COREY
I was at the mall inside a new store that held everything SciFi. I came here because I needed some new boxers and shoe laces. The guys stayed home and decided to watch tv and just hang out. It was a slow weekend, not many missions came up but we stuck to our day jobs.
I came into this store to look around, because apparently someone decided to dream big and make themselves my hero. They had everything awesome. I saw a new D&D game board, marvel wallets and bags. Lord of the rings action figures and DC comics, this store was pure magic.
I took my time and looked at every single object. Mandalorian body wash? I shook my head and smiled. When I got to the clothes section I lost it. So many cool shirts I wanted, but not on my list. I went further into the mens wears and found star wars boxer briefs. They had cool designs on them and I grabbed it.
It was way better than plain checkered ones in Sears. The only person that sees them anyway was Raven. I blushed at the thought. I put a couple of them into my basket and went to look for some shoe laces. Marc spilled kool aid the other morning and got it on my white shoes. The laces turned pink and looked ridiculous.
I was glad I manage to clean off my shoes. I came around the corner and a tiny body bumped into me. We clashed and tumbled to the ground. My shorts flying everywhere on the floor.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry. I didn't see you. Are you okay?" A sweet voice said. I finally followed the sound and came face to face with beautiful bright green eyes. They're was something about them I couldn't place, I looked at the girl more clearly. She had crazy blonde hair that changed colors in the light, nice pink lips and smelled of green apple jelly beans.
She crawled around gathering my underwear and tossing them back in my basket. I blushed at what she saw. "Here, sorry I bumped into you. I saw a shirt and ran strait for it. Uh..." She blushed at the golden cp3o I picked out. She handed it to me and I tossed it under the rack near by.
"Someone must have dropped that one. That's not mine." I knew she saw through my lie but I couldn't help it. This was embarrassing. I stood and help her up. She was so tiny! Or was I just to freaking tall?
"Oh. Okay?" She was lost for words and I couldn't blame her. I glance down at her clothes and saw the Star trek t-shirt she was wearing. It was the color of Mr. Spock's uniform and she pulled it off with black skinny jeans and blue flats. Her long strait hair framed her face, my mouth dried completely.
"I'm Corey."
"I'm Sang."
"So,..uh..are you okay? I didn't hurt you did I?" I asked now worried I hurt her.
"No. I'm fine. I played football in high school so tackling you was easy." I gaped at her. Really? She she laughed and it was music to my ears.
Oh! I blushed and chuckled along with her. "You almost had me."
"Almost? I got you good." She giggled, "anyways, I'm sorry again Corey. Enjoy the rest of your day." She smiled and walked towards the rack with the shirts. I took a step forward and kicked something. Her phone.
I picked it up and looked it over, hoping it wasn't damaged. I'd be happy to by her a new one if it was. "Hey, Sang! You dropped your phone." I jogged to catch up to her.
"Oh shiznits. Thank you!" I smiled at her curse and handed it over.
"Is it working?" I asked. She turned it on and nodded happily. "So...uh. I know we just bumped I to each other but...uh..can I have your number? That's if you're not seeing anyone! I mean I'm sorry you probably are, your too gorgeous not to be single-" I blurted out and she giggled again. God it was a cute sound.
"It's fine. No I'm not seeing anyone and yes you can have my number Corey." I took out my phone and she tapped it against mine. What? A second later her picture showed up along with her number. Oh, the auto thing-ma-jeg. I haven't really used it myself, but that was cool.
"So, are you new to town?"
"Yeah actually. But I'll only be here for a few weeks. Work." I nodded my head.
"Where do you work at?" I asked curious. She turned towards the shirts and started going through it.
"I'm a nurse. I work with new born infants. I was asked to help train at the hospital." The way she said it was like she knew. And I knew that they were having a fundraiser next week. Is she Academy? It couldn't be a coincidence.
"Tacos" I said watching her expression. She looked up and gave me a heart stopping smile.
"Xbox."
I sighed in relief and also in shock. She was Academy. From a different state. Maybe even a different country. She said xbox! Was she a gamer? She came into this store, she likes SciFi! She was amazing!
"Thanks. I think your amazing too?" She giggled. I blushed I said that out loud? "Yeah you said it out loud" I don't think it could get more red. I smiled at her and watch her check the size of the shirt she wanted. It was a white shirt that had a picture of baby yoda on it.
"So, would you like to have lunch with me? We can check out the food court?" My voice seemed low but I think I was just really nervous.
