BARRY POV:
Today was a typical day at STAR Labs. For almost two weeks now there has been no meta-human attacks, which in itself is very strange but not that we are complaining. With the rest we have from the confrontations, me and the rest of the team are concentrating on producing a cure, or rather a prototype and building some new weapons.
In order to be able to handle both tasks at the same time, we did two groups, with the cure group being me, Caitlin and Wally and in the armament group is Jesse, Harry and Cisco. Ralph does not have a defined task, he can either help our work group or suddenly he can go to the Cisco group.
This new work strategy of ours was created last week, since we couldn't spend all the time just checking the city's surveillance cameras. But what I still didn't know was that today would be a different day from the rest. It was mid-morning, when we heard noise in the room, which is after the cortex and before the meta-human prison, so we left what we were doing and went to check what was going on. And what we were about to see, was going to be surreal. Standing in the middle of the small room were two versions of me and Caitlin.
- You heard the noise too ... But what is this ...?! - exclaimed Cisco as soon as he came to our side and saw those two people.
"Who are you?" Asked Ralph.
- The correct question is where are you from? And why are you here? "Asked Caitlin.
- We came from Earth Three. And we needed your help.- replied the other Barry.
"Help, but what for?" Asked Harry.
- Our son was kidnapped this afternoon by a meta-human and we have reason to believe that he is in your Earth. So we asked Cisco to open a portal for us to come and rescue him. However, we cannot do it alone! We needed your help, do you think you can help us? "Asked another Caitlin.
- Son? Do you have a child in common? "Asked Cisco, showing a small smile.
- Yes, Henry.- Barry replied, showing us a picture of the child.- He is only four years old! Can you help us?
- Of course.- I replied, looking again at the child's photograph. - And do you have any idea who might be behind the kidnapping?
- We have several hypotheses because we have already arrested a lot of metahumans. - Barry replied.
While me, Barry and the other Caitlin made a list of suspects, Caitlin and Cisco searched the surveillance cameras for someone who looked like they weren't from this city, or rather from this Earth. Although lunch time was coming, none of us were in the mood or time to leave STAR Labs, so Harry called Joe to see if he could bring us something to eat around here.
- I didn't know what to bring, so I brought pizza for everyone. - Joe said entering the cortex. - Am I crazy or am I seeing two Barrys and two Caitlins?
- You're not going crazy. Joe, these are Barry and Caitlin from Earth Three and they are here because they need to find their son.
- Son? Their? Both? Together? "Joe asked, looking at me and the other Barry.
"Why is everyone here surprised that Barry and I have a child?" Asked the other Caitlin.
- Its nothing. Let's go but have lunch and then continue what we were doing.- replied Caitlin.
After we told Joe what was going on, he also wanted to help. I still tried to move him since he had other tasks at the CCPD, but he said that today was his afternoon off and that he was going to spend it here with us, so he was going to help us find the son of the Snowbarry couple from Earth Three. At this moment, I could only think about what I would be like if it were my son who was in the hands of a meta-human and I cannot even imagine the suffering that these two people find themselves in.
- Wait, I know that face, - said the other Caitlin, when she saw an image on Cisco's computer. - It's the Thundercyan.
"Thundercyan?" Me, Caitlin and Cisco asked at the same time.
- Yes, it is a meta-human that we arrested about seven and a half months ago. In addition to the powers to build storms, he can also control the water. - Barry replied. - He managed to escape about three weeks ago. As we never heard from him again, we thought he was gone.
"And do you think he's the one with your son?" Asked Joe.
"Is that Henry's blanket?" Asked the other Caitlin, and Cisco magnified the image. "But who is that?
- Norvock.- Cisco and I answered at the same time.
- It looks like your meta-human found a friend in Central City.- said Harry.
As the other Barry or Caitlin hadn't come prepared, that is, with their suits, Cisco lent them the old suits from Flash and Killer Frost. As soon as the six of us got ready, Cisco and Harry tracked the location of Thundercyan and Norvock. Here that we arrived at the address that Cisco had given us, we saw that we were in a small barracks on the riverside.
Joe also came with us, but as a normal weapon is not very effective in a fight between meta-humans, he was left with the task of protecting the child until the confrontation was over. Before we entered, we made two teams, the first of which was composed of me, Earth Three Killer Frost and Ralph and the second team was composed of Earth Three Flash, Killer Frost and Wally. While the first team was going in through the front door, the second team was going in through the back door.
Although we are seven people, we shouldn't thought that this confrontation was going to be easy, because it wasn't going to. On the one hand, my team doesn't know Thundercyan yet, we don't even know how he fights is and we know that Norvock always has alternate plans up his sleeve.
- Well, if it is not the wonderfull team, - Norvock said as soon as we entered the barracks. - I admit that I missed you already. Especially yours, Frost!
