Harry woke up with the heaviness of Draco's chest pressed into the side of his body. Their legs were intertwined, Dracos arm slumped across his stomach and his mouth was open slightly, breathing onto Harry's neck.

"Draco" Harry whispered, creasing his head back as much as he could to get a better view of him. "Draco wake up, I need you to move over" Harry was trying to edge his way out from underneath him with no success, the right half of his body trapped. Draco muttered slightly, his eyes flickering and squinting at the early morning sun blazing through the curtains

Harry had snuck into Dracos' room the night before under his cloak using their secret knock. Despite having their own private bedrooms now, it was still risky spending time with one another in the common room as there were so many students around outside. Plus, the Gryffindor's' were all well aware of Harry's invisibility cloak, so any doors opening and closing with no body passing through was fairly obvious to them. Harry had snuck out in the middle of the night once everyone was asleep, but sneaking back in the busy morning before breakfast was a little trickier

"Good Morning" Harry leaned in planting a kiss on his forehead and Draco shifted awake, smiling lazily "Sleep well?"

"Mmmm very well" Draco answered, sliding his hands across Harry's chest, caressing his torso and feeling up his arm smiling to himself at the treasure that lay in front of him. "Thanks for sneaking in last night, that was a nice surprise"

"Anytime" Harry replied, smirking to himself and admiring Draco's bed hair, his features so soft in the morning light

"It would've been better If you'd pre-warned me though, maybe I'd have been more awake" Draco mumbled into Harry's chest

"Yes, I didn't really consider that" Harry said crooking his head to look down Draco who was smiling sweetly, while laying across him  "Even though we only got to kissing before you crashed out on the pillow, I'm just happy to be here with you"

Draco rubbed his eyes and nodded in agreement "You're always welcome here, and I promise we'll go to the room of requirement this week and maybe have a little more fun?" he said, cocking an eyebrow with anticipation

"You know what I would love..." Harry began teasingly "if you could kindly MOVE YOUR ARSE AND GET OFF ME" he yelled

Draco stared for a moment with a menacing smile on his face "Make me"

"I can't feel my bloody arm, you tosser. You've crushed it!" Harry moaned jokingly, jabbing Draco in his ribs playfully causing him to laugh out loud and shift over

"You know if your arm goes numb and you touch yourself then it feels like-"

"Alright, you horny bastard!" Harry laughed. Draco grinned and rolled back, allowing Harry to escape from underneath him. Harry rubbed the sore areas and climbed on top of Draco, planting kisses down his neck and across his collarbone. Draco closed his eyes at his touch and felt himself melting at the arousal of Harry being on top of him. Harry finished his kissing and wiped his lips, pushing himself up above Draco.

"I just wish I didn't have to sneak around so much. I mean, I know why we're keeping it a secret and I'm glad we are but, Merlin, sometimes I just want to snog your face off when you're sitting in the common room. You looked so bloody sexy by the firelight last night"

"Well... why don't I join you for breakfast this morning then?" Draco asked. Harry looked at him like he was absurd

"Really? You don't think that would be a bit odd?" Harry rolled back over so they were laying side by side on the bed, staring at the ceiling

"Not really. We're all mingling every night in the common room now anyway why would breakfast be any different?" Draco said plainly

"My friends are still quite weird around you, Draco. They've never really cozied up to the idea of you being friendly toward them"

"Well, I plan on making an effort with them anyway. Besides, Blaise is so relaxed he will probably be half asleep and Pansy would talk anyone's ear off regardless of who they are, the other day she spent thirty minutes talking to Filch about what clothing he should wear to flatter his figure. I think he walked away just a clueless to begin with but he was just happy to have someone make conversation with him" Draco sniggered at the memory and Harry laughed at the thought

"Fine. Meet me at breakfast in thirty minutes" Harry said, pushing off of Draco's bed to gather his clothes and his cloak. Holding everything in his arms he turned to look at Draco who was laying in the sheets lazily, shirtless with a smirk. His chest exposed from the covers, one arm laying above him on the pillow accentuating his toned bicep. His hair was a total mess from the excessive make out session the night before. Harry stared for a moment, admiring the gorgeousness laying in front of him, mouth gaping open very slightly and heat filling his pants.

