Scarlett's pov:
Today I have to go to work and film some challenging scenes - this means that I can't bring Y/N with me so I called Lizzie to come and look after her for the day. She is 3 years old so she still gets really excited and hyper about everything so she is a lot to look after, but I know that Lizzie can handle it as she loves Y/N so much.
It was currently 5:30 am and I was debating whether to wake up my daughter. She usually gets up at 6/6:30 anyway and I knew if I got her up earlier then she would most likely throw some strops later and I don't know if Liz can handle that.
I decided to let her sleep until Liz gets here, which was meant to be in 30mins.
While she was still sleeping, I went to get ready.
>time skip to 30 mins later<
I had done everything I needed to, and was now waiting for Liz to arrive. Y/N was still asleep but I wanted to let her sleep for as long as possible, in order to make this day as easy for Lizzie as possible.
Lizzie's pov:
I had just pulled up Scarlett's drive and was making my way to her front door. Every time I come here, I'm in awe of her house - it's so lovely.
I knocked on the door and a few seconds later, Scar let me in. She pulled me into a hug and lead me to the lounge.
We sat down next to each other on the sofa and she began talking about what I would do today.
"Basically Y/N is still asleep, so you need to let her sleep for as long as possible or she will be really grumpy later. When she wakes up and sees I'm not here, she probably won't be happy, so just give her cuddles and then she'll be fine.
And with the plans for today, you can do whatever you want, I've left money in the kitchen so just ask what she wants to do. But apart from that, there is nothing else to tell you." Scar said to me.
"Scar don't worry, we'll be fine. I'll message you join the day. Love you, have a nice day filming."
With that she left the house and I turned on the tv, waiting for Y/N to wake up. Scar said she usually wakes up around now, but to let her sleep until she wakes up.
>1 hour time skip<
I had been watching tv for around an hour, when I heard cries coming from upstairs.
I walked up the stairs and into Y/N's room - she was sat up in her bed, messy hair, dummy hanging out her mouth and tears streaming down her face. She looked really cute.
She looked up at me and slightly smiled before whining "I want mama." Scar had said this would happen so I was prepared for it. I reached down and picked her up, she immediately clung onto me and began kicking her arms and legs around.
I rubbed my hand up and down her back and cooed at her "Bubs your mum will be back later, I came to hang out with you today. We can do whatever we want."
With that she immediately perked up, looked at me with her big eyes and said "Okay Lizzie. Can I have some food please?" I couldn't help but internally awe at her, she was so polite. "Of course you can my love."
I took her downstairs with her still on my hip and made my way to the kitchen. I put her down in her chair and made her some fruit and yogurt. She dug into it straight away while babbling away to me. I chatted back and before I knew it, she had finished.
She put her hands up and made grabby hands at me, signalling that she wants to be picked up. "Come on Y/N, let's go get you changed." I took her upstairs and got her into a cute outfit, blue bell bottom jeans and a black top.
Once I had changed her, and gotten her ready for the day, I decided to ask her what she wants to do. "What do you want to do today bub?" She looked at me while contemplating her choices. Her face lit up with an idea and she said to me "Can we go on a walk and feed some ducks. Then get ice cream and go to some shops."
I laughed at her choice of activity. She was just too cute. Nodding my head at her, I picked her up and began walking downstairs. "Of course we can. Let's go and put our shoes on and then we can go."
After I put our shoes and coats on, I grabbed her hand and we began our walk to Central Park. It was a 20min walk, but I knew it would take longer as Y/N is only 3 and doesn't walk very fast. I couldn't help but laugh at her as she would run ahead of me, wait for me to catch up, point out some things she can see, and then repeat it all over again.
Overall it took us around 35mins to get there, which wasn't as long as I thought.
I got the bread out of my bag, and handed it to her. She grabbed it off of me before running over to the pond. Straight away she began feeding the ducks and laughing when they would eat the bread. "Look Lizzie! She would yell every time, making me laugh at her. Without her knowing, I took a video and sent it to Scar knowing she would want to see this.
She made sure that every duck got fed so we were there for ages - she couldn't miss one as she 'didn't want any to get upset or hungry.'
By the time we had finished in the park, it was time for lunch and Y/N was starting to get grumpy. This girl loved her food and so if she was hungry let's just say everyone would know about it.
She began stomping her feet and whining, refusing to walk anywhere. So after 5 mins of trying to get her to follow me, I went over to her and picked her up, walking us over to an Italian restaurant that she liked.
>time skip to after lunch because I'm lazy<
After we had eaten lunch, which was a massive bowl of pasta, we decided to go to some shops. I ended up buying her 3 new outfits, a new pair of wellies, some toys and a duck stuffed animal. I just couldn't say no to her, she would give me cute puppy eyes and then I would cave.

It was 3pm by the time we had finished at the shops, I bought myself some things but mostly just things for Y/N. I promised her ice cream so that's where we were heading next. There was a parlour around 5 mins away.
Being a 3 year old, Y/N spent ages choosing her ice cream flavour, but she ended up picking cookie dough and I got mint choc chip. We spent our time talking and taking photos. She loved the dog filter on Snapchat, so many were took with that. I didn't mind as I loved hearing her laugh as the tounge popped out.
It bewildered me that I could enjoy spending the day with a 3 year old so much, but I honestly had such a good time. She would come out with random sentences and phrases that would send us both into a fit of giggles.
She managed to get ice cream everywhere so I cleaned up her mouth, and we began our journey home. This time, she stayed next to me, holding my hand, and making funny little jokes: laughing so hard when she would tell one she thought was hilarious.
Before we knew it, we were back home and it was time for dinner. I just made us sandwiches as we had eaten out today so we were still pretty full.
"What do you want to do now lovely?" I asked her. She bounced up and down before shouting "let's watch frozen!!" I giggled at her eagerness and we both walked over to the sofa. I sat sideways on to the tv, my side being against the back of the sofa. Y/N decided to climb onto me, straddling my lap and resting her head on my chest, laughing when I gave her a shocked face.
It was around half way through the movie when I began hearing cute little snores. I looked down to find Y/N asleep, she looked so cute.
That's when I realised how tired I was. I shuffled down the sofa more, careful not to wake up Y/N and drifted off to sleep myself.
