"No, I'm not doing that" I said
"Okay then, I guess I'm not undoing it then, the fuck?"he scoffed
"Kentrell-"
"Come and see me and I promise I'll undo it"He said
"How do I know you're even telling the truth?" I asked, I looked at Jahseh and he was staring at me
"I am telling the truth, I honestly just want to see you baby... and I know you wanna see me too"

I heard him sigh deeply "fuck, I'm sorry I just really miss you...please come and see me and promise I'll undo it..."

Around 5 minutes later I saw Liah walking towards me and putting her phone in her back pocket.
"what did you say to him?"
"I asked him about the ritual and if he could undo it, that's it"
"You were talking to him for a while Liah, what else did you say to him?"
"Nothing Jahseh...that's all I asked him, he started to talk about other stuff but I wasn't paying attention to him"
"About?"
"Just about how he missed me and stuff like that" I shrugged

Liah and I got home around 30 minutes ago. She went straight to the bedroom because she was tired.
I hate how this situation is affecting Liah, even though she claims to be okay...I know she's not.
I sighed deeply and turned off the TV. I got up off the couch and walked in our room. I walked in the room to check on her and saw that she was under the covers. I climbed on the bed and laid next to her.

I rolled over feeling the space next to me empty. My eyes literally popped opened, I quickly sat up.
"LIAH, YOU IN THE BATHROOM?" I yelled

I threw the covers off me and walked in the bathroom. I ran out the bathroom and checked around.
I searched the whole apartment..she wasn't here. "no no no no no...FUCK"I quickly grabbed my phone off the coffee table, calling Liah's phone.
"Hello.."she said
"Where are you Liah?!" I yelled
She sighed deeply "I'm sorry I left without telling you...but I'm fine you don't have to worry-"
"You left? why would you do that Liah?!"
"Just know I'm okay"she mumbled
"Liah, where are you? I'll come get you right now-"
"I took your car Jahseh"she sighed
"What? to go where?"I was really confused at this point.
"To um visit my mom"she said
"Why didn't you wake me up, I could've taken you"

I scratched the bridge of my nose and sighed "How late?"I asked

"THATS 6 HOURS FROM NOW!"
"I know but we do have a lot of catching up to do ya know?"she said, her voice sounded happy but it was shaky at the same time

"Kentrell could have somebody watching you right now and you gon' tell me not to worry?" I questioned her

I heard 3 dull beeps indicating she hung up.

I chuckled softly "yeah I remember that...we was some fast ass little girls girls growing up"
Deborah nodded, while laughing "yes, we were..."
I looked at my phone seeing that it was vibrating.
"Hello?"I answered
"Toya? is Deborah with you?"Jahseh said
"uh yeah why wassup?" I asked
"Liah with y'all? she said she was coming to visit her mom"
"Nah, she's not here...unless she's on the way"
"I highly doubt that...I knew she was lying to me"Jahseh mumbled
"What's going on Jahseh? Is she missing again?"
"I got it under control Toya..."he then ended the call
Deborah frowned "what's wrong?"
"I honestly don't know"I shrugged, I called him again but he didn't answer
"Jahseh said Liah was suppose to be over here I don't know...he didn't say much" I added
"Call her"Deborah suggested
I nodded and went to Liah's contact. My call was immediately forwarded to voicemail.
"She didn't answer"I said
"Maybe she's on the way now.."Deborah nodded
"Yeah maybe..we'll see"I said

I just remembered something, once Liah was back in Florida I took her phone and shared her location with me....I hope it's still on.
I quickly went to checked her location and saw that she was on...Florida's Turnpike?
"where the hell is she going?"I exited out of the location and called her
She answered just before I was about to hang up. "Jahseh I told you I'm fine-"
"why are you on Florida's Turnpike? That's a long ass road and it's too much traffic for you, where are you going?" I asked
"I'm not on-"
"Stop, stop lying to me...what are you lying for huh? you don't gotta lie to me Liah just tell me where you're- wait a minute....Liah are you, are you going to see..K-Kentrell...is that what he was saying to you on the phone?"
"What no, I just needed to get some fresh air..."
"So first you were visiting you're aunt and now you're just getting first air..stop lying and tell me-"
She cut me off by hanging up the phone. I shook my head and scoffed "This can't be happening bruh...ain't no way she's going to see him"I refuse to believe that she's going to see a man who abused her physically, mentally, sexually and emotionally.

Liah pov
It's been an hour since I spoke to Jahseh. I know I shouldn't have hung up on him but I honestly didn't know what else to say or do.
For the past 10 minutes I've been sitting in the car, parked in front of Bradford county prison. I shouldn't have came here alone but I really just want him to undo whatever the fuck he did to me.
I opened the car door and got out. I walked towards the entrance door and opened it, immediately seeing someone standing there.
"can I help you?"she asked
"I'm visiting someone" I said
"ID please?"she asked
I reached in my wallet and gave her my ID. She looked at it and asked "who are you here to see?"
"Kentrell DeSean Gaulden.." I said, she glanced at me smiling, handing me back my ID she said "Oh yes, he just added you to his visiting list...do you have anything else on you other than your wallet?"she asked

"Okay, please take off any jewelry that you may have on and place it inside here"she said before taking out a small plastic bag..I looked at my promise ring Jahseh gave me and slowly slipped it off placing it in the bag along with my wallet.
"Alright, step through the metal detector"I step through and it made a 'ding' sound.

I then got a text, I quickly looked at my phone and saw she texted me.

She nodded while grabbing her phone off the couch. I flipped through the channels trying to find something to watch. She exhaled and walked to the bedroom.