"I always knew you were my fan," said Killer Frost behind them.
- Wow! I'm impressed! Really better than a Killer Frost is to have two Killer Frost.
"Where's he at?" Asked Earth Three Flash.
- Take it easy, he's safe. For now! "Exclaimed Norvock with a smile." I'm really impressed to see two Flash and two Killer Frost.
- Why did you kidnap him? He's just a child! "Earth Three Killer Frost asked Thundercyan.
- I had to take revenge on the wonderfull duo that imprisoned me for months. And what is the best way to do it, if not to take the most important person out of your lives.
- And what are you going to do with him?
- I still do not know! I mean, I now have a child with extraordinary powers. Can you imagine what it is like to have a child with super speed and the powers of ice?
Earth Three Killer Frost couldn't help but attack Thundercyan, who narrowly dodged. But then what was bullshit talk became a confrontation. We all fought everyone and the worst was that Thundercyan seemed to be stronger than he was before they imprisoned him. We knew that this confrontation would be very dangerous to have inside, because we still didn't know where Henry was, that's why we took this fight outside.
While Killer Frost and I were in charge of Norvock, Earth Three Flash, Ralph and Earth Three Killer Frost were in charge of Thundercyan. Meanwhile, Wally at the request of Killer Frost used his speed to search for Henry inside the barracks. After going through almost the entire barracks, he found a small door on the floor, which was under the sofa and as soon as he opened the door, he saw a small Henry sitting on the floor, with tears falling down his face.
"You're safe," said Wally, but Henry was afraid, so Wally removed his mask.
"Uncle Wally?" Asked Henry, wiping his tears and showing a small smile.
- Yes, it's me dear. Now give me your hand and let's go to Uncle Joe.
- And my mother? And my father?
- They're out there with the bad guys. But don't worry that everything will be fine. - Wally said taking Henry in his arms and taking him to Joe.
As soon as Wally left Henry safely with Joe, he went back to the edge of the team and helped fight these two meta-humans. As soon as Earth Three Killer Frost saw him approaching, he showed her a smile and that made her feel more relaxed, because now she knew that her son was safe.
Killer Frost noticed that Thundercyan had started a small tornado and was coming towards us. She still tried to freeze it, however the tornado was faster than freezing. So Wally decided to go inside the tornado and run in the opposite direction, to see if he could steer the tornado in another direction.
Thundercyan took advantage of our distraction due to the tornado, to create a flood, but what he didn't know was that the two Killer Frost saw what he was trying to do and used their powers to freeze the river.
"Oops, I think the water froze ... What a pity," exclaimed Killer Frost.
"This water looks like ice," said Earth Three Killer Frost, showing a smile.
After freezing the river, they used their powers to freeze the legs of the two meta-humans. However what they didn't count on was that Norvock had brought a gun with him and fired a bullet at Killer Frost. Thanks to her quick reflexes, the bullet only grazed her and in a matter of seconds she was face to face with Norvock.
"I thought you knew me better," said Killer Frost as she froze the pistol. "Because if you knew me, you would know that I hate it when they shoot me!"
Ralph used his two arms to arrest the two metahumans until Earth Three Flash and I put the handcuffs on them to suppress their powers. However, remember when I said that Norvock always had an alternate plan up his sleeve, because he really did and it was time for him to use it. Without us realizing it, he used his snake that is in his eye to hurt us, but again it seems that Killer Frost guesses, because she used a kind of ice sword and cut the snake in two halves.
- I never liked this snake, - said Killer Frost. - I told you that your biggest mistake was getting in my way.
As soon as the two were captured and had no chance of trying anything against us, we went to Joe so that both Barry and Caitlin could hug their son.
"Mom ... Dad!" Henry exclaimed as soon as he saw them come to his side.
- We are here my angel, - said Earth Three Caitlin.
- We will not let anything more bad happen to you, - said Earth Three Barry this time.
As soon as we got back to STAR Labs, Wally and I went to take the two meta-humans to our prison and went back to the team's edge in the cortex. It was time for the happy family to leave, so the goodbyes started.
- Again, thank you very much for your help. Without you we would not have been able to recover our son.- said Earth Three Caitlin smiling.
- Before I go, can I tell you something? In private? "Asked Earth Three Barry.
- Of course.- I answered and we went to the corridor.
- I just wanted to tell you not to waste time. If you like her as I think you do, don't waste time. I took a long time to confess what I felt and risked losing her ... Don't make the same mistake as me.
After this advice, we returned to the cortex and Cisco opened a portal for Earth Three. After the three advanced, the portal closed, leaving us to think about what had happened on that day. I never thought to see another version of me and on top married and with a son. As for the advice that Barry gave me, I think I'll think about it well.