Draco Malfoy shirtless in bed, why am I walking away from this?

"make that forty minutes" he said dropping his clothes and diving back to the bed on top of Draco, his lips crashing against his skin, planting hot kisses all over his chest and caressing his body under his hands

"Mind if we join you?" Pansy called from above the trio as they sat at their usual bench in the great hall, plating up their breakfast. Harry felt clammy with nerves at Draco being so close around him and his friends, knowing what he knew. Ron raised his head slowly, with a bewildered expression, he looked across to Harry then back to the Slytherins. Pansy didn't bother waiting for an answer as she confidently climbed into the seat while Blaise stood behind her waiting for someone to speak. Draco came around the other side, smiling awkwardly, eyeing up Harry for some reassurance.

"Yeah... sure, of course, why not" Harry stuttered. Draco sent him a confused look at why he was so unsure when they'd agreed this less than an hour ago

Hermione shot Ron and Harry a glance to gauge their feelings before swallowing her food and smiling, turning to Pansy who had taken a seat next to her

"How are you, Pansy?" She asked kindly

"I'm great thanks, Hermione" Pansy answered boldly, pouring herself a drink completely unfazed by the awkwardness around her "I finished my Divination essay last night by the way, thanks for your help" she smiled

"You helped her with an essay?" Ron blurted out, confused as to when they suddenly started spending time together

Hermione shot a look at him and lowered her voice sternly "Yes Ron, as a matter of fact I did. We got talking the other week in the common room didn't we Pansy?" she looked at her and received a nod in return "She told me she was struggling and I offered to help, It's no big deal, alright?"

Harry eyed up this exchange and inhaled preparing himself for in interesting morning

"Excited for the quidditch match tomorrow?" he dug into his breakfast, playing it casual. Ron looked at Harry, still feeling confused by the sudden friendship with the Slytherins' that he was clearly unaware of

"Of course! Hufflepuff don't stand a chance" Blaise laughed, reaching for the bacon

"Yeah, Michael's a great captain but his team this year haven't quite mastered their tactics" Harry agreed, he glanced across to Draco, giving him wide eyes telling him to say something

"Oh... yeah I agree too, Hufflepuff seem to be struggling with their defence at the moment so it'll be an easy game" Draco stammered, trying to ease his way in. Blaise nodded chewing on his food, Pansy rolled her eyes and Ron continued to give him a face of disgust. Harry nudged Ron's arm encouraging him to be nice

"Erm... sorry, why are you all here?" Ron spat, dropping his fork and glaring at them. Draco felt his chest drop at the sudden confrontation. He didn't want to upset Harry or his friends

"Ron!" Hermione gasped, shooting him a look

"Sweetie, it's fine" Pansy assured, giving Hermione a gentle nudge and smiling before turning to Ron "Hi Ron, we met the other night in the common room? I shared the last of my fizzing candy with you, remember? Listen honey, I don't know what past quarrels you've had with these two here but I can assure you were not here to cause any trouble. We're all making friends this year right? So you better get used to us being around more often. Hermione here is an absolute doll, you're a very lucky guy" she winked "and Harry, well you're the Chosen One, who wouldn't want to hitch a ride on your popularity" She grinned at him as his face dropped to a frown "I'm joking! Relax, there's no bad blood between us anymore and definitely no stupid house competitiveness either, what a load of rubbish that was!" she rolled her eyes and laughed, taking a swig of her tea. Ron sank back into the seat

"I'm glad we're all coming together now, it's long overdue. The competition between houses before started to get a little unhealthy in my opinion" Hermione said

"I'm fine with everyone getting all chummy for a change, but did you really have to join us for breakfast?" Ron moaned, angrily forking his food

