"Rise and Shine maggots!!" Monokuma said through the speakers. "It's 7am so it's time to get your lazy butts off of your beds, while also get ready for another despair inducing day! Oh, and as a little reward for winning yesterday's trial, I opened a few new rooms for you! I encourage you to go crazy!!"
Leo woke up from Monokuma's announcement, he was still tired from the trial that they had yesterday, so he showered and went over to the cafeteria where a few classmates such as June and Mac were present.
"Morning Leo." June said while greeting Leo with a smile.
"Morning." Mac said as he did the same for him.
Leo sat down and waited for everyone else to show up, soon after a few minutes, everyone was now present.
"So much for everyone arriving on time." Mandy grumbled.
"Hey! It's takes me years to get my hair to look this good!" Sasha said as she used her hand to flip her hair. "You would understand if you had locks that are as gorgeous as mine."
Beast Boy then smelled something pleasant. "Mm, what is that smell?"
"Marinette and Ruby are in the kitchen baking donuts." Raven said as she looked at the kitchen.
"So did you guys hear Monokuma's announcement?" Mac asked.
"Yup, the school map's been updated." Velma said as she looked at her E-Handbook. "Seems like Monokuma gave us access to the second floor."
"I say we go and check it out." Kuki said. "We might have another chance of finding a way to escape."
"Maybe, plus we might try and find some more information about this school." Velma explained.
Suddenly, a loud crash was heard from the kitchen. "What was that!?" Mac said as he was startled by the crash.
The some of the students went inside the kitchen to see most of the floor covered in flour, a metal latter was on the ground which might've been the source of that crash, Ruby was also on the ground covered in flour.
"It's everywhere..." Ruby said feeling embarrassed about the flour around the school.
"Are you alright dudette?" Amethyst asked.
Sasha just laughed at the flour covered Ruby. "Oh man, I gotta be honest with you Ruby!" She said as she took a picture of Ruby covered in flour with her E-Handbook. "That is such a good look for you, it describes on how you're such a clutz."
Sasha continued laughing and walked away to go somewhere else, Ruby felt discouraged from what Sasha said and held her head low.
"It's okay Ruby." Mac said helping her up. "Ignore what Sasha said, you're not a clutz."
"Yeah, you were just trying to help." Marinette said as she was putting the donuts in the fryer.
"Thanks but I'm okay now." Ruby said as she still felt discouraged. "I'm really sorry for the mess I made..." So she left the kitchen walked somewhere else.
Mac couldn't help but feel bad for Ruby, he didn't want to let Ruby feel sad. Leo and June felt bad as well.
Soon after they finished cleaning up, Leo went over to check the rooms on the second floor, the first room was the library on where Raven, Donnie and Velma were found.
"Wow, this library is so big." Donnie said as he was impressed. The library was indeed big, there were dozens of shelves that were organized and tidy, plus a few tables on where people will have like a study session or have a place to sit to read their books.
"I can't say that I'm surprised." Velma said as she looked around. "I mean this is one of the most prestigious schools in the world."
"Yeah, meanwhile the most prestigious school is just a trap." Raven said. "A trap on where we are locked in here to kill each other in order to graduate."
Leo just sighed and looked around. He has to admit, this would be a great place for him to read some books since it was one of his favorite hobbies, perhaps he could borrow one during his free time.
The four students went around searching different areas of the library, Donnie sat a table trying to work a lab top that he found. "Drat, this laptop doesn't work." He said as he tried to work it.
"I hate to say it, but I don't think there's anything in here that could help us escape." Leo said as he looked around.
"Maybe, but maybe we could try and search for some kind of book that has some information about the school." Velma said. "Maybe that could help us find a way out and help us understand about this school."
"I doubt the one controlling that weird bear would give us a clue about that." Raven said. "But I guess it doesn't hurt to try."
"I can agree with Raven, I'm gonna go search in the other rooms." Leo said as he then left the library to go and check the other rooms.
The next room he came across was a workshop that was filled with construction tools such as hammers, screwdrivers wood cutters, wrenches and pieces of wood, in there was Cyborg, June, Bloo and Kuki.
"Hey Leo, have you checked this workshop here?"Kuki asked as she looked at the workshop.
"Wow, this'll really come in handy when I want to do a little DIY stuff." June said as she looked around.
"Yeah, we could make like some bird houses, doll houses, or maybe even our pencil cases." Kuki said as she she looked around the shop and the tools.
"Yeah, but best be careful with those tools." Cyborg said. "We don't anyone to have any broken bones when we use like a hammer or whatever to build something."
"I gotta be honest, it's gonna be kinda hard to hate this school because of how good these rooms are." Bloo said as he looked around.
Leo then left the workshop to check on the other rooms, the next room he found was a sewing room which was where Mandy, Marinette, Amethyst and Sasha were, it was filled with fabrics, had a white interior, yarn, a sewing machine, and a special flower pot full of lilies.
"Wow! A sewing room!" Marinette said as she loved the sewing room. "This will be great for designing new outfits!"
"There sure are a lot of fabrics here." Leo said.
