It's the end of the day and I get home. However my house is surrounded by cops and there's a lot of police tape as if a crime took place
Kaoru: what in the hell....
I take a closer look and see father getting taken in by the cops and a beaten up Yuzuki standing by grandma. I go to the two looking very confused
Kaoru: so what happened here?
Iris: your father got what he deserved
Kaoru: really? Uhm-...I'm gonna need more details. And why does Yuzuki look so bruised up?
Iris: let's just say she finally got a taste of the hell you've been through, and as much as she deserves it, at least she knows. Now, I believe she has something to say to you
Yuzuki: I....I'm sorry-, for everything. For abusing you....for making mom leave...I-
Kaoru: don't waste your breath on apologizing, I can't say I forgive you, but if you're willing to change your ways then I'm willing to a least be civil with you
Yuzuki: r-really?
Kaoru: mhm, I can tell that dad was just manipulating you to hate me, and since he's gone there really isn't any point holding malice towards you
Yuzuki smiles a bit, and not her usual smug smile either, but rather a true genuine smile

I wake up and sleepily head into the bathroom to take a shower and brush my teeth. Afterwards I head down stairs and see Yuzuki and Grandma
Yuzuki: good morning Kaoru
Kaoru: hey sis, hey grandma
Iris: soooooo, you ready for another day at UA?
Y/N:*stretches* ready as I'll ever be
Iris: that's the spirit, here's your breakfast
Grandma hands me a plate of french toast
Iris: now get out there and kick some ass

I run out the house and head to school eating my french toast

The day goes by like normal, despite UA being mainly a hero school, it's still a school nonetheless. It has core classes like any other school does, and after the morning classes it's time for lunch, my favorite time of day. Plus the fact that the food hero lunch rush is the one making lunch is something I find rather nice. Then after eating lunch, it's off to hero training
Class 1-A is talking about mundane stuff and I'm just looking out the window thinking about nothing in particular really until that really attractive girl from yesterday approaches me. What was her name again.......oh yeah, Momo
Momo: hello
Kaoru: oh hello there. What's up?
Momo: oh nothing, I just wanted to say that you were pretty cool yesterday during the quirk assessment
Kaoru: really? Thanks, I've never really been good at taking physical tests. But I'm glad you were impressed...Momo was it?
Momo: mhm, and you're.....hazel eyes? Sorry I didn't catch your name

Momo makes her way back to her desk and I kinda blush. I was considered to be pretty popular back in middle school due to the fact that my quirk is pretty darn good, and yes I was asked out a few times but I rejected them all because I never really wanted to date. Besides I'm sure they just wanted to brag to people about how they went on a date with me. So to have a girl actually wanna just talk for a bit instead of hitting on me out right gave me a different feeling
The class continues chatting about stuff until a familiar voice says a familiar phrase
Familiar voice: I am here!
The man himself All might bursts through the door in his hero costume making the class very excited
All might: coming through the door like a hero!
Kaminari: I can't believe it's all might!
Kirishima: so he really is a teacher here! This yeah is gonna be totally awesome!
Kaoru: learning from the best of the best AND he's wearing his silver age costume? Oh my god I'm getting goosebumps-

Yeaaaah needless to say all might is the most awesome hero ever
All might: welcome to the most important class at UA high! Think of it as heroing 101. Here you will learn the basics of being a pro, nd what it means to fight in the name of good. Let's get to it!
All might holds up a card saying "battle" on it

All might presses a remote which reveals 20 numbers suitcases for each student
All might: these were designed for you based off of your quirk registration forms and requests you sent in before school started. Get yourselves suited up, and then meet me at ground beta!
The class changes into their hero costumes and heads to ground beta. All might is already there waiting for us all
All might: they say that clothes make the pros, young ladies and gentlemen, and behold! You are the proof! Take this to heart
He takes a good look at all of our costumes
All might: this is getting me all revved up, you look so cool! Now, shall we get started you bunch of newbies?
Kaoru: uuuuuh Izuku, what the hell is your costume supposed to be? A bunny rabbit?
Izuku: I told you a million times already, I drew this suit when I was younger. Plus it was a gift from my mom, so I couldn't just ignore it
Kaoru: fair point, but later in the year you're gonna need a massive upgrade. I mean seriously
Speaking of costumes, lemme tell you about mine. I wanted to have sort of a futuristic type of costume, with a battery strapped to my hip connected with wires to store electricity to power up my quirk. It also has a scouter for reading heat signatures, and a grey trenchcoat that I can take off when I'm really getting serious. Here's a picture of what it kinda looks like

Kirishima: woah! Your costume is awesome!
Kaoru: thanks, I made it myself with the help of my grandma. She wouldn't allow me to have a cape because of an accident that happened with her hero costume
Kirishima: makes sense, after all not all heroes wear capes
All might gets the attention of all the students and starts explaining the challenge
All might: now that you're ready, it's time for combat training!
But before he can start explaining Iida raises his hand to ask a question
Iida: sir, this is the fake city from our entrance exams, does that mean we'll be conducting urban battles again?
All might: not quite, I'm going to move you two steps ahead. Most villain fights you see on the news happen outside. However, statistically speaking run-ins with mostly evil doers take place indoors. Think about it, back room deals, home invasions, secret underground lairs. Truly intelligent criminals stay hidden in the shadows. For this training exercise will split into teams of good guys and bad guys, and fight 2 on 2 battles
After a few more questions about the test and....wait why did one student ask about his cape?? Anyways All might continues explaining (y'all know what he says so the author isn't not writing that)
Iida: isn't there a better way
Izuku: think about it. Pros of then have to team up with heroes from other agencies on the spot, so maybe that's the reason we're seeing that here
Kaoru: plus there's the fact that you won't always be teamed with someone with a quirk that goes good with yours, that's why you'll need to improvise and adapt to any situation that you're put in
Iida: yes, I see. Life is a random series of events. Excuse my rudeness
All might: no sweat! Let's draw!
We all draw and I end up getting team H also with a frog looking girl. I go to her and she greets me
Tsu: hi, my name is Tsuyu Asui. But you can just call me Tsu
Kaoru: I'm Kaoru Shirogane, nice to meet you Tsu. Soooooo, looks like we'll be working together
Tsu: yep, and you're that kid with the hazel eyes right?
Kaoru:*thinks* to say something about that or not.....eh, whatever *out loud* yep, that's me, Hazel eyes....but anyways, we should probably come up with a plan
Tsu: our opponents are Sero and Kirishima, do you know anything about their quirks?
Kaoru: I know about Kirishima's quirk, basically allows him to harden his body to use for either offensive or defensive purposes. So close quarters combat with him is a no go
Tsu:*nods* and Sero seem to be able to shoot tape from his elbows, that'll be hard to deal with for me. My quirk isn't exactly suited for combat
Kaoru: then we should stick together for this, I'll keep the two of them busy with my quirk, and you go for the payload
Tsu: alright, sounds good
The teams are now assembled and the first teams to fight are team A and team D. Oh no....