"Ron, mate, it's cool okay? We see them in class almost every day, we share a common room now, what's the big deal?" Harry brushed a hand through his ragged morning hair tilting a smile at the others

"Sorry I'm not good at being friends with utter arseholes" Ron bit, giving a side eye to Draco who was uncomfortably looking down at his plate

"This was a bad idea, come on Pans, Blaise, let's leave them be" Draco murmured but Harry looked across to Hermione and saw that this time Ron was outnumbered

"No, please stay. Ron's just being funny" Hermione glared across at him and kicked him under the table, he flinched and sulked into this breakfast, snarling at everything

"So, I worked my magic, not literally, on Professor Slughorn yesterday and convinced him to extend the deadline for our potions essay this week" Pansy gave a proud smile looking across the group

"Brilliant!" Harry perked up "I haven't even started it yet" he grimaced

Hermione rolled her eyes at him and turned back to Pansy, sipping her drink "You're a star Pansy really. I'm over half way through but I still need more time to search the library and I've got such a busy week planned"

"We have an essay to write?" Blaise asked wearily, waking up from his breakfast. Pansy stroked his hand and gave a pitiful smile

Hermione brushed a look over to Harry who was smiling to himself. He would talk to Ron after they'd eaten but beside that he was pleased with how comfortable everyone else looked together, and thrilled that Hermione and Pansy had already spent some time together

Hermione cleared her throat and sat up slightly "So, Draco, Harry, how are you both finding your quidditch practice?" There was a silence in the air as the two boys shared a look, treading their words carefully. Pansy looked up, she was also curious about their meet ups. Ron glared at him, still annoyed about their present company. The only training they'd done the last six weeks was practicing making out and sharing beds while half naked

"Erm, yeah.. It's good" Harry answered awkwardly, egging Draco on with his eyes to speak

"Yes! Yes... good. We, er... we practiced speed runs and-" Draco began

"You know Harry doesn't need to practice, he's miles better than anyone in this school, especially you" Ron spat

"Don't you think I know that? He's the best seeker I've ever seen, he keeps getting better and better every time" Draco responded, meeting Ron's icy stare

"So why are you dragging him down to the pitch every week? You're never going to improve are you?" Ron asked

"Ron, don't be harsh" Hermione jabbed at him. Pansy raised an eyebrow and looked up from her tea to the tension rising in front of her

"Because I love flying Ron, is there something wrong with that?" Harry cut in sharply "It's not like you ever offer to join me on the pitch, I need someone to play with, might as well be Draco at least he wants to be there and he's good at it"

Ron shrugged and returned to his food, he felt eyes glaring on him from across the table and whispered a "Sorry" in Draco's direction. Hermione gave Draco a sympathising smile, embarrassed by Ron's outburst

"Draco you don't give yourself enough credit, you're fantastic on your broom" Harry smiled, sipping his coffee

"Thanks, I'm still not very confident though" Draco blushed

"Well, I'll have to work you a little harder" Harry said coyly, smiling inside. He knew what he was doing

"Umm, yeah. Maybe we could practice this week some time?" Draco asked shifting uncomfortably in his seat, feeling nervous about making arrangements aloud in front of everyone, convinced they would see right through him

"Sure" Harry said casually "If you want to really do it right, I'll let you ride on my broomstick instead"

Simultaneously, Draco's eyes shot open, Pansy sprayed her tea everywhere, Ron's head slowly turned to face him truly disturbed, Hermione choked on her toast and Blaise dropped his spoon. There was a moment of shocked silence at Harry's boldness

Harry chortled at their reaction "What? Did I say something?"

