What happened previously:
"So that proves my suspicions...you were hurt in your dream Kakyoin, I know it sounds crazy. Apparently you carved those words in your arm. It is the only possibility that is left. I know it is madness but listen, you chose the words baby and Stand....What if the baby is a Stand user who gets to you in your dreams with hurting you in real life and you hurt yourself to help you remember ....if it makes sense...." You spoke calmly. "I know...I cannot believe it myself but what if....The baby is a Stand user who swore loyalty to Dio, I mean we faced animals....why is a baby any different?" you asked grimly as both of you looked to the baby as he looked away quickly proving your suspicions as Kakyoin stood up walking closer to the baby as you held him back.
"Stop Kakyoin, I know what you are thinking and seriously I feel the same but we cannot ac rashly. I stay up tonight and keep up guard, lay low..." You advised as you guided him back gently. "We have to wait, we do not have enough proof...for now...."
Death Part2
Currently you sat next to Kakyoin drawing soothing circled on his back as all of you ate in silence at the bonfire except Jotaro who was standing a bit apart of the group looking at the night sky holding a coffee mug in his right hand.....
So this is Saudi Arabia, about 8,800 kilometers from Japan. It has been about four weeks since we began this journey. If we do not hurry we will be in serious trouble. Jotaro thought heading back to the group as he saw Kakyoin leaning onto your shoulder for comfort as you hugged the red head making Jotaro clenched his fist gritting his teeth in frustration though he did not know why it bothered him so much.
Kakyoin.....He sat down next to Polnareff observing both of you frowning as Polnareff leaned closer.
"Hey Jotaro, what do you think is up with Kakyoin?" He whispered "First he nearly kills us in his sleep on the plane, then he looks ready to attack the baby but Y/N held him back and now they are cuddling.... Both of them were silent for a while now, normally Y/N would scold Mister Joestar or soothe the baby and Kakyoin looks so conflicted...something is just not right. If you ask me Kakyoin is at his wit's end and Y/N is completely on edge because of Mister Zeppeli. Do you think they will be able to keep going from here? I do not doubt Y/N's abilities since she is the most experienced of us, but Kakyoin...." He trailed off as you and Jotaro made eye contact as you smiled at the grumpy looking Highschool delinquent warmly patting Kakyoin's head before moving to sit next to Jotaro, so he will hopefully stop glaring daggers at the poor cherry lover....
AS you sat next to him Jotaro felt slightly less on edge as he leaned his head on your shoulder like a puppy looking for affection.
For a second there, I thought Kakyoin actually figured me out....The baby snickered.....but Y/N and the others surely won't let him attack me for now. By the looks of it he still is half-doubting himself. To top things off, we are in the middle of the desert....all I have t do is wait until they fall asleep. If there is no one to wake them up.....
"Something smells good. What kind of food is that?" Polnareff asked curiously walking over to Joseph see gin him warm something up over the fire stirring once in a while.
"Baby food. It is a concoction of milk, egg yolk, bananas and bread all stewed together." The old Joestar hummed. "So you want to taste?" he smiled feeding Polnareff as his eyes widened in pleasant surprise.
"WOW! This is flat-out amazing! Give me more!" The silver haired man demanded excitedly shoveling another bite in his mouth as you lightly laughed. He really acted like a child himself.
"Easy now! There won't be any left for the baby!" Joseph laughed as the baby trembled in rage.
Incompetent bastard! He cursed in his mind. How dare you eat my food? I am wasting away over here! Hurry up and feed me, damn it! The baby looked into the other directin seeing a black scorpion crawling in his small basket. A scorpion! He realized in fear as he followed I with is yellow eyes. Blast it! As the scorpion went to attack him, he used his safety pin to stab it in one swift motion, killing I instantly as he sighed in relief wiping the sweat from his small forehead. That was a close one. Suddenly he noticed that the red head, Kakyoin saw him, his amethyst eyes wide in realization and his face morphed into one of horror. Crap baskets! Kakyoin was watching
He killed the scorpion. Y/N is right, the baby really is.....Kakyoin thought panicking as he looked to you seeing you talking with Jotaro cheerfully, teasing him and trying to take his hat.
Shit! The baby panicked.
"That is it! Mister Joestar, Polnareff did you see that?" Kakyoin shouted as you turned your head to the red head.
