"Jimin!" I yelled with a big grin on my face. I ran to the figure standing in front of me, who extended his arms waiting for me to jump into his embrace.
"Woah slow down baby," Jimin chuckled, "how are you today beautiful?" He looked at me from above, our gazes deeply locked together.
"Hella great," I giggled. "Look! I bought you some sandwiches." I held up a white plastic bag.
"Ham and cheese?" His brow wiggled.
I proudly nodded. "I made them this morning."
It's currently 10:02 am, our 30-minute-break-time just started. Jimin and I had texted each other to wait here, at the outskirt of the woods, it's still part of the school ground. We chose this place as our daily-date-location as almost no one would come to this place. Today would be our first day to occupy this place for that special purpose.
We've found an ideal area to sit at, right under a tree which was big and strong enough to keep us out of the intense sunlight.
"So," I said and took a bite from the sandwich. "How did it go?"
"The school held a quick and- Sort of confidential meeting with Wonyoung. I'm not sure if her father came or not but still he must be informed," he paused to wipe off some bread crumbs from his lips.
"Confidential? What the heck. What about me? When it was me who's accused, they literally announced it to the whole fucking school!" My complaint came out as a bunch of muffled words like someone doing a tongue twister. I coughed as I choked on my sandwich.
"Please don't die," Jimin joked and patted my back. I shot him a glare. "Seriously though, don't you think-"
"Yes I know, it's unfair but think about it, Wonyoung is from such a wealthy and strong background. I think her father even sponsored our school for a lot of things so you can actually see why the school did that."
I pouted, "cause they're dominant as fuck." I shoved the whole sandwich into my mouth.
Jimin tittered again,"yes, that's the point." He snapped his fingers. "But apparently, the school gave them two options. One is to get this written on Wonyoung's record papers then she can still stay in this school."
"Record papers?"
"Think of it as a crime record. It follows you for the rest of your life."
"Dang I never knew cheating in a test can lead to such a major issue," I shrugged, "guess I'll not consider cheating in the future then." I threw a cherry tomato into the air and caught it with my mouth- "Oh shit." -after I fell to the side.
I turned back when I felt a vibration from Jimin's chest. He laughed, "Seohyun, you really can't be serious for a day can you?"
"Nope, why? Isn't this why you fell for me though?" I sent him a teasing wink.
Jimin widened his eyes and cleared his throat. "I will just ignore the fact that you're somehow flirtier today but anyways, the other option for her is to leave our school as soon as possible. Then she won't get her cheating records down."
"Then what did they choose? Wait let me guess." I squinted my eyes and tapped my chin thinking.
"'I will continue to stay here because my daddy's business is not finished yet but! He has made a huge donation to the school so now my records are gone!'" I imitated Wonyoung's high-pitched-whiny-voice.
I elbowed Jimin waiting for a 'yes you're right'.
"Sorry baby but nope, I'm quite sure they're gonna leave. I've overheard the phone call between Wonyoung's dad and Mr. Choi and I think her dad is quite ashamed for what his daughter did. After all, her actions can give a huge impact on her dad's reputation, it can lead to questions like how he's been educating her, so, they gotta keep everything low and years later, probably no one would still remember this," Jimin explained and rolled the empty plastic bag into a ball.
I sighed after taking a sip from my water bottle, "although- To be very honest, I will miss her a bit." I put a finger in front of Jimin and emphasised, "not this ugly side of her but the Wonyoung that I spent time with during the first few days of her arrival."
Jimin nodded understanding. He smiled, "at least no one could hurt you now."