Draco looked mortified at his confidence, was he really risking exposing them so soon? He met Harry's eyes and saw the laughter and decided to play along

"Calm down Potter, I know I'm irresistible but I think I'll stick to my own broomstick, thanks" Draco replied, breaking the tension with a snarky grin

"Draco's got a lot of practice using his own broomstick" Pansy winked, nudging Hermione with a laugh. Draco gave her a playful slap on the arm

"Bloody hell" Ron muttered under his breath. Hermione held her breath at the abrupt change in topic and shot Harry a scared look. She cleared her throat

"Well, anyway, I'm glad that you two have found something to bond over at last, I for one don't think I could have handled another year of bitterness

"Our boys are growing up!" Pansy beamed, clasping her hands together in excitement. Draco gave an unamused look and she twisted her face in return, poking out her tongue for fun. "Anyway, I need to run. I've got an exciting date with the library this morning, don't get too jealous guys"

"Oh, I'll join you Pansy. I'm meeting Heather there soon anyway" Hermione added. She wiped her mouth on the napkin then climbed out of the seat and joined Pansy in leaving the hall, who swiped a piece of toast from the table during her exit

"See you all later!" Pansy called, waving behind herself "Enjoy Harry's broomstick, Draco!"

"Piss off, Pansy!" Draco smiled back playfully

"I think I'm done too" Ron said, shoving his knife and fork onto the empty plate and taking one last swig of juice "Harry, are you gonna join me?"

"Erm, sure. Where are we going?" Harry asked, cupping his mug of coffee between his palms

There was a brief pause while Ron came up with an excuse to leave "Out"

"Oh yeah alright, great" He necked the rest of his drink and gave an apologetic smile Draco's way, feeling bad for leaving so soon "Catch you guys later on then" he said

"See ya" Blaise was slowly chewing through his toast, his cheeks full as he gave a quick wave while his dreary gaze remained on his plate. Draco could never tell when Blaise was actually paying attention and when he was away with the fairies, he was the definition of breezy.

They sat in silence finishing their breakfast. The hall was bustling with excitement for the Hufflepuff vs Ravenclaw match later on that day, the hall filled with coloured jerseys and flags. Draco pushed away his plate, half eaten and Blaise looked up at him.

"I think you still have some work to do, mate. Weasley still seems very hostile if you ask me"

"Ugh, I know. I need to have a proper talk with him. Though I know he won't listen to a word of it, I suppose the damage is too much to work past things, I don't blame him really" Draco said dropping his face into his hands and shaking his head

How am I suppose to get closer to Harry Potter when his best friend in the entire world hates my guts?

"All you can do is try. Pull him to one side, somewhere he can't make an excuse to leave, somewhere that isn't public. You don't want him thinking you're apologising for attention" Blaise advised, pouring himself a drink

"He literally hates my guts and he has every single reason to hate my guts, it feels hopeless" Draco moaned

"Well, Granger seemed a little more friendly. Don't get me wrong, you still owe her an apology too, but I reckon with her by Ron's side she'll at least give you more of an opportunity to speak. I imagine she'll be the voice of reason"

"You're right, Blaise. I'll speak to them both together. I suppose I can only do my best, I am being genuine after all, it's not up to me how they respond" Draco considered, twisting his mouth with his thoughts

He owed them an apology, he knew that much. Even though it felt completely useless trying to get Ron to buddy up with him, it was important to Harry and that meant it was important to him. It was at this moment he realised how all he ever wanted to do now was make Harry happy, these feelings inside of him were getting stronger every day. The thought made Draco's chest flutter at the idea of things getting serious with Harry, he was thinking of him as a boyfriend now, and that was both exciting and terrifying.

Wait... Boyfriend? I want Harry Potter as... my boyfriend? He considered this new idea for a second

Yes, I think I do

______________________________

That afternoon, after the quidditch game, Draco kept an eye on Ron and Hermione as they exited the stands and made their way back to the castle. He knew this would be a prime opportunity to pull them to one side and have a talk with them, he just needed to make the move

Passing through the high topped trees on the outskirts of the forest, he saw them walking ahead of him and sped up to fall in line. Thankfully, it was just the two of them, making it easier to initiate the conversation.