"Huh?" Joseph looked at the red head dumbfounded as you looked at the baby in horror.
"That baby is not normal!" Kakyoin exclaimed as you stood up briskly. "He just killed a scorpion! He stabbed ti! The baby skewered it with his own safety pin!" He pointed at the baby as you reached him hugging him from behind.
"Kakyoin, what are you doing?" You whispered "didn't we agree to wait?"
"Y/N, please our lives are in danger and this is enough proof I need, look for it yourself!" He whisper shouted back grabbing your shoulders harshly as you looked at him unfazed but Jotaro suddenly yanked you away from the red head glaring at Kakyoin.
"Kakyoin, hold on! The hell are you talking about? Y/N?" Joseph asked not following
"I am saying that baby is not a baby! He is not even a year old, yet he knew what a scorpion is and he killed it with those tiny hands of his!" Kakyoin shouted agitated as Jotaro held you protectively against his chest.
"A scorpion?" Joseph inquired rushing over to the baby getting him out off the basked as Kakyoin searched for it frantically. "Where is it?" Joseph asked
"It is here! There should be an impaled scorpion in here!" The red head shouted looking around as a shadow cast over Joseph's face as you bit your lip trying to get out of Jotaro's iron grip forcefully.
That was the reason why Kakyoin should have waited and took it directly from the baby and not shout it aloud everywhere. You thought. The baby had enough time to hide it somewhere....But where? You furrowed your eyebrows. "Jotaro let go or else I will have to hurt you." You stated calmly despite your inner turmoil. As he reluctantly let go, tching.
"It is gone?" Kakyoin whispered in disbelief, standing up briskly trying to get to the baby. "I swear it is true! HE hid it somewhere! Check his clothes!"
"We got it Kakyoin! Knock it off! That is enough!" Joseph said taking the baby with him.
"Mister Joestar!" Kakyoin tried to protest.
"Like I said....you must be clearly exhausted. Get some rest and we will talk about it in the morning." Joseph walked away as Kakyoin looked at Polnareff and Jotaro for help but they only walked away as you went to him.
"I believe you, but they are right. The baby is wicked....we have to catch him red handed or else they won't believe you." You hummed.
"Y/N, please tell them!" He begged you as you shook your head "Why not? You believe me! You think so too! Jotaro and Mister Joestar will listen to you, you are their godmother!"
"No Kakyoin thy respect me but they do not listen to me because I am their godmother. You have seen how Jotaro treats his own mother. They respect me because I am Y/N, someone they can depend on and trust, but they won't even listen to me, since I am like you a bit....unstable in their opinion. They are all terribly stubborn, especially Joseph, he is convinced that this baby is innocent. IF I start now we will only be in greater trouble, please Kakyoin stay cool headed. I promise you I won't sleep tonight." You smiled comfortingly seeing Joseph was blowing on the baby food to cool it down trying to feed it to the baby.
"Okay, open wide! IT is delicious! "The old Joestar sung happily as the baby refused frantically.
"See what I mean." You commented "I go to help Jotaro and try to convince him alright?"
"Thank you Y/N." Kakyoin whispered gratefully. "I do not know what to do without you."
"Many don't." you laughed "Are you sure that I do not have to heal your arm?" He only shook his head you he chuckled lightly as his heart clenched seeing you walk to his black haired friend.
Stop it! The baby screamed in his mind. I cannot eat right now you idiot! He was near tears as suddenly Kakyoin made a rash decision, ignoring your advice by swatting away the spoon.
I am sorry Y/N. Kakyoin thought. However Jotaro is not the only one who does not want to depend on you forever. Right now I have to take things in my own hand! I have to do this!
"Mister Joestar! I am not imagining things! I do not know where he hid the scorpion but I am sure he is the Stand user! And there is something I have that will prove it to you!" The red head exclaimed as your face went pale as he pulled up the sleeve of his dark green school uniform.
"Look at these cuts! Read what it says! IT is a warning! IT must have happened to me when I was sleeping!"
"Oh my God!" Joseph screamed as you trembled in disbelief.
Why does he not listen to you! They still won't believe you! They will think you have gone mad! Your mind was racing.
"Kakyoin you did not do that to yourself, did you?" Jotaro asked as Kakyion looked at him in shock and disappointment.
