SUMMARY: It's time for an NCIS:LA baby
Chapter 1
Nell's POV
*8 months into pregnancy*
"Come on Nell we're going to be late," Eric called out to me.
"Yeah, hang on I'm nearly ready," I said back. I was 8 months into my pregnancy and it was time for my monthly check up I put on my socks and shoes as quickly as I could "you try putting on socks and shoes when you can't see your toes," I said to Eric getting in the car he chuckled and got in we drove off and within minutes we were at the hospital. We sat in the waiting room for about an hour when finally, my doctor called us in. "Ok by now I think you know the process, this is some gel it's going to be could, but you're probably used to it," smiled the nurse I looked at the monitor and saw my baby boy sitting in my stomach, the nurse pointed at the screen "there he is, riiiight there," she smiled I started crying again, I did this every month but I didn't care I had a little baby inside me and it belonged to me and the one I love. Eric grabbed my hand and rubbed the top of it with his thumb the nurse left us alone for a few minutes and gave us a picture "there's our little boy Eric," I said smiling. We left after I calmed down when we got home I had an epiphany "Eric,"
"What!" He yelled worried and confused
"I just thought of something," he breathed a sigh of relief
"And what would that be?" He asked kissing my neck
"We haven't done the baby room yet," I said. Eric smiled
"Well we best get onto that before the baby comes," he said smiling "and how are you planning on designing the room?" Eric asked
"Well.... since it's a boy, how about we have a baby blue walls with little clouds on them," I suggested Eric smiled we walked towards the empty spare room in our little four-bedroom house we looked in and I got the ultimate picture of our little boy's room" what are you thinking?" Eric asked, snapping me out of my train of thought
"Well... how about his cradle here a little blue rug over there, a changing table over here, a dresser over there were we can put his little clothes in and a rocking chair next to his box of toys that we brought," I said walking around the room and pointing like a lunatic. Eric smiled "that sounds good, I will have to ask Deeks, Sam and Callen to help paint it whilst we buy the furniture," I smiled we were all on a one-week holiday because we had all put in over time to work last week's case and as of Friday I was on maternity leave. "That's sounds good why don't you call them now and see if they will come over tomorrow and do it for us, they already painted Callen and Joelle's baby room I'm sure they won't mind painting our baby room," I said smiling. Joelle was 6 months along in her pregnancy but knowing them both they were super prepared 3months in, they had gotten their baby room sorted and they had already thought of names for their two little girls. So, Eric called Callen, Deeks and Sam and asked if they could paint our baby room "you're only just sorting out your baby room?" Callen asked
"I'd love to, I like helping out with geek love," Sam said making me and Eric laugh.
"Sure, thing Mc Beale," Deeks replied

In a few minutes Deeks, Sam and Callen would be here along with Kensi, Michelle and Joelle. Whilst the guys painted the baby room us wives would be shopping for baby clothes and furniture. Then we would all have a barbeque lunch, we left the house as soon as they got here we went straight to 'Babies-R-US' they had everything we bought everything we came for and a little more, whilst I was there I had them secretly engrave our boys full name into a gold and oval plate Kensi also did the same thing for their baby girl. Eric and I had decided on a name as soon as we figured out it was a boy that we were having, I paid for the plate and hid it in my bag. A few hours later we left and headed home stopping for smoothies on our way, when we got home the guys were outside drinking beer and the barbeque was heated and the meat was cooking the guys talked about guy stuff and we talked about our kids. Sam and Michelle's baby girl had just turned two, Joelle was 7 months along, I was 8 and Kensi was 5 months along. "So, girls what did you buy?" Deeks asked. We got up and went to the baby room it looked great and the sun shined in, giving the room a nice LA glow. The guys unpacked the boxes and put the furniture where we discussed, an hour later and the room was ready and looking great" I love it, thanks guys you've been such a big help," I said smiling trying not to get teary in front of them. We went back outside and ate a lovely lunch and talked for the rest of the afternoon.