"Ron, Hermione" Draco called from a few feet behind "Can I talk to you both, please? In private" They shared a puzzled look, Ron rolled his eyes knowing he'd already maxed out his Draco tolerance for the day at breakfast, but they knew this would eventually happen anyway

"Fine" Ron huffed. They followed him off the path to the side, across into the trees where the distant chatter and excitement from students leaving the match went quiet in the distance. They stopped beside a large pine tree, taking seats on the logs that lay across the mossy ground

Draco sat silently for a moment, trying to figure out how to start this conversation and wishing he'd rehearsed something earlier

"Well...?" Ron grumbled. Hermione sat beside him with her hands clasped on her lap and a look of concern

"Well, I just wanted to speak to you two properly and well, basically... apologise... for everything" Draco said, feeling like prey about to be slaughtered

"Apologise for what exactly?" Hermione asked, her tone was softer than Ron's, but she still held a general dislike toward Draco

"Everything. The horrible names I called you both, the teasing, the spiteful things I said and did. I just wanted you both to know I really am so sorry, from the bottom of my heart"

Neither Ron nor Hermione were quite sure what to make of it all. He seemed very genuine, but breaking that shell from years of abuse was difficult to overcome

"You called Hermione a Mudblood, a lot. Do you realise how malicious that is?" Ron spat, his face full of disgust

"I know, I really do and Hermione I can't apologise enough for using that name and speaking down to you. I was raised with some very backward views from my father and that's not an excuse, I just... well, I don't know what I was thinking really. I was immature, disrespectful and downright nasty and I'm filled with regret every day from the things I've done" Draco broke off, shaking his head with shame, unable to look at the disappointment on their faces

Hermione took a long slow breath, observing the crumbling man sat in front of her, studying his intentions and his words.

"Malfoy... what's changed? Why the sudden switch to being civil and friendly when a year ago you walked into Voldemorts army"

Draco felt sick with guilt at the memory of the death eaters. The courage it took to return to the school this year surrounded by people who hated him wasn't easy

"The war changed me. Look, I was young and easily influenced. As a child who got everything he wanted, from a wealthy family with a high status, I was conditioned to think a certain way, to look down on others. Merlin, I wasted so many years trying to please my father and ended up losing my childhood instead. Like I said, It's not an excuse at all, I take full responsibility for everything I ever said and did, I just realised how much of a coward my father was. I wasn't on their side, I never wanted to be. I was dragged to the death eaters and told I'd be killed if I turned against them-"

"and now you've had time to reflect" Hermione cut in, looking a Draco with deep understanding, feeling his pain. He nodded to the ground and took a shaky breath, continuing his speech

"I always wanted you guys to win, to destroy Voldemort. Being around him was worse than hell itself, all of the worlds pure evil piled into one being, I couldn't see a point to life with him still being around" He tugged his jumper down over his wrists "I know I was the most vile person back then, I just wanted you to know I'm not that person anymore. Hermione you really are the brightest witch I've ever seen, you're talented and beautiful and so pure."

Hermione gave a soft smile, warming to his words. She saw the genuine remorse in his voice, his face. She was ready to forgive and move on

"Ron, where do I even begin? I'm jealous of you and your wonderful family. A family who loves you and treasures you and shows you what it really means to have one another. You have the most amazing group of friends, you're fantastic at quidditch and unbeatable at wizards chess. I know you get overlooked sometimes but you really are brilliant." Draco continued

Ron's stony scowl twisted to a half smile, unable to hide the pride from the compliments he was receiving, he wasn't used to them

"Your family hold real values, values that actually mean something in this world. It's not about your wealth, your clothes or your possessions. You really are very lucky to be surrounded by people who love you, and I'm so sorry for the awful things I said before, for being-"

"A complete and utter tosser" Ron added

"Yes, that" Draco confirmed, huffing a small laugh

"I'm not looking to be best friends, we don't even have to be close. I would just really like us to be civil, just this last year that we spend together. You don't even have to forgive me, I know I'm gone way past deserving forgiveness, I just... I just needed to let you know how I feel now. My intentions going forward are only kind and respectful"

