Her mind clocked out of the heavy daydream she had, and she looked up at him, blinking quickly.

''Of course, sir. I'm sorry.'' Her sight fell over the book in front of her and her jaws clenched.

Snape flung around, storming back to the front of the class as her head lowered into her hands, attempting to flee the shaming thought she held.

''Daydreaming, are we?'' The blond chuckled from behind her. She turned in her seat to face him.

Navy and Draco had detention together three times a week for the past two weeks. Her eyes fell over the blond smirking boy as he rose a brow at her, mocking her for being caught by the professor.

She was still upset with Draco and what he said about her in the hallway, but during their time in detention together, they had been getting along pretty well.

He grasped that he was in the wrong for speaking about her in the way he did. He enjoyed spending time with Navy. He believed her to be kind and funny. She was so much more than her body, so much more than he wanted her to be.

He felt ashamed and at fault for treating her the way he'd done.

''And why do you care, Malfoy?'' She grinned back, tucking a loose lock behind her ear as she stared at him, ''I thought you didn't.''

''I don't.'' Draco leaned back in his seat, crossing his arms over his chest as he shot her a glare, ''But I enjoy making fun of you.''

''I'm sure you do.'' Navy shook her head, rolling her eyes annoyingly at the blond, ''You're the only one, then.''

His jaws gritted as his shoulders tensed, ''Don't do that.'' He snapped.

A bewildered look climbed her face as her fingers grasped against the backrest of her chair. ''Do what?''

''Don't roll your eyes at me.'' He muttered, bending forwards over his desk, and his eyes flickered to make certain that Snape wasn't paying attention to them, ''Don't ever roll those pretty eyes at me.''

''And why can't I roll my eyes at you?'' The corner of her mouth arched, and she did it again.

He sucked in a harsh breath. It took him a moment to collect himself. She provoked him. He shouldn't be into it, but he was. He adored the way she challenged him.

''You see, White...'' Draco narrowed his eyes in hers as the tension around them thickened, ''The only time I want you to roll those pretty eyes of yours is when I fuck you.''

Silence.

Navy quietly gasped at his words as her cheeks turned red. Her skin felt so heated, like her throat tightened, and it became hard to breathe.

''Do you understand?'' He tilted his head, still looking daringly at her, ''When do you roll your eyes at me?''

''I do.'' She almost held her breath at the look of him. Her mind circled back to the thought she possessed earlier, and she couldn't think her cheeks could burn more than they did now, ''I roll them at you when you fuck me.''

They hadn't slept together for weeks. Not that she wanted them to. He had to prove to her that he was sorry for what he said, and he needed to apologize before she'd ever let him close to her in that way again.

But it was hard for her. She indeed had a kind soul but an adventurous mind. She sought to find the deepest darkest depths of Draco Malfoy, and for her, it was tough to shut him out, even in an intimate way.

''Good girl.'' He rolled his tongue on the inside of his cheek. His voice was low. ''You're always such a good girl for me, aren't you?''

''Maybe.'' She rose a brow, ''But if I have to stop with the eye-rolling. You have to stop with that.''

Her head nodded towards him as he kept his tongue on the inside of his cheek, ''This?'' He did it again.

''Yes.''

''What if I don't stop?'' He grinned evilly, ''What are you going to do about it?''

Her eyes rolled again, ''If you don't stop, I won't either.''

''Enough—'' He growled in a whisper, biting down onto his lower lip. The hold that Hufflepuff had of him was unexplainable. He hated it, ''Fine. I'll stop.''

''Good boy.'' Navy's chin rose, taunting him, and just as she was about to shift around in her seat again, scared that Snape would grant her two more weeks of detention if she didn't comply, something caught her attention.

''Psst.''

The sound came from outside the open door, ''Naves.''

Her brows furrowed as she watched her brother stick his head in from behind the doorframe. His hand reached out in the air as his fingers bent. He wanted her to join him.

Navy shook her head, peering over her shoulder at Professor Snape as she mouthed, ''I can't.''

''Now,'' William whispered harshly, ''It's about Clara.''

Navy froze as she sucked her lower lip in between her teeth. She didn't know what to do. If she left, Snape would be furious with her, but at the same time, she was worried about her friend.

''May I go to the bathroom?'' Her hand stuck up in the air as Snape mumbled 'yes' without even looking at her.

She flew up from her seat, gathering her books, and she pushed them tightly to her chest. She was just on the horizon of walking out when the set of eyes began to stab through her again.

''Where are you going?'' Draco wrapped his ring-coated fingers around her wrist, eyeing the girl down, ''You can't just leave like that.''

''I just have to—'' Her words faltered, and she stared down at him wide-eyed, ''I thought you didn't care?''

The words she spoke provoked him as he frustratingly dropped her hand from his grip, ''I don't.''

Navy tried to hide her smile at his annoyed expression, ''Good.'' She spoke before rushing out of the classroom.

''Is this it?'' William gestured towards the passage the sink created, ''You just jumped down here?''

