Koyuki was standing straight, not getting prepared to dash to the finish line.

'I already know what the first obstacle is. So I should make this a bit easy on myself, Everyone will be so busy trying to get through the tunnel, they won't notice me,' Koyuki thought
Once she heard the gun shot, she saw Mei rush through the crowd using her Lawmakers to dash through at lightning speed.
'Clever Mei-Senpai...' she thought
Koyuki summoned a portal for herself as she saw everyone in front of her getting pushed around.
She reappeared at the front a few feet away from Todoroki. Todoroki wasn't shocked that she had gotten in front of him.
She looked back and winked at him before taking off.
'Nova... you little-' he thought before taking off after her.
Suddenly, Koyuki heard the creaking of metal and two large robots appeared in front of her.
"Are those the robots from the practical exam?!" Kaminari yelled
Koyuki chuckled and prepared to attack. Hopping through a portal behind the robot.
"Hey she just took out the robots for us!!" a student yelled
Koyuki chuckled before running away to the next stage.
The smoke around the robot cleared to show it tipping over to where the students were.
"Sayonara!!" Koyuki yelled taking off

Koyuki saw the pit ahead and saw some rope that leads to the other side. Koyuki smirked,
'I know just what to do!!' she thought
Koyuki leaped forward into the air, she fell a bit before she was stopped by one of her platforms beneath her feet.
She began to dash forward, her feet clinking against each platform she made. The ones behind her disappearing as she went forwards.
"𝐊𝐨𝐲𝐮𝐤𝐢 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬! 𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐥𝐞!!"

She then saw Mei standing there, she looked ready to strike.
Koyuki took a second to analyze the situation, making a plan that can ensure her win. Or at least ensure 2nd place...
She knew what Mei was doing, so she decided to let her do her thing while she waited for her entertainment.
'Let's see... walking through the mines are too risky. Even if I use my platforms... I need the least risky way to get across the field and to the finish line...' she thought
She thought for a second before it came to her.

So Nova is already on the last stage?
That's not really surprising knowing her. She has as much skill and strength as a pro hero, maybe even better

This was after the news of Koyuki reuniting with her mother, after she had been officially found. It had been all of the news stations. After I had visited her at the hospital.

"Yes Father?" I asked already annoyed at his presence.
"So I heard about your new classmate. Ms. Kaslana was it? I've seen you with her before," he said
"What about her?" I asked
"I've had some unfinished business with her Mother. Murata Himeko, the Vermillion Knight. I have seen that girl's potential and power, and I wish to negotiate with her and her mother fora Quirk Marriage," he said
I was gritted my teeth.
I already knew that her Quirk couldn't be passed down by genetics and she would want that... she's already gone through so much... this would add to it.
My mother had already been through such pain in her Quirk Marriage. I'm not allowing her to go through the same.
"Do you think she'll agree to that, actually do you think her mother will agree to it? Her mother cares for her more than anything. If she rejected your offer once, she'll do it again." I said
"If I force her too, then everything will go according to plan. If you don't beat her in the Sports festival, I will take her life. I've heard what happened at the USJ, she is a dangerous being, she's able to rival my power." he laughed walking away from me.
I was frozen in shock at that moment.
He's envious of her being a Lawmaker... he wants her power, maybe that's what the Overseer wanted, Power.
Power to intimidated and control people because of authority.
"She's helped mentally and physically, more than you ever could... She will not bow down to you. Not even if you forced her to..." I retorted back at him.
He narrowed his eyes at me.
"She's made you soft, Shoto." he said before sending me back to training.
As much as I wanted to scream at him at the top of my lungs, I couldn't, or he might follow through on his offer early.
So I had to bite my tongue before I did anything to provoke him.

Nova's already gone through enough pain...

Unfortunately, just as I was half-way across the mine field. I saw a flash of violet hair rush past me at lightning speed, setting off the nearby mines.
Then blonde hair was next to me, yelling at the person with violet hair.
It was Bakugo.
"YOU BASTARD!! DON'T DECLARE WAR ON THE WRONG FUCKING PERSON!!" he yelled as I dodged one of his explosions.
As we ran we exchanged blows, attempting to get one up on the other person.
Both of us paused when we heard a huge explosion behind us.
I watched as I saw Nova soaring through the sky on a large scarlet pink platform with a terrified Midoriya next to her.
"Weeeeeeeeee!!!!" Nova exclaimed with excitement.
I immediately created a path of ice to get in front of Bakugo.
I charged forward to catch up to Midoriya and Nova. Not worrying about what was behind me, I just needed to pass them.
Suddenly, Nova used the platform she was standing on to propel herself forward. Taking the lead again.
"YOU AND DEKU WON'T GET AWAY WITH THIS YOU MARSHMALLOW!!!" Bakugo yelled
"Fuck you Kacchan!" Midoriya and Nova yelled
Nova finished second and Midoriya finished third. Mei had finished before them. I came in right after them and finished in fourth.
I could see my father in the crowd, looking disappointed at me but I could tell he was ecstatic. He's waiting for her to be alone so he could force her into a deal with him...
But Nova is strong, she's capable. She can protect herself.
So why am I so concerned?
Still... even if she can handle herself, I won't allow my father to get near her.
I have to protect her. She did the same for me so many times...
I looked at Nova who was celebrating her victory with Midoriya and Mei, who looked happy. Happier than when I first met her.
She was now able to be honest with her friends. I was glad for her.
'Don't worry Nova... I will not allow him to bring any harm to you. I will not let your smile fade... gave gave me the gift of faith and protection. Now it's my turn to return the favor...' I thought
You're one of the most important people in my life... If they ever harm you... I might just go crazy...