There was a calm silence as Hermione and Ron took in everything Draco had said. The chatter of students in the distance had vanished now and they sat alone in the outskirts of the forest, humungous trees towering above, blocking out most of the sunlight. It was tranquil, birds chirped above them and leaves rustled lazily

"I'll never forget how big of an arse you were" Ron said eventually. Draco nodded, his eyes fixed on the floor "I suppose, if you really do mean everything you say... we can be civil"

"I agree. Your apology does seem very sincere" Hermione added, offering a sweet smile "I suppose we will see you in the common room anyway, so... If you'd like to join us occasionally, that wouldn't be the worst thing"

"You have a lot of making up to do though. I think I need a bit more than just a 'Sorry', Malfoy"

Hermione nodded. "I agree. You need to understand that it was years and years of hate from you, it's difficult to simply switch that feeling off just from you saying you're sorry once"

"I understand. I don't expect you to want to be around me at all, I just... had to let you know" Draco cowered

Ron and Hermione shared a look, reading each others thoughts and knowing they were on the same wavelength

"Let's just say for now, we all be civil, you keep to your word, Malfoy, and you allow us some time to accept your full apology" Hermione laid out the terms for him

"That's more than I thought you'd give me anyway" Draco smiled "I expected another punch before we even sat down together"

"I also still have permission to punch you at any given moment that you step a toe out of line" Hermione added, eyeing him sternly and pointing a finger at him

"Absolutely" Draco nodded

"Fine" Ron huffed, getting up from the uncomfortable log and stretching his back "Even I have to admit, I have noticed a change in the way you speak to everyone and you are a lot nicer now" he said reluctantly "Just give us some breakfasts alone, please? I can only tolerate your smug face so many times a day"

"Ron..." Hermione growled but Draco laughed with him

"Consider this smug face officially gone"

"Good, cause I won't hesitate to punch you either" Ron teased "I also haven't forgotten that you made me sit down on the most uncomfortable log in the middle of a bloody freezing forest. You owe us for that. I expect much higher quality seating next time you want to talk to me"

They three of them shared a smile and Draco felt a warmth in his chest at the ease of the conversation, knowing it could've gone so much worse. They picked themselves up from the logs and began walking through the tree line back to the grassy path.

Hermione turned back to Draco with curiosity

"So, I take it you've had this conversation with Harry too then?" she asked

Draco nodded

"and he took it well?"

"He seemed to. He said the war put the small things into perspective and he wasn't holding onto things from the past anymore. He accepted my apology and agreed to stay friends this year" Draco mentioned, actively avoiding the part about sucking face and undressing one another with rock hard erections and the steamy sex dreams

"Hmm" Hermione thought to herself. Considering Harry hated Malfoy the most out of all of them and yet now they they're good friends, in such a short space of time too. She felt it was curious, but decided to keep that suspicion to herself.

The returned to the castle together making pleasant conversation about the quidditch game, Draco enjoying having at least one thing to bond with them over. They went their separate ways at the front door, Hermione and Ron continuing up the stairs to the common room

"You believe everything he said back then?" Ron asked

"You know what, I think I do actually. Since we returned he's been so different, like he really has grown up and changed. I'm ready to give him a chance" Hermione said

"I hate to say it, but I believe him too"

______________________________________

The following day, Draco was alone making his way to Divination when he was suddenly yanked by his collar into a nearby broom closet. It was Harry, sporting a mischievous grin.