"Kakyoin...it has finally happened...."Polnareff whispered in terror.
"OH MY GOD!!" Joseph muttered.
You colossal buffoon. Did you not realize if you showed them the cuts on your arm, they would thin k you were crazy? The baby snickered rolling his eyes.
Did I just make thing worse? Kakyoin thought. I should have listened to Y/N after all but I cannot give up yet. It looks like I have no other choice! His eyes flashed in determination as you tried to call out to him.
"No Kakyoin don't-!" you screamed as Kakyoin manifested Hierophant Green.
"It is time for a little force! HIEROPHANT GREEN!!"
However before anything could happen, Polnareff's Silver Chariot knocked him out could with a swift punch to the head.
"It is no use. The guy has completely lost his mind." Polnareff mumbled as you ran to Kakyoin.
This cannot be happening. I am certain of it, I am certain of what I saw, Jotaro....His Stand was the one we fought in our dreams, Polnareff....We cannot fall asleep Mister Joestar.....Believe me,.....Everybody, Y/N tell them I am right.....We cannot fall asleep they will be killed. Please Y/N, ...... continue to believe me, carry out our plan. Guys please..... Kakyoin's mind was racing as you caught him in the last second before he lost consciousness as you noticed Hierophant Green burying itself into the ground....
You guys lose! The baby cheered silently. Your petty mistrust just cost you your lies. Victory is mine, fools!
"I cannot believe it. Does it mean Kakyoin cannot fight or travel with s anymore?" Polnareff asked unsurely as Joseph laid the baby back into his basket gently.
"We will discuss it in the morning." Joseph decided as you suddenly spoke up.
"Guys, why do you mistrust Kakyoin?" you spoke calmly. "He tried to protect us from possible danger why are you treating him like this?" You clenched your fists in anger knowing that you could not act rashly this time. Telling them your suspicions like Kakyoin did will only lead them to mistrust you too, they are more protective of the baby now.... Better to appeal to their sense of companionship, their shared friendship. "Do you think, Kakyoin, a collected, cal and rationing friend like him would turn crazy from one day to the next? He would never act without reason, so why do you mistrust him?" You shouted at them as Polnareff and Joseph looked to the ground guiltily.
"Y/N calm down." Jotaro stated sternly "He hurt or tried to hurt a child, you are not behaving like your normal self too."
"You, Jotaro?!" you shipped out head around, you thought him of all people would understand what you did not know that he was still pissed seeing you so close with another male.
"Let's sleep, I am tired. Come one Y/N, we can all talk it out tomorrow." He offered his tone softening as Polnareff and Joseph agreed going away as your mind was racing.
I have to stop them but they won't understand how.....how can I....you looked to the baby seeing it seemingly sleeping peacefully....innocently. Am I turning crazy and planted the thought in Kakyoin's head....I.....am I wrong? You started to doubt yourself suddenly as all of them prepared the sleeping bags.
"Hey Y/N! Are you coming?" Jotaro frowned having prepared your sleeping bag too as you shook your head.
"I am not sleeping tonight; some has to stay awake in case of emergency." You mumbled as Jotaro scowled. "You should not sleep too, none of you.....I have a bad feeling...do not sleep."
"Listen if you are still angry-"He yelled at you. He sighed. "Come on sleep Y/N, we are all tired come one."
"Shut up Jotaro! Leave me the fuck alone and be a good kid!" You barked. "I asked you to stay awake!"
His eyes flashed hurt before turning around as you wanted to scream at them.
Kakyoin I believe in your plan! You decided your eyes flashing dangerously. If I cannot knock some sense in them I at least wake you guys up with all I have even if I have to hurt you , I will protect you guys, I won't disappoint you guys.
You sighed taking Kakyoin's body carrying him to his sleeping bag not noticing the baby moving and spitting out the scorpion it had in his mouth the entire time.
Damn, so Y/N is staying up? No matter, I am going to slice each of them up and I will scatter the remains of the others all over the desert none the less, Dio still wants her alive anyway....
Soon all of them were asleep as you manifested you Stand Heal, creating small strings of Stand energy connecting them to each of them as you took a deep breath as you used Hamon to enhance them reaching each one as you steadied your breath slowly staying at high alert. At least Kakyoin is with them, he will know what to do in the dream world...I cannot bring myself to kill a baby....You clenched your fist....you played with the thought you realized you felt disgusted thinking even that way, he was still a baby even if he was an enemy , so you went along with Kakyoin...