"Well, it's cool I guess." Sasha said as she wasn't impressed.
"Meh, I've seen better." Mandy said.
"Do you two have stuff better to do than act like spoiled sour pusses." Amethyst asked as she was annoyed.
"Do you have something better to do than act so childish?" Mandy asked.
"Now now guys, calm down." Marinette said. "You know, maybe when once we're done with this investigation, I could give you girls a new look."
"Meh, cool I guess." Sasha said as she didn't care.
So after Leo stopped searching around, he left the sewing room, the next room that he found was a pool, where Beast Boy, Marco and Mac were. The pool was big and at the back of the room were the girls locker room and boys locker room.
"Sweet! Never knew this school had a pool before." Beast Boy said as he liked the pool. "This will be the great place for a party."
"Yeah, Darwin...would've loved this place." Leo said sadly, Beast Boy, Marco and Mac felt the same way as Leo after what they remembered yesterday.
"It's okay Leo." Mac said. "We miss him too."
"Yeah." Marco agreed. "So did anyone find anything interesting?"
"Well, I was looking around the boys locker room and all I found was some exercise equipment." Beast Boy said as he was checking the locker room.
"I'm gonna go check to see if there are any other rooms." Leo said as he left the pool.
"I'll go too." Mac said as he also left the pool.
Leo and Mac checked around the room, June joined as well after she was done searching the workshop, there were some more classrooms, a janitors closet and some more bathrooms.
Suddenly, they stopped when they heard a strange sound, it sounded like music, and someone was singing, they checked to see where the sound was coming from, the saw the sound coming from a room that was full of instruments, music sheets and microphones, but that wasn't what caught their attention.
Sitting on a stool playing an acoustic guitar was Ruby, her voice sounded sad but it sounded so beautiful that it was starting to make Mac blush a little.
"I guess as time goes by." Ruby sang sadly. "Everyone has to go out on your own, maybe someday, I'll have to try, something new that's just for me, a little something I could be, just my own, so I won't feel...so left behind..."
"Ruby?" Mac asked, causing Ruby to be startled and look at Leo and Mac who were watching her.
"M-Mac? June? Leo? What are you three doing here?"Ruby asked trying to out on a fake smile.
"We heard a noise coming from here, and we found you singing." Mac said calmly.
"Ruby...do you miss your home?" June asked hesitantly.
She then started to feel sad and sighed as she put the guitar away. "Yes, I do miss my home." Ruby said sadly. "I miss my friends, I miss my house, and I really miss my pet Doom Kitty, I thought this school would be a great new experience for me, to help me learn and achieve a great future. But instead I'm forced to live in a school on where we have to murder each other in order to graduate...it makes me feel alone...knowing my friends aren't here to help me...and now I don't have anyone to around...or in this case...want to be around me..."
The three friends couldn't help but feel bad for her, they understand that to her, living in school such as this one is hard for her, Ruby looked like she was gonna shed some tears but Mac wiped her tears and put his hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry Ruby." Mac said comfortingly. "You're not alone on this, we'll be with you through any situation possible."
"Mac's right Ruby." June said. "Even if we're in a school like this, we could still support each other."
"And there's no need to feel alone." Leo told Ruby. "By being alone, you'll start succumbing to despair and that's just what Monokuma wants, for now you can hang on with us and we'll try and find some way to get out of here."
The little red haired girl smiled, these people that she's around reminds her of her home and her friends, she wiped a few of her tears. "Thank you guys."
"And about that song." Mac said. "Your voice sounded really pretty."
"Yeah, me and Leo like to sing too, maybe we could form a band sometime." June said smiling.
"Really?" Ruby asked as she then made a sweet smile. "Thank you guys."
Ruby's smile was starting to make Mac's cheeks turn red and gulp. "You okay Mac?" Leo asked.
"I-I-It's nothing! I'm gonna go head to cafeteria!" Mac said as he quickly got out of the music room feeling embarrassed.
"Hmm, I wonder what got into him?" June asked as she was confused.
Leo shrugged, soon after, everyone head downstairs to the cafeteria to meet up with everyone else.
"Alright everyone." Velma said. "Let's go over and discuss on what we found."
"Me, Marco and Mac found a pool." Beast Boy said. "It was so big! Sadly there wasn't a way out."
"Me, Sasha, Amethyst and Mandy found a sewing room." Marinette said. "It was filled with so many fabrics I could use for making new clothes."
"I found a music room that was full of instruments." Ruby said.
"Me, Velma, Donnie and Leo found a library, sadly the lab tops that were there didn't seem to work." Raven said.
"So that was it huh?" Sasha asked feeling irritated. "Guess this search was just a complete waste of time!"
"Not a waste of time, Sasha." Velma said. "At least we found some more information, plus we'll try again with some future rooms."
Marinette then smirked and came up with a special idea. "Since we're all here, I thought of coming up with a special little something." She said as she made everyone curious. "I'm gonna go and design some new clothes!"
"Clothes?" Donnie asked not feeling interested. "No offense but us guys aren't interested in clothes." All the guys but Mac and Leo agreed.
