“Noooooooooooooooo! Why did you leave him?!” Jake exclaimed with his eyes fixed on the screen, questioning the lead character.
Sunghoon just looked at him with exasperated eyes.
“Jake, can you please shut your mouth? How would we be able to watch in peace if you keep talking there” Sunghoon said.
“I’m sorry, I just got carried away” Jake said.
They stayed like this for minutes while sitting together on the couch, but not too close to each other since Sunghoon made sure that they have enough distance to avoid what just happened a while ago.
“Yah yah yah! See? I told you, he cannot live without her” Jake excitedly said as he watched the two main characters talking once again. Sunghoon, on the other hand, just questioned himself why did he let Jake drag him to watch a romantic movie. Thank goodness, it was not a horror movie because if it is, Jake will surely scream endlessly. Jake was very talkative indeed!
“You love romance that much, huh?” Sunghoon asked and Jake nodded.
“How about you? Oh have you had a girlfriend before?” Jake asked him but Sunghoon just frowned.
“Don’t ask such things like that” Sunghoon said and with that, Jake suddenly felt bad. He just mentally slapped himself for asking something personal.
“I’m sorry” Jake murmured. Sunghoon might be very emotionless but this time, his eyes show pure sadness.
“I’ve had one before but… my best friend is a snake so I just let them be” Sunghoon said shortly which made Jake turn his head to him with a worried face.
“Oww, I’m sorry about that” Jake whispered as he scooted over beside Sunghoon to pat his shoulders and comfort him. Jake thinks that it’s his fault for bringing up this issue but Sunghoon, on the other hand, wants to tell him ‘Don’t be sorry about it. It’s not your fault’ but just decided to keep silent.
Sunghoon then felt comfort for what he did so he just let Jake do whatever he wanted and they just stayed like that, doing nothing.
"Aww~ that was sweet" Jake said as the two main characters kissed on the movie that they watched. Sunghoon just rolled his eyes. He hates romance, it's cringy.
Maybe, it is because he was already hurt before.
They were both so attached to the movie that they doesn't even notice that they are already sitting beside each other.
Sunghoon used to hate human contacts, he hates being to close to each other but this time, he just let Jake beside him because if that was other people, Sunghoon will immediately scoot himself away from that person.
But this didn't mean that he is letting Jake be friends with him.
And after a few more minutes of watching, Sunghoon was too focused to the movie and thank goodness that Jake already shut his mouth. He also noticed that Jake was really silent now that is not ususal for the guy.
Sunghoon then turned his head to look at him and saw Jake's eyes closed while hugging one of the throw pillows on the couch. Sunghoon smirked at the sight as he remembered what the older told him just a while ago.
"Still too early to sleep, huh?" Sunghoon whispered while letting a chuckle let out of his mouth.
But without even noticing, he found himself staring for too long to the other.
Yes, he was pushing Jake away from him earlier but deep inside him, he was thankful that Jake came to bring him dinner because first of all, he was too bored. Secondly, he was too hungry but too lazy to cook something for himself.
Sunghoon just unconsciously stare at Jake’s face. Good thing, Jake is deep asleep now because if he woke up in no time, he will definitely catch Sunghoon staring at him and he might think that he is a creep.
They just stayed like that. Sunghoon focused on the movie while Jake is sleeping beside him but when the movie is near to its end, Sunghoon suddenly felt something on his shoulders. Sunghoon then looked at Jake beside him. His head is now resting on Sunghoon’s shoulder with his cheeks pushing his lips into a pout. Sunghoon then slightly smiled at the sight. Jake looks like a puppy indeed.
Wait, what?! He smiled?
Sunghoon then averted his eyes back to the movie as he realized what he just did. His face suddenly felt hot so he just faked a cough to shrug it off.
He then took a sigh. Why is he feeling strange to Jake all of a sudden?
He just let Jake to rest at his shoulder as he thought that Jake must be really tired after his work at the coffee shop.
When the movie ended, Sunghoon reached the remote control beside him carefully, not to move his shoulder where Jake is resting, and closed the televison. He also felt his eyelids getting heavier so he just closed his eyes and also leaned on Jake’s head.
Maybe they could stay like that for a while since he doesn’t want to wake up Jake and he also felt tired and lazy.
‘I’ll just take a nap and go to my room when Jake is already awake’ Sunghoon thought before his mind brought him to his dreamland.

“Yah, If you enter that dirty shoes inside, I’ll make you clean the whole house using your own toothbrush” Jimin threatened the younger ones with him so they immediately took off their shoes and put it on the shoe rack.

They quietly opened the door, not to wake up Sunghoon and Jake because they knew, they are already asleep. But as soon as they opened the house, they just stood in their place while looking at the two persons sitting on the couch. Jake was hugging a throw pillow but his head is resting on Sunghoon’s shoulder while Sunghoon, on the other hand, was also leaning his head at the top of Jake’s head while his hand is holding the remote control, making them look so adorable and comfortable on their seat.
“What the hell just happened?” Niki asked with his eyes wide open while looking at the two.
“Wait, am I seeing this right?” Jay said while rubbing his eyes, making sure that the scene in front of him is real.
“UwU~ that was cute! Jungwon, take a photo of that one” Sunoo whispered, half shouting in excitement. Jungwon then just giggled and took out his phone to capture that very rare moment of Sunghoon, being close with someone.
“I can use this to blackmail him” Jungwon said and smirked while looking at the photos he captured just a while ago.
“Uhmm, should we wake them up? I really felt bad intruding their moment but they should sleep comfortably on their rooms” Jimin said with his eyes sparkling at the sight.
“Can’t you see, uncle? They looked so comfortable on their seats” Jungwon said.
Jimin then walked silently near them to wake them up. Of course, this moment is so adorable but they might wake up with stiff necks if they don’t move to their respective rooms.
“You should go to your rooms now, kids” Jimin said to the others which they immediately followed with giggles on their lips.
When the others disappeared already, he carefully sat beside Jake and tapped his shoulder to wake him up. Jake then immediately reacted with what the older did. Jake slowly opened his eyes and rub it softly to adjust at the light.
“Jake, I think you should go now to your bed and sleep comfortably, okay?” Jimin asked and Jake just nodded to him “Please also wake Sunghoon up for him to go back to his room, okay?”
Jimin then walked out and left the two on their place.
“Oh did I sleep that long?” Jake said before moving his head but immediately stopped when he realized something.
“Oh shit. Did I just sleep on Sunghoon’s soulder? My gosh! This is so embarrassing” Jake whispered to himself while slapping himself mentally.
He then took a deep breath before lifting his hand to wake Sunghoon up. He gently placed his hand on Sunghoon’s shoulder and slightly shook him.
“Sungie~ Wake up” Jake sofly said which made Sunghoon stir on his sleep.
Sunghoon woke up at the sweet voice waking him up and slowly opened his eyes. To his surprise, the first thing that he saw upon opening his eyes is the puppy looking guy that he just sleep with a while ago.
“The others are already here so you can now go back to your room” Jake said to him before standing.
Sunghoon doesn’t reply but just also walked to his room. He was already facing his room and was about to open it when Jake suddenly called him.
“Sungie” Jake called him and he immediately turned his head, a little shocked at what Jake just called him “Thank you for watching the movie with me tonight. Good night!” Jake said before entering his room and closing the door behind him with a smile on his face.
Sunghoon just keep quiet and doesn’t talk but deep inside him, he really appreciate what Jake did so he just slowly entered his room with a soft smile and immediately went to his bed and continue his sleep.