Jotaro opened his eyes looking up seeing an unfamiliar green sky as Polnareff and Joseph found themselves there too, lying in their cozy sleeping bags between giant tea cups.
"Why are we sitting around in the middle of an amusement park like a bunch of idiots?" Joseph aksed confused scratching his head.
"That is right! This is..." Polanreff's eyes widened in recognition, he jumped up in terror. "Jotaro! Mister Joestar! Be on your guard!" He warned "My memory is coming back. We are in a dream world. A horrible one. We have entered a world of nightmares!"
"Oh, so it is just a dream. You had me worried there." Joseph shrugged it off lying back down.
"Do not make the same mistake I did!" Polnareff screeched. "Listen! Kakyoin was telling us the truth! Baby. Stand. We are in enemy territory. Id I not believe it either, but that baby is a Stand user!"
Polnareff declares as Jotaro and Joseph were alarmed immediately.
"Do you think Y/N knew? And this was the reason why she acted to strong towards us and the baby earlier? She even supported Kakyoin" Joseph asked shocked as Jotaro kept silent....he knew it somehow deep inside....but he ignored your warnings. You tried to talk to him, you ordered him to stay awake, you called out to the others too but they only went away leaving him to deal with you.
All of them stood up walking around carefully feeling miserable for ignoring you.
"I knocked Kakyoin out!" Polnareff realized in horror. He should already be here. We have to find him! Where are you Kakyoin? I have got to make it up to you!"
"Polnareff, good lord! What is going on with your hair? Did you mess brushing it?" Joseph screamed
"Eh?" the Frenchman looked up seeing his hair growing at an incredibly rate as suddenly it tied itself around two pillars keeping him in place as he screamed in horror
"Polnareff!" Joseph yelled as in that moment the golden chain of Jotaro's school uniform moved on its own, strangling Jotaro as he tried to break free.
"What?" the teenager gritted out.
"My, .....my prosthetic hand is...Holy shit!" Joseph shouted as the mechanical hand grew more and more in size until it got too heavy as it crashed to the ground.
The flowers busted out laughing with their creepy smiling faces, giggling at the sight.
"How are we supposed to fight him? How?" Polnareff panicked. "Anything can happen in this world. There are no rules. Nothing makes sense! He has total control over everything. Why is Y/N not waking us up....but when we wake up we surely will forget everything and yell at her only to sleep again!....Wait....I remember there being one rule if he wants to slice us to pieces he will have to use his stand and nothing but his Stand!" they watched in fear the enemy Stand approaching in all its terrifying glory; DEATH 13
"Lali-ho!" Death 13 went to kill Jotaro with his scythe not wasting time as Jotaro yelled.
"STAR-"
"Jotaro it is no use! It is impossible to bring our Stands into the dream world!" Polnareff warned
"PLATINUM!!!" It appeared, Star Platinum appeared!
"That is weird....It is....His Stand manifested." Polnareff commented as Star Platinum suddenly turned on Jotaro punching the teenager instead roaring with a crazy look in its eyes.
"ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!!!!"
Suddenly a frying pan appeared in its head as it hit himself with it various times, its face changing like a cartoon character
his it face then turned into Death 13's and its body half of Silver Chariot.
"Lali-ho! I am a fake! The overwhelming power! The absolute terror! It is so much fun! A Stand is a manifestation of the mind! And what are dreams if not the mind laid bare? My Death 13 has trapped you in your subconscious which is why you cannot summon your Stands. But..." He cut off the head now an exact image of a beheaded Silver Chariot..." had you summoned your Stand before you fell asleep." Death 13 nudges the head off its scythe playfully "You could have brought them with you, like the clothes you are wearing, sleeping bags and your prosthetic hand....I thought if I could risk Y/N coming along if she fell asleep too but her Stand is constantly active even in her subconscious....hence why she does not age, so she would be too risky to bring along...so now Death 13 will never be forced to face another Stand! And only a Stand can defeat a Stand so I will always come on top! Now
How about you give me a scream? One that captured the joy and elation I am about to feel at my easy victory." It cheered as suddenly a greenish shimmering tentacle appeared next to Death 3, catching everybody's attention.