"Oh." Marinette said feeling a bit disappointed. "Well I guess I'll just have to give me and the girls a new look, meet me at the sewing room in a couple of hours!"
So Marinette then dashed off to the sewing room to go and sew some clothes, it was now 2:30 PM, and Marinette called everyone over to let the girls try their new outfits.
"Alright guys, you ready to see what I came up with!?" She said feeling excited. Marinette then grabbed a few clothes and head to a changing booth that was in the sewing room, after she was done, she came back in a fresh, French and ladybug themed outfit.
"Ta-Da!!" She said as she got out of the changing room to show off her new look. "What do you think?"
Everyone was impressed with Marinette's new look. "Wow! You look so pretty!" June said as she was impressed.
"Thanks! Here you go June." Marinette said as she gave June a new set of clothes. "This is set I made for you. Go on try it on."
So June grabbed her set of clothes and head to the changing room, soon after she was done, she came back with a special, dance appropriate outfit.
"Does it look good?" June asked shyly. Leo was impressed with June's new look, he thinks that it really fits with her talent and her personality.
"That outfit looks so pretty on you." Leo said as he was impressed, causing June's cheeks to turn a little pink.
"Okay Raven, your turn." Marinette as she gave Raven a set of clothes.
"Me?" Raven asled as she was confused.
"Don't worry Raven, just go ahead and try them." Marinette said as she gave her the puppy eyes. "Please?"
Raven sighed and went to the changing room. "Alright." Soon after a while, she came out with a new, tomboy and goth girl themed look.
"This outfit looks fine I think." Raven said as she felt embarrassed about wearing a new outfit like this. "What do you guys think?"
Beast Boy was left with jaw dropped after he saw Raven's new outfit, to him, it made her look so attractive. "Whoa..." He said as he was impressed.
"Wow, you look good in this outfit!" Marinette as she got another set of clothes. "Okay Ruby, your turn."
Ruby grabbed the set of clothes and head to the changing room. When she came back, her outfit that she got was sweet and 50's themed.
"Does it look good?" Ruby asked shyly.
Mac was left completely speechless after seeing Ruby's outfit, her outfit made her look so beautiful and it started to match her smile well.
"I-It looks great on you Ruby." Mac said shyly as he hid his blush away.
She gave a sweet smile and looked away blushing a little. "Ooh! Ooh! Me next! Me next!" Kuki said excitedly.
"Okay then." Marinette said as she gave Kuki a set of clothes and head to the changing room, after she came back, Kuki wore a pastel, childlike themed outfit.
"Wow!!" Kuki said as she looked in the mirror. "It's so cute and pretty!!"
"Glad to see you like it!" Marinette said with a smile as she then gave Sasha a new outfit. "Let's see how you look Sasha."
"Alright I guess." Sasha said as she grabbed her outfit, after she changed, she came back with a sort of 80's school uniform themed outfit.
"Huh, this doesn't look that bad." Sasha said as she actually liked her outfit.
"Hmm, that outfit kinda reminds of Heather Chandler from Heathers." Velma said as she looked at Sasha's outfit. "It was one of my favorite books."
"Well at least this makes me cuter." Sasha said as she looked in the mirror.
"Okay Amethyst, your turn!" She said as she gave Amethyst a new pair of clothes.
Amethyst entered the changing room and changed into her new outfit. He outfit was tomboyish and it looked pretty comfy for her.
"Got to hand it to you Marinette, these outfits feel so comfortable." Amethyst said as she liked her outfit.
"Thanks Amethyst." She said as she grabbed a set of clothes for Mandy. "Here, I even made a good look for you."
Mandy rolled her eyes and took the outfit, she head to the changing room to get changed. As she got out, Mandy wore an outfit that was goth and gloomy themed.
"It's fine I guess." Mandy said not impressed with her look.
"You know, it think it makes you look prettier." Bloo said as he looked at her outfit, only for Mandy to give him an annoyed look, causing Bloo to walk away.
"Okay, I guess that leaves me then." Velma said as she grabbed the last set that Marinette made and head to the changing room, Velma came back with a school uniform themed outfit, plus her hair being held in a ponty tail by a scrunchie.
"Wow, this outfit looks really good on you Velma." Donnie said as he was impressed.
"Thanks I guess." Velma said as she looked away.
"Wow! You girls look so good in your clothes." Marinette said as she was impressed with her work. "Another round of satisfied customers!"
"You didn't really have to do this Marinette." Raven said.
"Oh come on Raven, now that I found out there was a sewing room, I get to do the thing that I loved most!" She said as she was happy.
"Well we really want to thank you for the outfits you made us." June said. "They're really pretty."
So after the girls were done with their little fashion show, the other students left the sewing room and continued going about their day, unaware for what's gonna happen soon.
I have to say, this chapter has been one of my favorite ones to write so far, especially when drawing the outfits, I thought they were great too, and it seems like there's something going on between two of the students.
So who do you think should be murdered, who will be the murderer, what will their execution be, and what will the motive be? Feel free to share some ideas on executions and some ideas for who would be murdered or who will be murdered.
