" Aang?"
I question staring at his alluring grey eyes
"Hey Katara I thought I drop by because I couldn't wait for you to get out of school, sorry" Aang rubbed his neck
"Oh that's okay, did my parents let you in?" I question bitting my lip,i was nervous
" yeah, they were so kind when I told you I was your...f-friend" Aang stuttered
"Oh good, anyways what did they tell you?" I ask curiously as I walk in the door
hopefully nothing too embarrassing
"if you are preferring to something embarrassing, they said a lot..." Aang chuckled
"great..." i mumbled under my breath
"hey Katara, i see you have found your friend come sit" my stepmom offered
"uhm i should get going" Aang said awkwardly looking at the dinner table
"no, no, stay i have a whole buffet" my stepmom giggled
Aang slightly nodded and joined me at the dinner table
"so Aang, how are your studies?" my dad asked crossing his arms
i felt Aang gulp and he replied
"uh, good..." he said rubbing his neck from the tension
"normal grade?"my dad replied
" rarely Bs and mostly As" Aang explained
My dad raised his brow and turned to me with a surprised look
I put my utensils down
"Dad stop investigating Aang, he just a f-friend" i say as friend rolled off my tongue unnaturally
Aang turned to me and slowly went back to eating
"yeah give him a break" my stepmom confronted my dad
"sorry that this is dead awkward" i whispered to Aang
Aang looked at me and smiled
"i haven't been at a full dinner table in so long" Aang replied
I softly smiled
"well i hope i met your standards " i joke
Aang looks at me and holds my hand under the table
"you met my standard many months ago" Aang teased
I blush and my parents look at me
"what are you two talking about?" my dad interpreted
I let go of Aang's hand swiftly and turn my head
"ahh, nothing much, exams, assessments, continue" i say pointing at the food
They both raise and brow and gave each other looks and i eat in the awkward silence...

"this is my room" i say as i open the door
Aang peeks inside and looks at the walls
"hey is your...
baby photos?" Aang chuckled looking at the hanging photo
"W-WHAT NO!" i say covering the photos
Aang gently moves my hand and red my name while i die from embarrassment
"ha, your cute-" Aang stopped
"what is it?" i said as Aang pauses
Aang jerks his head up to me
"are you-, nevermind I'm keeping this picture" Aang said getting the photo out of the frame
"h-hey!" i say as he got the photo out
"give it!" i say as i try to grab it
Aang holds the picture high up while i try to get it
"hey, hey ,hey-"
I try to grab the photo but we both trip and i land on top of him
"hey kids oh my!" my stepmom opened the door
i look at her and then Aang
"wow, right here, right now, odd choice" my stepmom giggles
I get off Aang and we both stand up flustered
"it wasn't what it looked like" i say quickly
"sure it wasn't, have fun" my stepmom closes the door
I slam my head and land on my bed
"sorry Katara" Aang mumbles
"it okay, you can keep it, i alway have a copy" i say pinching the bridge of my nose
"hey can i walk you to school? i return tomorrow" Aang kneels at the edge of the bed facing me
"yeah sure thing" i say sitting up
Aang stands up and helps me get up and i hug him
"what was that for" Aang whispers
"well, i will finally have you at school so i don't feel empty" i breathe out
Aang smirks and looks back at me
"till then...shall we?"

the light beams through my window and i squint my eyes and sit up
I do my daily stretches and then my routine for the morning and after getting ready and out the door i look around but no sight of Aang...
I look around and see Zuko
"oh! Zuko what are you doing here?" i ask puzzled
"oh just coming back from the hospital and going to school because i forced to" Zuko joked
i smile
"glad your back..."

"sorry Katara, something came up and i had to report to that" Aang rubbed his neck
"oh that's okay, i had Zuko!" i say to reassure Aang
"AANG!" Sokka shouted in the far distance
We both turn to him he high fives Aang
"so Katara, today, I'm going to your house okay?" Sokka deadpanned
I nod
"yep, i will text you the address incase" i say giggling after teasing him
Sokka waves and i wave back and look back at Aang
"what for?' Aang asked curiously
"to pick girl stuff"i explain
"oh" Aang said looking at Sokka in the distance
"well have fun" Aang said patting my head

"good, but what are you eating for dinner?" Sokka said
I turn to him and scoff
"meat, Sokka i am eating meat and some sides of vegetables or something more" i say
"oh yummmy, what type of meat" Sokka wiggled his brows
"i not sure, my mom cooks everything" i say
"looks like were here" I say as we reach our house
"you know, you should have told me not to send the message because i didn't know I had to walk you to my house" i whin to Sokka
"c'mon you didn't use all your energy in one message" Sokka rolled his eyes
I roll my eyes too and put my hand on the door and get my keys
"your house isn't too bad, it looks nice, almost too familiar " Sokka said squinting his eyes at the colour and form of my house
I look at view my house like Sokka and shrug it off and after unlocking the door i walk-in
I was greeted by my dad on the couch and mom making dinner like usual
"hey Katara- wait SOKKA!" my stepmom covered her mouth
Me and Sokka were confused
"how did you-, something wrong?" i ask really confused
"honey we need to talk" my father said in a serious tone as he gets up
Me and Sokka look at each other confused....
i nod andsit down and after my parents gestured Sokka to sit down, he sat down

Sokka is your brother" my dad explained