"Lali-ho?" It turned its head to the side seeing Hierophant Green next to it.
"Lali-ho!" Hierophant Green replied smugly.
"Oh it is just one of the fakes I mad. " Death 13 concluded, nudging it but instead Hierophant Green started to strangle Death 13. "What?" It screeched in surprise. "I do not understand! This one does not seem to be fake! This is the real Hierophant!
With a poof Polanreff's hair returned normal, so did Jotaro's chain and Joseph's artificial hand.
"It is normal." Joseph observed in relief.
"Look it is Kakyoin!" Polanreff pointed out.
"Did you forget I had summoned my Hierophant Green by the time I was knocked unconscious? I had it burrowed underground to conceal itself. Before I fell asleep of course, Y/N noticed too." Kakyoin said confidently. "Now it is time for your punishment, baby."
In the real world you noticed the baby was having trouble breathing as you smiled to yourself, Kakyoin did it, you had opened each sleeping bag, watching out for any kind of wound while maintaining Heal's ability, relaxing their muscles, warming them despite the biting cold of the desert.
"Let go!" Death 13 cursed trying to get to Hierophant Green using its scythe.
"Give up, Death 13. I had Hierophant place himself in your blind spot. If you keep up this futile struggling." Kakyoin stated jumping out of one of the giant tea cups. "I do not care that you are a baby. I will snap your neck since Y/N can't. Why do I know that? Because you are still alive!"
AS Joseph, Jotaro and Polnareff ran over to the red head.
"Kakyoin we owe you an enormous apology." Joseph stated.
"I thought you had lost your mind. I could not take you at your word. Y/N made it clear....You were fighting a battle and for ignoring you and Y/N, I am sorry." Polanreff apologized as Jotaro smiled.
"No Polnareff. It could not have been helped. I only realized how to bring a Stand into the dream after you struck me with your Silver chariot's fist. So in a way, this is all thanks to you." Kakyoin replied
"Really?" Polnareff blushed a bit embarrassed. "Now I feel conflicted about the whole thing! That is embarrassing."
You observed Polnareff grinning from one ear to the other happily, while the baby still struggled, Kakyoin too goes easy on him, you noticed....Kakyoin, he is a good boy. You laughed lightly
"Kakyoin that compassion of yours is a fatal flaw, the same Y/N has. You are still trapped in my nightmare world!" Death 13 stated as the clouds all moved above them.
"Uh, oh, what is up with these clouds? Those clouds, they are changing shape and closing in!" Joseph observed.
"I am warning you, do not try anything Death13!" Kakyoin shouted furrowing his eyebrows as the clouds turned into a giant hand taking the scythe from Death 13.
"Kakyoin! You have to get Hierophant Green away from his back!" Jotaro waned as Kakoyin's eyes widened in shock.
"I chop you in half!" Heat 13 declared as the scythe cut through ......on one swift motion.
"Impossible! How could he do that?" Kakyoin gritted out. "He chopped himself in half."
Hierophant let go off the enemy's throat as Kakyoin fell to the ground.
"KAKYOIN!" Joseph screamed on top of his lungs. "Lali-ho!" Death 13 opened its long dark purple coat. "Have you not figured it out? Death 13's body is hallow! IT has only a head, arms and a scythe! You gigantic ignoramuses." The baby laughed but them you burst out laughing, snickering.
"Hey baby, what is to funny?" You asked laughing as the baby looked at you in fear. "Kakyoin isn't dead."
"Nah, just kidding." Kakyoin smiled standing up.
"Kakyoin!" The group shouted. "You sure you are alright?"
"Yes, even if I was injured Y/N would have healed me. So please take a closer look. He should not cling to his back forever....I mean Hierophant green." The red head stated smugly. "Surely you know my Hierophant is not that careless."
Hierophant Green hid itself under the cloth its body sliding into Death's body.
He is not chopped in half! He is turning into a string and he is slithering into my ear! The baby realized fearfully as you listened closely hearing his anguish as you laughed sadistically.
Kakyoin is pretty clever huh?
Death 13 tried to cut Hierophant with its scythe however missed its target as it moved out of the way its body reduced to a green shimmering head.