"Sure." She said giving me a small smile. We started to talk about the store and what we liked. When we got to the food court we got chinese food and Orange Julius. We told each other about ourselves, and the places we've been. Time passed by and it was a lot of fun just hanging out with her.
My heart warm and my stomach fluttered every time I made her laugh or smile. I didn't want this day to end. We walked through the mall once not really looking in the stores, then she said asked me where the movie theater was.
"Want to watch a movie together? It's not like a date or anything just two new people that became friends. Or do you want it to be a date? I don't mind, I just really like you and want to take you out and I-i..." I blurted out again and turned 51 shades of pink.
What was I even thinking, Im with Raven...but we have an open relationship kind of thing going on. Ugh! Why is this so hard!
"I'd like that." She blushed and God I wanted to lick the heat on her cheeks.
"Uh..okay. what about I pick you later? I can check the movie listings and text you. The new avengers movie is still showing. Have you watched it?" I already did twice but I didn't car to watch it a third time especially with her.
"Oh my god, really? I haven't seen it yet. I thought it wasnt playing any more. I've been to busy with work when it came out." Yes! I got on my phone and bought our tickets. They only had the late show at 9:30, I asked her if that was okay and she nodded.
We left the mall and I offered to walk her to her car. We continued to talk and learn things about each other. Once we got to her chevy camaro, I whistled. It was a deep maroon color and something plenty of guys would appreciate.
She giggled and tossed her things in. "I guess I'll see you later than Corey. I'm staying at the Hilton. I can come down and meet you out front?" I furrowed my brows. She's going to be living at a hotel for weeks?
"My team has room in our apartment building. Would you be more comfortable there than a hotel room? I'm sorry, it just seems a little too lonely to go back to after a day of work. I mean if you want. I'm sure my team don't mind. You can even have my room-" I couldn't stop rambling. She covered my mouth with her soft hands and smiled.
"Thank you Corey. What about I check out tomorrow morning and being my things to your place. It would be nice to have company after training. And it's always good to meet new people. But tonight I think I'll spend the time for myself and get plenty of rest."
"Okay. Sounds like a plan. I'll be at the hotel around 8:45?" She nodded and I walked towards Brandons car. Yes! My heart was about to burst with joy. When I saw her drive out of the lot, I waved at her. I thought she was going to wave back, instead she stuck out her hand and gave me Mr. Spock's 'live long and prosper' signal. I laughed.
I think I'm falling in love. Could this be possible only knowing the person for a couple hours?
Anyways I got a date with Sang tonight. What should I wear? Should I even change clothes? I tossed my bag of briefs onto the passenger seat.
I forgot my shoe laces.
Oh well, I can get them next time. I drove out and headed home. When I got there I made it my mission to clean up and try to keep it clean. I made room for Sang stuff in my room, changed the sheets and checked to make sure the restroom was clean.
I didn't notice Brandon coming in and asking what the hell I was doing. "Just feel like cleaning" I said with a smile and he looked at me weird. I wonder how it'll go when she meets my twin. Will she even tell us apart? I frowned at the thought.
Girls could never tell us apart, sometimes the guys even get confused. I continued to wipe things down and thanked god me and Brandon had our our apartment across from Axel, Marc and Raven.
Otherwise this place would look like the aftermath of a frat party. I thought I would grab somethings after the movie at the 24 hour walmart. I wasn't a good cook but Sang might be, and I wanted her to be able to have some breakfast.
After hours passed I showered and got ready. I wore dark jeans and a black shirt that had the guardians of the galaxy characters on it. Rocket was my favorite. I grabbed a light sweater, phone and my wallet.
When I got into the living room the guys were all there. They looked at me and I fought the blush. I hated being on the spotlight sometimes. I cleared my throat and walked to the key bowl getting the keys to my brothers car.
"Where you going? It's kind late already isn't it?" Marc asked curiously. Raven raise his brows and my face warmed.
"Out, and so? I'll be back later." With that I walked out from the gaping faces. I never really just said things straight out before, and it didn't help that my voice held sternly behind my words.
That felt great. I checked my phone and it looked like I was going to be on time. Yes!

Hey guys, sorry but I accidentally skip a chapter. I thought I hit publish. The academy hospital chapter goes before mr. Spock T-Shirts and Star Wars Underwear. I was trying to edit my other stories and I guess I got confused a bit. Won't happen again, have a lot on my mine with my other book and school work.