''Yes.'' Navy took a step closer to the edge of it, ''But we have to hurry because last time she closed that stone door leading into the chambers.''

''Fine.'' He still looked hesitant, ''But it's safe, right?''

''It's safe, but if you want me to go first, I will.''

''No, you won't.''

Both of the siblings winced back, and their eyes grew broad by the blond Slytherin standing behind them.

''You're not going down there again, White.'' Draco took long strides up to her, placing himself in between her and the passage, ''I don't want you to... go down there.''

Her arms crossed as William huffed, ''I thought you didn't care?'' Her eyes narrowed in his as he stood close enough for her to feel his heated breaths fan over her mouth.

''Maybe I do, maybe I don't. That doesn't matter, but this does. Don't go down there.'' He looked serious, angry even, ''I don't want you to, White.''

''You can't—'' Will rose, but Draco's piercing stare shut him up, ''Never mind...''

''If you don't want me to go with just Will, come with us.'' Navy said, and her eyes fell over him, ''It's not dangerous. I promise. She won't even know that we're there.''

Malfoy was skeptical. He was never the one doing things similar to this, but he realized that Navy had her mind set on this, and it was either let her go alone with her brother or join them.

''Fine.'' He muttered through a sigh, ''But you go first, William.''

They made their way down the drain, through the wet, darkened hallway leading them to the chambers far beneath the school.

''There.'' Navy pointed towards the door made of stone as she looked inside the chamber, and there she stood.

Her best friend was standing at the front of the pathway with the black leather book glued to her hands, and she mumbled all kinds of things to herself.

''I know, Tom. It will be. I promise.''

''No. It's not like that. I just haven't found the right person yet.''

''No, don't say that. I would love to sacrifice myself for you.''

''I don't want to lose you either.''

''I'll find someone. I promise.''

''The next time I'm down here. I'll bring someone. You have my word.''

Draco, Navy, and William were hidden behind a statue as they caught her every word. Navy couldn't help but feel bad for Clara and the way she believed them to be intruding on her privacy.

''Maybe we shouldn't be here, maybe you're right, Malfoy.'' She whispered, standing shoulder to shoulder with her brother, ''Just think about what Pansy said—''

''Didn't you just hear her?'' William snapped back, his eyes locked at the red-haired girl, ''She said she'd be sacrificing someone, Naves.''

''Maybe it's the drugs...'' Draco sarcastically whispered beside them as they both sent him an annoyed grimace, ''Fine. I'll be quiet.''

Navy couldn't help but feel Draco's hand, holding on to her lower back as he rested close to her. He didn't find any pleasure in this at all. He was scared down here, even if he'd never admit to it.

''I think we should talk to her.'' William peered down at his sister, with a curious look rising upon him, ''Maybe she can explain what's going on—''

''Absolutely not.'' Navy hewed him off in a harsh tone, ''We're not doing anything. I want to leave, William.''

''Listen to Navy,'' Draco mumbled as his face turned paler. He felt more and more frightened down here by the minute, and the hand he had on her back moved to intertwine his fingers with hers.

''No. I'll just—'' William sought to speak, ''I'll stay and you can—''

''What people?''

''There isn't anyone else down here, Tom.''

All three of them froze as Navy's fingers clenched around Draco's, feeling his rings biting into her skin.

''I told you I was cautious this time too.''

''No. I promise it isn't possible for anyone else to be down here.''

Clara's steps echoed closer, and the trio froze — they didn't know what to do.

''Fuck.'' William muttered, and without a word shared, he stepped out from behind the pillar.

Clara stopped, gawking wide-eyed at him as she lowered her book. ''William...'' She gasped, ''What are you—''

Clara's eyes scrunched together before flaying broad again. It was as if she was listening to the voice in her head.

''Is it only you here, Will?'' She asked him.

''Yes.'' He responded quickly, nervously curling his fists, ''It's just me.''

She pinched her eyes shut again.

''No, he says it's only him.''

''No, Tom. I believe him. Why would he lie to me?''

''What do you mean behind the pillar?''

William gulped at what she was whispering to herself, ''Fine.'' He raised his hands in defeat,

''Naves and Malfoy are here too.''

But Clara didn't hear them as Navy and Draco stepped up beside William.

''No, Tom. I'm not going to harm them.''

Clara's hands flew to her ears as she started to shout. The book fell to the floor, ''No. Tom. Stop, please, please, stop! I'm not killing anyone, stop, please stop,''

She kept on pleading as Navy tried to take a step closer to her friend, but Draco wrapped his arms around her as William stepped in front of them. His wand rose towards Clara.

''No, please, please.''

Clara dropped to her knees as she buried her head in her palms, and it seemed as if the voice in her head became overwhelming.

''I'm not a murderer. Please, go away, Tom! Just go away!''

Navy looked back at Draco, who stood with a startled look on his face. His hands held her a little tighter, and he pressed her spine against his chest.

''I can't kill them!''