"My arm is moving on its own." Death 13 realized as its scythe was not around its own throat. "He is invading my skull!" T screeched in pain, Hierophant Green has now complete control.
"I told you before! My Stand was in your blind spot so your scythe could not cut him. Now then unless you would like to be destroyed from the inside out how you about heal the cuts on my arm? Let's not bother Y/N with such a tiny scratch now....anything is possible in a dream right? Healing a cu should be easy." Kakyoin smirked.
"Right....."Death 13 agreed hesitantly.
Dawn broke in the Saudi Arabian desert as you and Kakyoin prepared breakfast well more like Kakyoin did since you deserved a small rest before the journey continued. ....You stay up the whole night after all with you stand active, so you felt quite exhausted however the scent of delicious food lured you out only a few minutes later making him laugh amused as you munched on you pancakes happily as you agreed to wake up the others, excited like a small child you jumped up grabbing the next pan and spoon banging them together full force.
"All right everyone. Rise and shine!"You laughed nudging Polnareff with your foot.
"Polnareff, up and at them! Kakyoin made us a nice breakfast!" You walked over to Joseph throwing him out of his sleeping bag forcefully, before moving to Jotaro leaning down close to his ear. "good morning sleeping beauty, let's go." You chuckled as he looked at you in surprise, blushing as he tilted down his hat getting up as all men went to a nearby water source washing their face.
"I feel like I had a terrible dream." Polnareff muttered.
"You and me both." Joseph said wiping his face with his towel. "I am drawing a blank, but I have the feeling it was terrifying."
"Kakyoin." Polanreff's eyes widened in shock as he ran over to the red head in confusion. "Are you okay?"
"I am fine." Kakyoin replied as you splashed water on Jotaro's face as he frowned at you as you gave him a towel laughing.
"What? You were acting like a lunatic last night! You even carved letters in your arm..." Polnareff stated but the wounds were gone. Did Y/N heal them?
"All right, I think I will change the baby's diaper now." Kakyoin took the baby food with him as you snickered at Polnareff's dumbfounded expression. "It is morning sleepy head." Kakyoin cooed at the baby.
He seems to be getting along with the baby and Y/N does not seem to be angry with us anymore. Polnareff observed perplexed. Maybe I just dreamed the whole thing....
"Well then, did you have a good rest?" Kakyoin asked the baby boy.
"Oh, never mind!" Polnareff waved it off not noticing that the face of the baby was one of absolute horror.
"Everyone has forgotten." Kakyoin chuckled. "A Stand whose very existence is completely forgotten. What a strange creature. But I and Y/N have not forgotten a single thing. I suppose I am the one who brought his Stand into the dream. Listen, Y/N and I came to an agreement. Because you are e a baby we won't eliminate you. We won't even injure you. We will take you to a nearby town you need to be returned to your mother but do not ever come anywhere near us again. If you do you will have to be punished." Kakyoin exclaimed using the spoon to take a piece of the baby'S poop. "In a manner such as this...." He let it fall into his food stirring as the baby watched in terror and disgust.
"Oh Kakyoin." Joseph walked over. "I see you have made baby food for the little lad!"
"Yes." Kakyoin confirmed.
"Good I am sure he must be starving by now." Joseph smiled as the baby's eye twitched.
Hey no...you wouldn't
"Eat up! These yum-yums are delicious!" Joseph stated cheerfully picking up the spoon to feed him "Say ah!" but of course the baby refused to eat it. "Again? It is as if he does not like the stuff....At this rate I will have to force-feed him."
"Stop!" Polnareff shouted. "Hey Mister Joestar. If you force-feed I he sill hate it even more; In special cases like this.....Coochie-coochie- coo!" He tickled the baby's stomach as the baby opned his mouth for a split second, Joseph did not miss his opportunity as the baby gulped......
"I told you it is delicious!" Polanreff cheered as you and Jotaro drank as cup of coffee relaxed.while Kakyoin grinned at his accomplishment.
"Ba-dum—tss."
Joestar and the others have now crossed the Arabian Penisula and aare currently making their way across the Red sea as they prepare to enter Egypt, but!
"Hey Y/N, something is off. We are going the wrong direction. I thought we were traveling west straight to Egypt! Looks like we are heading for that island." Jotaro pointed out.