"Merlin, Harry! You scared the shit out of me!" Draco yelled, finding his bearings at the abrupt change of scenery

Harry laughed and slammed the door shut behind them, jumping onto Draco. He grabbed his arms and pushed him back against the brickwork, pinning him there. Draco winced at the falling dust and cobwebs but instantly forgot as Harry's lips met his own in a forceful kiss. Their teeth bashing together at first until they found their rhythm, Harry sucking and biting on Draco's bottom lip, kissing up his jawline and nuzzling into his neck which made Draco weak at the knees. He let a soft moan escape and tried to catch his breath, speaking between Harry's kisses

"What's... this... for?" Draco breathed heavily, shutting his eyes and tilting his head back against the wall in pleasure

"Mmmm" Harry moaned into his neck, wet with saliva and kisses, his hot breath making him sweaty "You're fucking gorgeous"

"Ohhh Harry... mmmm yes... right there" Draco mumbled, his back against the wall feeling Harry's hot, excited body pressed against him tight. His mane of brunette hair smothering the side of his face as Harry devoured his sweet spot, he inhaled Harry's mango scent and smiled

"I want you... so badly..." Harry begged, Draco was almost falling apart in his arms, buckling his knees with pleasure and his growing hardness pressing into his stomach

"Fuck... where did this come from?" Draco moaned between kisses "We're going to... be late to class"

"Forget class" Harry laughed, pulling away from Draco's neck and sliding his hands up to his hair, gripping him hard and forcing his lips onto his own. Draco moaned beneath their kiss and managed to pull to one side

"I can't miss class, Harry. I'm due to turn in my report today" Draco said, looking disappointed at having the break up this amazing encounter

"Ughhhhh you're just-"

*kiss*

"So-"

*kiss*

"Bloody sexy, I-"

*kiss*

"can't wait to undress you fully"

*kiss*

Harry broke away and bit his lip, his face aching with arousal, failing to cover the huge hard on in his trousers, his eyes filled with desire. Draco gulped at Harry's words, his mouth open slightly at the thought of Harry touching him everywhere.

"So when would you like to-"

"Leave it with me. I've got something planned" Harry answered with a cunning smile. His chest was still rising and falling gently from the attack on Draco's neck and he slowly moved back to him, this time sliding his fingers around the side of his platinum hair and pulled him into his kiss. He held Draco softly, sliding one hand through his hair onto the back of head, holding him close to him. He pressed against his pursed lips softly and allowed his breathing to shallow, no hesitation, no hurrying, neither wet nor dry, held in a close embrace.

Harry stepped back and gave a weary smile, exhausted from the sudden outburst of excitement. He held Draco at arm's length and looked into his shining eyes, filled with lust

"That was me saying thank you" Harry said warmly, brushing the hair out of Draco's eyes and tilting his head to admire him

"Thank you? For what?" Draco asked puzzled, furrowing his brow

"For making the effort with my best friends. For apologising to them and being kind. They told me what you did"

Draco blushed slightly, unsure of what to respond

"Honestly Draco, you don't understand how much that means to me" Harry pulled him into a hug and inhaled sweetly, closing his eyes. They stood together for several moments before Harry stepped back allowing Draco the room to breath

"You don't need to thank me. You've already done so much for me Harry. I just want to see you happy and that includes keeping the peace with Ron and Hermione." Draco said softly

"Well, you've earned yourself some extra loving this week" Harry smirked, raising an eyebrow. Draco cocked his head with intrigue and leaned in. He loved when Harry was playful. He somehow became ten times sexier when he teased and joked around.

"I wish we didn't have to leave here. Well, I wish we could leave here and go somewhere nicer with a bed or something but still, I wish we didn't have to go to class" Draco slumped, pouting with sadness

"Ugh I know, but I'll see you after dinner? Besides, now that things went smoothly with my friends we can casually spend more time together in the common room" Harry said

"That'll just make me want to climb on top of you even more!" Draco wined

"It'll be great, trust me" Harry assured, leaning in for one last soft peck on Draco's lips "Thank you, again, for making the effort and for just being really, really great"

Draco laughed "It's fine! Now come on lets go" he grinned, giving Harry a gentle tap on the bum to get him moving. Harry creaked the door open slightly to check the corridor was empty before slowly sliding out and making his way to the Divination staircase. Seconds later, Draco emerged looking both ways down the hall and listening out for any sounds. He crept out quietly and continued on down the halls, smiling to himself, helplessly falling harder for the Gryffindor each day. He was completely unaware of the figure that slipped away from the far corner silently.
