It was early the next morning, and Mr Sir was walking along the porch talking to all the young boys and girl.
"Listen up." He started. "After the behaviour exhibited these past several days, the Warden and I have decided that your character-building will be served by returning to the digging of individual holes." He told them all as Caveman just stared blankly, Magnet was asleep, while standing and the others just didn't give a shit. "Over to you." He looked at Pendanski as he began to walked away.
"All right! Let's go dig, boys! Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go!" He then began to wave them all for them all to lead to the dried up lake.
"I like how they always forget to say girl too." Chloe/Barge told her friends as they chuckled.
"Guess your not important." X-Ray joked as she pushed him playfully. He nearly slipped which made them all chuckle again.

It was now the middle of the day, everyone was sweating, panting and starting to lose a lot of water from their canteens.
Luckily, Mr Sir had arrived with the water truck and started to fill all of their canteens up. When it was Caveman's turn he started to talk.
"Water's the most precious commodity on the planet. All life begins with water. So, think of it this way. I'm giving you life. Say "thank you"." He handed over Stanley's/Caveman's full canteen as Magnet secretly took a sack out of the front seat of the truck.
"Thank you, Mr Sir." As he was walking back to his hole, they all heard thunder. They saw the very thick clouds, but they were beyond the mountains.
"Don't get your hopes up. Them storms never make it past the mountains." Mr Sir told them all. He was probably here for so long that he knows this stuff like the back of his hand.
"Maybe this time they will." Stanley said, not really getting his hopes up.
"I hope..." Chloe sat on her dirt pile and drank some water slowly.
"I got a story for you Girl Scouts!" Mr Sir spat out his sunflower seed on the floor. "Once upon a time, there was a magical place where it never rained. The end." He smirked and laughed at his very short, stupid story.
"I don't get it." Squid looked at Zigzag as he just looked around.
"Have a nice day." Mr Sir then got in his truck then began to drive away.
"I doubt it..." Chloe mummbled and used her hat to blow air into her face. "This damn heat is killing me!"
"Hey, guys." Magnet smiled as he watched Mr Sir drive further away from them all. "Anybody want some sunflower seeds?" He lifted up the sack of seeds as most of the boys wanted some, not including Zero and Barge. "I can help it, man. My hands are like magnets!" X-Ray ran to Magnet and got a hand full of seeds.
"Mr Sticky Fingers!" Squid joked as X-Ray gave the sack to Armpit as he grabbed a hand full.
"I'll take some of those!" Zigzag held his hand out to catch the sack as he grabbed his own hand full.
"Zig, come on, man. Hurry up." Caveman called out as they all noticed that Mr Sir was coming back because he realised that the seeds were missing.
"Guys! Mr Sir's coming back! He's coming back!" Magnet stood up in worry as Zigzag chuckled the sack to Caveman and he missed the catch and the seeds went everywhere in his hole.
He panicked and tried to hide them all as Mr Sir parked the truck, got out and looked around the holes.
"Well, well. How did that get there?" Mr Sir noticed the sack and seeds that were badly not hidden well.
"What?"
"How did that get there? Did it fall from the sky, huh?"
"No..." Stanley grabbed the sack and gave it back and looked at Magnet. "I stole it out of your truck."
"No, he didn't!" Chloe yelled as they all looked at her in shock worry. "It was..." She looked at Magnet and sighed deeply. "It was me, Mr Sir. I got hungry, so I decided to take your sunflower seeds as a snack, then I threw it in Caveman's hole to try to hide the fact that it was me."
Mr Sir knew this was a lie because he kept his eyes on her since he arrived.
"Maybe the Warden would like to see what you found. You two come with me." He was talking to Chloe and Stanley. "Let's go." He turned to walk to his truck as Stanley sadly followed. Chloe walked over to Magnet and snarled at him, making him slip into the dirt. "Y'all having a nice day?"
"Yes, Mr Sir." Squid answered and continued to dig his hole.
"Hey, what you doing, dawg?" X-Ray whispered to Caveman/Stanley and Barge/Chloe.
As they all left, Chloe sat in the back of the truck, next to the water carrier and Caveman took the front seat. The rest of them looked at each other.
"She's gonna beat you up, Mag." Zigzag told Magnet as he gulped and continued to dig. "She'll kill him probably."
"Man, shut up!" Squid chuckled.
Zero got out and jumped into Caveman's hole and began to dig at a face pace to get his hole done quickly. He wanted to help Barge as well, but he didn't have time for the two.
Zigzag watched this and felt bad for Barge. He sighed and started to dig in her hole for a little bit.

Meanwhile, Chloe and Stanley stoof behind Mr Sir as he knocked on the door of the Warden's cabin.
"What?" She asked, peeking through her curtain.
"We found something in Caveman's hole." This made her excited as she opened the door, letting the three people inside.
"What is it? What did you find? Come in, you're letting the cold out."
"Tell her." Mr Sir told the two as she looked at them both. Chloe was afraid and Stanley looked at her sadly.
"While Mr Sir was filling our canteens, me and Barge made a plan and snuck into his truck, and stole his sunflower seeds." He lied, but he made it far too believable.
"Yeah. That's it." Mr Sir nodded. The Warden was disappointed and looked at him.
"Caveman, Barge. Would you kindly bring me the brass case in the bureau over there, with my nail polish in it?" She asked, pointing over to the shelves.
"Y-Yeah, sure." Chloe nodded as the two walked over to the cabinet, having a small look around.
As Mr Sir sat down, he started to talk to the Warden.
"Them little diddles think I don't have eyes in the back of my head. But I don't miss much, as you well know. My philosophy is, see, I keep 'em in line. Punishment and reward. Punishment, reward. Everytime they see me coming, a little shiver goes up their spine. D-tent's a snaky little bunch, you know. They think they're a step ahead of me, but I'm miles ahead of them. I come back at night, I look around, I see in their eyes they know I know." He told the Warden as Caveman and Barge walked over to them, holding the brass case.
"Come right over here, you two." She smiled at them as Caveman gave her thr case. "Thank you. See this? This is my special nail polish. I make it myself." She shook the pink nail polish in her hand as the three looked in confusion. "You want to know my secret ingredient?" Mr Sir slowly stood up and she brushed it alone her fingers. "Rattlesnake venom." Barge's and Caveman's eyes widened at this in shock. "I just love what it does to the colouring. It's perfectly harmless... when it's dry." She ran her fingers dowm Caveman's cheeks as he was afraid now. "So you think they stole your sunflower seeds?"
"No, I don't. I think they're covering for X-Ray or somebody. It was a five-pound sack and he claims to have eaten it all."
"But-but, it was only half full when we got it. And there's a lot in my hole. You can go check that." Caveman told him and showed him the empty sack.
"I will. I will check your-" Mr Sir was then slapped in the face by the Warden as stinging pains hit his cheek as he fell to the floor in a lot of pain. "All I give you is respect and affection!"
"I suggest you two go back to your holes now." The Warden walked towards the two as they walked backwards in fear.
"Why'd you do that, Lou!?" Both campers ran out of the cabin and panted heavily.
"I liked you better when you smoked."

"I can't believe that just happened..." Chloe panted as they walked together.
"If we knew it wasn't us then why take us there for nothing?" Stanley asked as she shrugged.
"I was soo scared. Thank you for answering for us."
"Don't worry." He smiled as they walked to their holes.
