I replied back. "We're gonna have loads of fun." There's that smile. "Hopefully me and ray are back on good terms. I'd hate to have to go to Miami single." "Then you'll just be with me." I said smiling, trying to keep her mind off my bro. "I dont wanna ruin your fun." She spoke back. "You won't be. We have the most fun anyway." With that she smiled and fixed my plate. "Eat up Chico."
YN
As prince and i finished eating, i worked on my paper and he cleaned. I was finished in 4 hours. Piece of cake. I walked upstairs to princes room to piece together my outfit for tomorrow. No jeans. Too hot in cali. I decided on something simple. Blue jean shorts with my white and purple air Jordan tshirt and matching sneakers that ray got me 2 weeks ago. I rip the tags off and prince interrupted. "Those better not be those shorts that show everything." I rolled my eyes. " no, you took them and gave them to Ray and he burned them. Remember?" "Just lookin out for ya." "I know. Thanks." "No problem." He said to me. I looked at my hair and decided to wear it naturally curly. I guess. "Prince, can you take me home tomorrow morning to get my pink and green ribbon for Nay?" I asked. "You're giving that away?" He looked at me shocked. "Yeah." I smiled. "I wore it when i won all my competitions, and since she cheers for the same team, why not? I thinks shes old enough to understand how much it means." "Sure Chica. I'll take you over." I took another shower and got in the bed, prince followed suit and we watched Jessie until we knocked out.
NEXT MORNING 8 am
I shook Prince lightly. "Wake up prince, we gotta get dressed and ready to go." We slowly made our way out of bed and did our morning routines.... I got out the shower and got dressed. Looked in the mirror and made sure everything was in place. I tied a purple bandana around my edges and we left to pick up Day and Prod and get my ribbon. We made out way to Rays house by 9:30. Roc was already there. "Good morning guys!" I smiled as i walked in and Tay ran up to me. "How is my favorite baby doing?" He smiled and made baby noises and i laughed. I went and sat on the couch next to Kay Kay. "Im sorry i left you here yesterday. Do you forgive me?" I asked her. "Yes." She smiled. "Me missed you." "I missed you too. But why didnt you just call me?" "Me thought you was mad." She looked at me. "Princess, just because im mad at your brother, doesnt make me mad at you, I'll never be mad and leave you like that sweetie. Yall can call me anytime, and I'll be here in a quickness. Okay?" She shakes her head and hugs me. "Where is big head anyway?" "In his room." Nay says as she sits next to me putting on her shoes. "Look at you. All dressed and ready to cheer. Your hair is really pretty." "Thank you. Mommy did it." She said and i smiled and mama Keshia. "I think its missing something." I pulled out my pink and green ribbon. "Ray said this is the ribbon you won all your competitions with!!!" She gasped. "Yep. And now you'll win all yours, and we'll pass it to Kay Kay and she'll win all hers." I said putting it in her hair. "Keep it safe. I really love it." I said. "I will... I'll wear it to every competition." She smiled and hugged me. "Thank you so much YN!!!" "You're welcome sweetie. Now finish putting on your shoes. I'll be right back." I get up and walk upstairs.
Ray
I was chillin, waitin to leave when i heard YN downstairs talkin to my sisters and brothers. The sound of her voice makes my world light up. She walked in and closed the door. "Morning." She said quietly. "Hey baby." I stood up and she walked over and gave me the most warm, loving hug I'd ever had. I stood back and looked at the outfit and bandana i bought her. Damn she looks good. "Im sorry." Was all i could manage to say. She just smiled, as to say "its okay." I walked over to my dresser and pulled out two long slender boxes and held them out. She opened one and pulled out a diamond tennis bracelet with a hint of purple in every other diamond. "Ray. This is beautiful!! Thank you!!!" I put the bracelet on her. Now, this one. She opens it and takes out the necklace. She opens the locket and its a picture of us, then she looks at the back. "True love lasts forever. Our love will never die. I love you more than anything. -Ray" she looks at me. "Thank you baby. Thank you!" She smiles. "These are beautiful." She smiles wiping away a tear. "You're welcome. And i know this wont fix what i did, but im trying. Im sorry." I said. "I'll forgive you eventually ray.. Im just really upset. And it hurts to see you, knowing you've kissed someone else. Everytime i see you, i see her kissing you and it kills me. Im not trying to make a big deal or anything. But you were my first everything. It hurts." She looked down, i really didnt want her upset before Nay's big competition so i stopped the whole conversation. "Okay. How about we talk about this later. I dont want you upset today." I pulled out the money she gave me yesterday for my phone. "Here." "No, i cant take that. I broke it, i paid for it." He shook her head. "It was only $200 take your 2 back. I paid for it. It was my fault." She sighed and took it. "Im only gonna give to your brothers and sisters like always." She said. I smiled. "Its yours do what you want." She laughed. "They're waiting. Lets go." We went downstairs. "Hey!" The kids looked at her. "So look. We're gonna race. Me against you 4. Whoever beats me, I'll give them $50." She smiled. The kids got hyped. Even Tay. Everybody grabbed their things and walked outside to watch the race. "Okay. First one to the big bus we're driving in, gets the money. Deal?" They all said yes. She let Tay Tay and Kay Kay get a headstart and mom yelled go... She jogged as Day Day and Nay Nay took off passing everyone. We walked behind them. "I won i won!!!!" Nay screamed. "Yes you did." She laughed and pulled the money out. "As promised." She smiled and gave her the money then turned to Kay Kay and Day Day who were on the verge of tears. "Aw come on, no long faces. We're all winners here!!" She said and gave them both money then picked Tay Tay up. "I guess you're a winner too huh?" She laughed and put the money in his hand. "Go give it to mommy." She put him down and he ran over to my mom. "I would have raced you for $50." Roc said as he laughed. "Shut up!" Prince screamed, we all laughed and loaded onto the big bus. Pumped. "Hey Nay, Ray has on a cheer brother shirt. Where is MY cheer sister shirt?" She asked. "Mommy had it!!!" She screamed and we laughed. "Its in the bag." Mom said. "Its purple. Me picked it out." Kay said proudly. " i helped!" Nay said. "Yall know me too well." YN said and laughed. We all made little conversations while on our way to San Diego. Halfway there, YN draped her freshly shaven legs across mine and rested her head on my shoulder and went to sleep, holding my hand and they went IN. taking pictures and messing with her. It was hilarious. She opened one eye. "Let me catch a picture on instagram. We gone fight." With that said, she flashed a smile and closed her eye. "Too late" we all said together. She jumped up and sure enough, all our ig pages had the same pic from different angles of us... She laughed. "Yall suck. And mama Keshia.." She shook her head and laughed. "It was cute. Dont blame me." My mom laughed.