Chapter 2
Eric's POV
*1 month later*
I was really worried about Nell she was 6 days overdue the doctor said If was normal but I didn't think so. Nell patted me on the back and said "don't worry he will come out when he wants to come out, he's probably being stubborn and wants to sleep longer," she said trying to comfort me, I knew from the sounds of her voice that she was worried "yeah you're probably right," I said with a small smile I helped her get into bed and comfy and then she fall asleep I couldn't sleep I was worried to much I had butterflies in my stomach our go bags were ready just in case, I walked towards our unborn sons room and stared in I don't know how long I stood there for but I soon heard Nell scream I ran into our room to see if she was ok "Nell what's wrong?" I asked panicking she looked at me and smiled
"The baby's coming," it took a while for me to process but I quickly grabbed Nell's slippers and changed my pyjama pants into jeans I put Nell's slippers on her feet and helped her up I put my arm around her waist and placed her arm around my shoulder for support I grabbed our go bags and got Nell in the car "Oww... Oww," she moaned "OWWW!" she screamed and then she started to cry "Eric hurry... please," she cried in pain I got out my phone and called the hospital
"Ahh... hello... yeah Eric Beale here I am calling to let you know that my wife has gone into labour and that I am on my way now could you please get the doctor... she's in a lot of pain... ok thanks... bye," I hung up and ribbed Nell's stomach gently "it's ok we're nearly there it's gonna be alright," I smiled driving as fast as I could. We got to the hospital a minute later and the nurses came rushing out with a wheelchair we got Nell into the wheelchair and they rushed her off to a hospital bed "Excuse me... get out the way... pregnant little lady in a lot of pain coming through!" Yelled the nurse in front of Nell
"Sir I think it's best you wait in the waiting area this may take a while," one of the nurses said to me whilst they got Nell on the hospital bed. I nodded and went to the waiting area.

7hours later
It has been 7 hours since Nell went into labour, and I haven't heard anything on how she is doing worried I called Hetty knowing she would be awake I told her everything and she said she was on her way a few minutes later the whole team came through the door with their wives and Hetty trailed behind them they ran towards me and gave me a hug "have you heard anything yet?" Kensi asked I shook my head "nothing, she has been in there for 7 hours, multiple doctors have come through but none with information on Nell." I said worried
"I'm sure she'll be ok," Sam said patting me on the back.
Another hour went by and still nothing, then we heard a loud scream followed by a baby's cry. A doctor came out and towards us "congratulations, sir right this way," the doctor said directing us to Nell's room just down the hall.
Chapter 3
Nell's POV
After hours and hours of pain, blood, sweat and tears our baby was finally here after the umbilical cord was cut and our boy was cleaned up the doctor left to get Eric. I held our little boy in my arms and smiled as he grabbed my thumb "just in here sir," I heard the doctor say suddenly Eric and the others appeared luckily the room was big enough to fit them all in. Eric came towards me slowly, smiling as he saw our son the others looked at me with a smile "meet Hunter Dean Beale," I said to them all, they smiled and sat down on the chairs provided. I handed Hunter to Eric and he smiled looking down at our son" welcome to the family Hunter," he said choking up a little he rubbed his tummy gently with his thumb and Hunter grabbed on to it and started playing with it "he is so small," Kensi cried
"Just like his Mum," Sam grinned. I laughed at him and looked over to see Hunter had fallen asleep in Eric's arms I could feel the tears forming in my eyes
"We will leave you two alone and head home," Callen said motioning everyone out of the room
"CONGRATULATIONS!" they all said at the same time and then they left. Hetty stayed for a little longer to give a Hunter a cuddle
"Hetty will you be the godmother?" Eric asked catching me off guard
"I'd love to be the godmother," she smiled handing Hunter back to me "I'll leave you three alone," she said leaving us in peace
"I hope you don't mind, but it just felt right to ask Hetty to be the godmother," Eric said looking at me worried, I smiled
"I don't mind I was thinking the same thing," I put Hunter in his cradle and gave Eric a big kiss
"Nell, you can go to sleep now, it has been a long day," Eric said rubbing my forehead I leant back and drifted into a happy deep sleep where I dreamt about Hunter and Eric.
