"You guys are so cute together. Dimitri cares so much for you Artemis," Lana said as she stretched out on her bed.
"Hmm yes, if only there was a way you could repay him," Bria yawned and curled up on the sofa with a magazine in her hand while Everice sat by the window and I sat next to Lana.
"Yes I did, this afternoon after he spanked me, we kissed and I touched his chest and admired his glorious body," I said blushingly.
"Did you touch him anywhere else?" Lana inquired.
"Well no I didn't," I admitted.
"Well Artemis that's not paying him back. Paying him back is fulfilling his needs. You're a virgin right?" Bria asked.
"I am," I said a little shyly.
"Good. You first have to get away from here and go somewhere peaceful where it's just the two of you," Bria said as she put the magazine down and started to pace the floor. "If you guys can spend a week or two away from Crimson Blood, you can strengthen the mate bond and learn to fully trust each other. It'll be good for Caroline and Roman too."
"Dimitri has a vacation house on the outskirts of Tropic Breeze Pack. Alpha Daryl Goran is a longtime friend of Dad's. We helped him a few years ago when his father died and his pack went downhill. When they were back on their feet, Daryl gave Dimitri a piece of land and he had a vacation property built. Tropic Breeze is a very peaceful pack and they live in the tropics, like the name implies," Everice said.
"Will he have the time to go? I mean he is an Alpha after all. Doesn't he have pack duties to attend to?" I asked twiddling my thumbs. "He may be too busy for a vacation."
"Artemis he's your mate. He'll always have time for you. And if he doesn't have time, he'll make time," Bria said comfortingly.
"Exactly. When Vince and I were just getting used to our still new relationship, I didn't think he'd have time for me, but he always managed to spend time with me," Lana said.
"Okay so go on downstairs and call him to his room and convince him to take you on a holiday to Tropic Breeze," Everice said as she pushed me out the door.
"This is so not necessary. He's busy-" I started to protest.
"JUST GO ARTEMIS!" the three of them exclaimed in unison.
I groaned and walked back downstairs where the guys were watching some football game.
"Dimitri cam I talk to you a minute please?" I asked softly.
He instantly turned around and saw me standing there and smiled tenderly and nodded.
"I'll be right back guys, let me know what are the tallies for who won," he said as he took my arm and led me to the kitchen.
"Yes my love what is it?" he asked with a smile.
"I..I just wanted to...well, you have a vacation house in Tropic Breeze Pack and I would love it if you and I could go on a vacation there so we can learn to properly trust each other and have some fun together as a couple," I blurted out in a rush.
Dimitri stared at me for a minute and I could see he was NOT expecting that. I felt like a perfect and complete idiot.
"I'm sorry Dimitri, Bria, Lana and Everice put me up to this," I said. "You're probably too busy to go on a vacation. I shouldn't have asked."
"Artemis," Dimitri said.
"I know you're busy, you may not say it, but I know. You have a pack to run, it's no easy task. What was I thinking!"
"Artemis listen to me,"
"I'm just gonna go take a walk or something. You go back and do whatever it is you were doing. You're a busy man Dimitri-"
I stopped talking the moment Dimitri planted his lips on mine. He pressed me up against the counter and wrapped his arms around me while kissing me deeply and passionately. I moaned into the kiss and wrapped my arms around his neck and returned the favour.
When our lips detached, my face was red and my lips swollen.
"You talk too much," he softly whispered.
"So I've been told," I said.
"So you want to go on a vacay to Tropic Breeze hmm?" he asked.
"If you're up to it. I would love it if you and I could spend some quality time together," I told him.
"Sounds good to me, I don't have much to do these past few days except receive s couple phone calls. But other than that, I'm free," he said as he kissed me on my cheek. "Roman and Caroline deserve to spend some time together."
"So when can we go?" I asked.
"Tomorrow morning? I have to meet with my Dad to discuss some pack business in an hour. In the meantime, pack some clothes for us for a week. Tropic Breeze Pack is very... hot. So make sure to pack summer wear," Dimitri replied.
I nodded and turned to leave but Dimitri pulled me back by my arm and I smashed into his chest.
"You and I are going on a week's vacation. A tropical vacation, just make sure and pack some bathing suits, we have a pool and a jacuzzi. I'm already plagued with visions of you in a bikini," he said as he kissed my hand.
"Luckily I bought a few of them when me and the girls went to Victoria Secret. At first I didn't want to buy such things, but now that you mention it-"
I paused to jump up and wrap my legs around his waist.
"Now that you mention it, I'm glad I bought them. Nothing too outrageous, but not simple either."
"Well go on ahead and pack then. The sooner I get rid of the pack business I have pending, the sooner we can get to bed and wait for morning to come," Dimitri said as he spun around with me in his arms. I giggled and hugged his around his neck. Then he put me down and kissed me again.
"Dimitri Death's Brew Pack won the game!" I heard Todd yell from the living room.
"I'm coming!" Dimitri shouted as he groaned and released me.
"What a buzzkill," I pouted.
"Don't worry love, once we leave here and go off on our vacay, we'll be all alone. And I'll have you all to myself," Dimitri said seductively as he blew me a kiss.
I blushed and turned to leave the kitchen to start packing. Tropical clothes hmm?
I entered the Alpha's Chambers and opened the closet doors and took down first Dimitri's then my suitcase. I then began to pack up our clothes. They were a lot of clothes so I ended up getting two smaller ones for our toiletries. I was just about to close my second suitcase when I noticed a small bag on the bed.
I picked it up and shook it to see what was on it, I heard clothes rustling around so I emptied its contents on the bed and when I saw what the they were, I gave a small shriek. Bathing suits. But who was I kidding? More like lacy pieces of cloth.
Next to the bag was a note. I picked it up and read it.

"We have such caring friends," Caroline swooned. "They knew you were too chicken to do this so they saved you the troubles."
"Shut up! What will Dimitri think of me when he sees me wearing such things?!" I wailed.
"He'll think he died and went to heaven," was her simple reply.
I groaned and stuffed the clothes in the bag they came in when I heard footsteps outside the door. I zipped up the suitcases and placed them on the floor just as Dimitri entered the room with his parents and Everice.
"Good news love, Dad heard about our plans and offered to take care of everything while we're gone. So we can leave today itself if you want to," Dimitri said smiling at me.
"That's right sweetie, go on and have fun with your mate. Tropic Breeze Pack is a marvelous place to spend time with each other," Mrs Chekhov said winking at me.
"That's great, I already packed our belongings, let's take a shower, eat something and we'll leave," I said happily.
"Okay let's go take a shower, should we use the shower or the tub?" Dimitri asked suggestively.
"Let's use the shower. It's quicker and-" I stopped mid-sentence when I realized what he was implying. Let's take a shower?
"You go first. I'll make something in the meantime," I said hurriedly as I turned and walked quickly out of the room with Everice's hysterical laughter following me out the door.