Prince
We arrived to San Diego for nay's competition and went inside the building. It was huge and cheerleaders everywhere. I kept glancing at YN, she's distant from ray. I know she still feels some type of way about the whole situation. I guess she noticed cause she walked over and sat next to me. "If it wasnt for my baby Nay, i wouldnt be here." She said dryly. "I know. You seem really distant, you haven't forgiven him." I said back. "Nice bracelet and necklace." "Thanks Chico. But buying me jewelry isnt gonna just fix things." I agree. "Its not even a start. He cheated on me." And again, i agree. "We'll, he'll more than likely want you to stay with him." I looked at her. "I know. Im not going though. Im going back to your house. I cant right now." She looked back. "Movie night?" I asked. "Just us tho, not everybody else. I dont wanna be up under them like that yet." I was planning on that anyway. "Sure. Me, you, Netflix, pizza and chocolate." I smiled. "Thanks Chico. You sure know how to brighten my day." She smiled. "Anything for my choc." I looked in the direction she was looking in... Ray. Flirting. In her face. Havent he did enough? Yn's smile faded with a quickness. He'll no. Choc, go see if mama Keshia needs any help." She got up and sulked her way over to help. I walked over to ray and stood between him and the girl. "Nigga, are you serious?!" I asked. "What man?" He looked puzzled. "Bro, come on. YN is here." I shook my head. "Man, im just talking." He said. "Bruh!!!!!! You dumb!! She saw you nigga!!! The fuck man?! Did you forget you just cheated on her last night? Or that doesnt ring a bell? Get your shit together ray. Seriously." With that, i walked off in disbelief. YN isnt with his mom... Shit. Another mess i gotta fix. I look back and he's still talking. Man this nigga is fuckin up.
Keshia
I cant believe my son. He act just like his daddy.. I let Day finish getting Nay ready. We need to talk. I walked up behind him and yanked him so hard i could have dislocated his damn shoulder. "Me and you. Outside. NOW!" I walked off and he followed and we walked outside. "Ray Ray. What is your problem?" He looked at me. "I dont have one." No emotion. "Ray, if you don't love her, or dont wanna be with her, let her know! Dont have her coming around like you want her around! That girl loves you and you seem to not give a fuck!" I looked in his eyes. "Ma i was talking. Thats it. I do love her." He said. "ACT LIKE IT!! you're being a completely different person." YN walks up with tear stained eyes. My baby.. He looked at her. SMACK! Right across the face. I pull her back. He looked at her again "i deserve that." He said. "You don't care ray. Right in front of my face?" She asked and he shrugged. I sigh. Get it together son. She did what I'd never thought she would do next. She sighed, and took off the necklace and jewelry he just got her and held it out. He wouldn't take it so she passed it to me. "I guess you deserve this too. Im done ray. Its over." With that said, she walked off. Nothing else. I just looked at him. "Son i love you. But you're wrong. This is the worst you could have done, let her go... We'll talk later." He still showed no emotion. I put my arm around him and we walked back inside. And he went right back to talking to the same girl.
YN
I cant believe this. He's really still in her face. Ray gives no fuck about me. Im done. I just wanna watch Nay and leave. See i could be dirty and do the same thing to him but i wont get to that level. He'll need me. Boy these hoes will love this news tomorrow at school. Ugh. I looked at prince and he whispered "im sorry." Its not his fault his friend is an asshole. Ny and her team performed and came in first. She was so amazing out there. Im proud of her. I dont want to ride home with this kid. As we got into the bus ready to leave i sat up front. He said in the back. "YN come here." He said. I ignored him and silently cried myself to sleep.
Ray
Well i guess im textin my lil boo tonight, i might go see Denise... I tired of being tied down. I think.
