Kion's bedroom
Kion just woke up from his sleep, he quickly get up from his bed and grab his towel to get a shower.
Kion: "Kiara was lucky that she didn't need to go to school anymore. Sooner or later, she's gonna be in college with Kovu." He said to himself.
He remembers that Kiara got her first kiss on her last day of school. When he recalled that memory, he started to feel jealous.
Kion: "True, I may be a popular kid in school. If only there was a girl who liked me, most of the girls who liked me at school were shy and I didn't like it, most of them are not my type and that's not the type of girl I dreamed of."
Rani's house
Rani had just finished her shower, she put on her clothes and went downstairs. She saw baliyo was drinking warm water and a tuna sandwich.
Baliyo: "Morning, sis." He said with a joyful smile.
Rani: "Morning Baliyo." she smiled back at him.
Baliyo: "Ready to go to school?"
Rani: "Ready as always." she sits in the dining chair.
Nirmala: "Did you finish your homework?"
Rani: "Yes, aunt Nirmala. I just finished it yesterday."
Baliyo: "Do you want a tuna sandwich? I made one for you." He gave the sandwich to Rani
Rani: "Thank Baliyo, I'll appreciate it." She took the sandwich from Baliyo.
Baliyo: "You're welcome." He thanked her back.
Surak: "I don't want to interrupt but can you please take your bag and get in the car, it's getting late."
Baliyo: "Ohh, alright."
Rani: "Sorry, uncle surak."
They both took their bags and rushed to the car.
Kion's house
After he finished taking a shower, he wear his sleeveless blue hoodie with black stripes, and white trousers and wore his white watch in his left hand. Even though he had finished putting on his clothes, he was still in a hurry. He looked at his watch and the time was still early so he started to slow down a bit.
He got out of his room and descend the second floor with sliding stairs hold.
Kion: "Wow, the last time I did that I've fall off the stairs and hurt myself. It was embarrassing." He remembers when he did that for the first time, he actually falls and nearly broke his right wrist.
Kion: "Good thing mom and dad weren't mad at me."
He went to the kitchen and eat the cheese sandwich that his mother made for breakfast, he finished that sandwich quickly.
Simba: "Come on, Kion, you don't wanna be late."
Kion: "I know, dad." He put on his blue Nike shoe, took his school bag and get inside the car.
Highschool
Meanwhile, Rani and Baliyo are already at high school. Many students do their things like hanging out, sleeping in class, talking on their cell phones, some of them checking their stuff in the locker hallway, and some gangs of bullies like to bully other students. All of these things are common in every high school.
Baliyo: "Bye, Rani. See you later."
Rani: "Bye, Baliyo."
They both split up and went to their classes.
Classroom
Rani went into her classroom and sat in her seat, she saw no one sitting at the front desk. She got up from her seat and asked her best friend.
Rani: "Hi, Fuli." She greeted her best friend.
Fuli: "Hi, Rani, good morning."
Rani: "Good morning to you too. By the way, have you seen Kion?"
Fuli: "Nope, I haven't seen him. Why?"
Rani: "Nothing, I'm just asking."
Fuli: "You like him? You fall in love with him?" Fuli smirked at her.
Rani: "What!? No!"
Fuli: "Then why are you blushing?"
Fuli saw her blushing, Rani doesn't want anyone to know her secret lover.
Rani: "I... I... Uh, um... I'm not blushing actually."
Fuli: "Okay, I believe you."
Rani was relieved. She began to change the subject.
Rani: "Did you finish your homework?"
Fuli: "Almost."
Rani: "Almost? Why don't you finish your homework?"
Fuli: "I got stuck at question number 7."
Rani: "Don't worry, I'll help you."
Fuli: "Thanks, Rani. You're the best."
Fuli took her homework and her pencil case and put them on her desk. Fuli showed her the question she could not answer.
Rani: "Name at least 3 of the plant hormones and explain one of the hormone functions." She reads the question.
Fuli: "We have Gibberellins, Cytokinins and... Uh?"
Rani: "Come on, Fuli. You can answer it." She encouraged Fuli.
Fuli: "Oh my gosh, I don't like science, it's confused me."
Rani: "Same here, sometimes science confuses me. But I just keep studying until I'll understand the question."
Fuli: "Good for you."
Rani: "You are smart in this class but if you work hard enough, you will succeed."
Fuli: "My goal is to become a runner athlete, not some mad scientist."
Rani: "I know, I'm just supporting you."
Kion: "She's right!"
Both Rani and Fuli are surprised by his arrival.
Fuli: "Since when did you arrive?"
Kion: "Just now."
Fuli: "Where's Bunga?"
