Summer. I hate it, well did hate it, I hated spending a whole 2 months with the cruelest father in history. I must not worry about that though, I have other problems, such as Draco killed Dumbledore. I still can't believe that he carried out the task though, Mattheo and I will be riding the train back towards the platform and apparating from there. I gathered all my trunks loading onto the train when Daphne came beside me,
"Do you know where Draco is?" She asked
"No, he's safe though Daphne" I assured her as we loaded our trunks into the carriage rack above. I had to endure a whole train ride full of Daphne saying she misses Draco and can't believe in Dumbledore's death. Once the train started slowing down I hopped up and hugged Daphne,
"Have a great summer" I said before pulling away, exiting the compartment, and grabbing my trunks. I headed off the train onto the platform and waited for Mattheo, he came off the train with Astoria by his side, they are like a puzzle trying to figure out. He finally told Astoria to leave then walked over to me,
"You two are on one minute then off the next," I said
"We are never on," he grumbled, I gave him a confused face then closed my eyes and apparated. The twisting feeling of your stomach being turned is not something to get used to. I looked up and saw the Malfoy Manor in front of my eyes,
"Are you just going to stand there all night" Mattheo snarled as he walked off
"I might" I replied before walking, when he got to the entrance he knocked on the door and a house-elf came out. The house-elf saw Mattheo, and fear was in the elf's eyes. Being the rude human being he is, Mattheo pushes the elf aside and walked in. The elf stood up and when he saw me the same kind of look was on his face, fear.
"You do not need to be afraid" I smiled at him, I scrambled around my pocket for some candy I bought off the train and, a chocolate frog. "Here take this, you deserve it" I smiled again as the elf looked up at me with tears in his eyes
"No wizard or witch has ever given Hokey a piece of candy" Hokey, that's his name, exclaimed
"Well I must be going, it was lovely meeting you Hokey," I said as I bent down and hugged him, the elf sniffled as he walked away, I love elves.
I walked down the halls searching for Draco's room, once I stood in front of the door I opened it and saw Draco laying on his bed watching the ceiling. He looked up and when he saw me he jumped out of bed and ran towards me hugging me.
"What happened?" I asked, he had dark eye bags under his eyes and his skin was as pale as a ghost, it always was but now this much.
"I didn't kill him" he whispered pulling away from the hug slowly
"What? Who did?" I asked confused
"Snape did, I was a bloody coward and took too long so he did it" he started pacing back and forth
"Calm down," I said
"There's a meeting tonight" he suddenly said
"What?"
"Yes, and he's probably going to assign you a task"
"It's summer though" I exaggerated
"He does not care" he grumbled
"Did you get punished" I looked up at him
"No, but I fear if I mess up one more time I will be killed in an instant," he said dreadfully
I hate meetings, I'm not even a Death Eater. I walked down the stairs as everyone was at the table, turning their heads to look at me.
Emeralds Dress
I sat down in my usual chair and waited for the meeting to get started.
"I have news" pronounced The Dark Lord
"Harry Potter is going on a search for the Horcruxes, with that mudblood, Granger, and the blood traitor, Weasley" he snarled
"Mattheo you and Ms. Blackwood will be going on a hunt for these three imbeciles" his frown turning into a devilish smile
"Draco Malfoy will be going back to school, no punishment at the moment unless you give me a reason to kill you" he snarled
"Meeting dismissed," he said before apparating away, I stood up out of my chair and gave a death glare towards Riddle.
Why do I have to do a task with him? Why couldn't it have been Draco? All these questions and not one answer.