Kion: "I don't know. We just wait for 2 to 3 minutes."
Rani was daydreaming when Kion was in front of her, she didn't even realize that Kion was calling her.
Kion: "Hello? Rani? Are you okay?"
Rani was still daydreaming until Kion snapped his fingers.
Rani: "Whoa, what happened?"
Kion: "You're just daydreaming."
Rani: "Really? I didn't even realize it."
Kion: "By the way, I heard there's a new teacher. He is a wolf."
Rani: "Okay, A wolf. What's wrong with it?"
Kion: "The good news is our science teacher is not healthy today and can't afford to come to work so she took a sick leave."
Fuli: "Oh, you mean, Mrs Sayansi."
Kion: "Yeah, that's the one."
Rani: "That leopard is good at teaching us but she was hot-headed."
Fuli: "Yup, a quick-tempered leopard."
Kion: "Remember the new teacher I was talking about?"
Rani: "Yeah, the wolf guy."
Kion: "He will replace our science teacher temporarily."
Fuli: "Okay, what's his name?"
Kion: "His name is pretty funny." Kion started to laugh.
Rani: "Why are you laughing?"
Kion: "Nothing, it's just that his name is so funny."
Fuli: "Okay, seriously, what's his name?"
Kion couldn't answer her question because he just kept laughing.
Rani: "What's so funny about his name?"
Kion: "Okay, his name is... "
Before he can answer, Bunga the honey badger arrived in the classroom but he quickly told everyone to sit at their desk.
Bunga: "Everyone! Teacher's coming!"
All students rushed to their seats. As the new teacher walks in, everyone is not familiar with this new teacher, Kion heard some students whispering.
Jasiri: "Do we have a new teacher?" Jasiri whispered to Bunga.
Bunga: "I don't know, maybe yes."
Beshte: "Who is this new guy?"
Bunga: "How do I suppose to know!"
Teacher: "All right, everyone please be quiet."
All the students were silent and listened to what the teacher had to say.
Teacher: "You all may not know me but I am the new teacher at this school and I am replacing your teacher temporarily."
Jasiri raised her hand.
Teacher: "Yes? There is a question you want to ask?"
Jasiri: "What happened to Mrs Sayansi?"
Teacher: "She said she was unwell, so she took sick leaves."
All the students nodded, and the students were relieved their teacher did not come to class today. Kion whispered to himself including his close friends.
Kion: "Yes, no need to submit homework today."
Bunga: "I know, right."
Teacher: "You can all do your own but don't be too noisy, do you understand?"
The whole class: "Yes, sir!"
Teacher: "Good."
The whole class began to do their work. Some of them take a nap, playing their cell phone, chatting as is usually done by every student.
Kion doesn't know what to do so he moves to his chair and sat down next to Bunga, Beshte joining in too. Bunga starts the conversation with a joke.
Bunga: "Hey, Kion?"
Kion: "Yes?"
Bunga: "You remember me as a friend in a week, right?"
Kion: "Yes, of course."
Bunga: "You remember me as a friend in a month, right?"
Kion: "Yeah."
Bunga: "You remember me as a friend in a year, right?"
Kion: "This is getting awkward, you're my best friend and of course, I would never forget about you."
Bunga: "Knock-knock."
Kion: "Who's there?"
Bunga: "See, you've forgotten me already."
Kion, Bunga and Beshte started to laugh.
Kion: "Wow, Bunga that's a good one."
Beshte: "Where did you get that joke from?"
Bunga: "I search it on the internet."
Besthe: "What kind of colour is your shirt? It looks bluish."
Kion: "Yeah, it's like a mixture of blue and green."
Bunga: "It's cyan colour."
Kion: "What kind of colour is your shirt, Beshte?"
Beshte: "It's maroon red."
Bunga: "I thought it was crimson red."
Beshte: "Nope, it's maroon red."
Kion: "Is it new?
Beshte: "I just bought it 3 days ago."
Kion, Bunga and Beshte continue their conversation, Rani was sitting behind Kion's desk so she move her chair and sat down next to Fuli.
Rani: "He is very handsome."
Fuli: "Who? Is it Kion you're talking about?"
Rani: "Uh, yeah."
Fuli: "He is handsome."
Rani: "Don't you want him to be your boyfriend?"
Fuli: "I do want him to be my boyfriend but I realize that we are not the same species."
Rani: "Obviously."
Fuli: "Plus, he's not my type, not someone I dream of."
Rani: "Did you find someone else?"
Fuli: "Yes, his name is Azaad. He just like me, we're both wanted to become an athlete runner, we both love to do things that we like in common."
Rani: "So, where is he?"
Fuli: "He is not present today."
Rani: "Owh."
