Reagan sat on the sofa in the living room with her aunt as they watched the news.
"A large, scaly creature was spotted lurking outside a Hunter Hills home two nights ago." The news reporter says.
Margaret sighs. "Let me guess, you and your friends?"
"Wrong." Reagan laughs. "My boyfriend."
A smile forms on her aunt's lips. "Benny, huh? So you two are doing good? Have you said the 'L' word yet?"
Reagan looks away as a blush rises to her cheeks. "Yeah actually. A couple of weeks ago. He was the first one to say it -- beat me to it, though."
Margaret chuckles. "You two were always competitive. I can just imagine how your guys' relationship is."
The girl opens her mouth to speak when the ringing of her cellphone cuts her off. She and her aunt look down to see Benny's name pop up.
"Better answer that," Margaret sang before exiting the living room. Reagan rolls her eyes before answering.
"Hey, B. What's going on?"
Benny nervously laughs on the other line. "So, we may have just found out some new information regarding our alligator friend."
"And what's that?"
"... It seems like our alligator friend has a friend of its own, meaning they're breeding. And now we need you to come to help us."
Reagan groans. "Benjamin Weir, when this is over, you're gonna wish you never made that potion."

When Reagan arrived at Ethan's house, she and Benny stood behind the Morgan boy as he was hacking into the phone's location. Sarah and Erica looked bored from what was happening.
"As long as Erica's phone is still in the alligator's stomach..." Ethan begins until Benny cuts him off.
"Then we call anyone who got eaten, and find out where they were!" Benny exclaims. "I can hack into the satellite and pinpoint the exact location of the alligator," Ethan says.
"And... voila." Ethan waits for recognition from his friends when he nears nothing. "Oh come on! No reactions? That was a lot harder than it looks."
"That thing's working its way up into Hunter Hills mansion country." Sarah points out as she looks at the map.
"Very high class. Lots of hot tubs." Erica comments.
"That was 126-bit encryption I just hacked through!" Ethan complains.
"I thought it was awesome," Benny says, giving his best friend a high-five.
"Wait, where was Heather last seen?" Sarah asks. "Tad McGillis's mansion."
"That's it! Where else would a tropical sewer-dwelling lizard be able to make it through the winter? Under a hot tub!" Ethan realizes.
"Isn't Tad having another party today?" Erica questions.
"Yeah, a pool party." Reagan nods.

"Are the costumes really necessary?" Sarah asks the boys. As Sarah, Erica, and Reagan walk on the front lawn, the boys walked behind them.
Ethan, Benny, and Rory were wearing some type of clothing a person would wear when hunting alligators in a documentary.
"What? We need to be prepared when we get down and dirty with this croc." Benny defends.
"I refuse to enter a senior party with them dressed like this." Erica whines.
The three girls were able to walk in, but the boys were stopped by the seniors blocking the door. "Let's go in the back way."
Walking to the back, the three vampires smirk. "So many dining choices. It kinda feels like picking your own lobster at Captain Pinchey's."
Reagan went to comment when she smelt something terrible, followed by the boys walking up behind them. "Hey-Oh, what is that?" Ethan says in disgust.
"It smells like a burning tire!" Benny groans. Sarah turns to her friends flustered before muttering, "I'm going to go to the bathroom!" She quickly walks away.
"She's gassy. It's an overeating thing." Reagan explains.
"I'm going to go find a snack. I think I'm in the mood for a blonde." Erica says before walking away. "TMI."
"Come on. Let's give these seniors JEI." Ethan smirks, but it quickly falls when he saw the confused looks on his friend's faces. "Just Enough Information? You know, to save themselves?"
"Just go do it!" Benny snaps.
Ethan runs over to the DJ's booth where Tad was playing the music before reaching for the microphone. "Hey! There is a man-eating mutant alligator headed right towards this house!" Everyone began to laugh at him. "Everyone get out of the water!" Tad grabs the microphone out of Ethan's hands, motioning him to go away.
Ethan shrugs as he walks back over to where the others were sitting. "I guess we're gonna have to do this the old-fashion way."
"Run and call the police." Rory answers. "No. We wait for it to show itself, then we give that gator some wicked indigestion." Ethan sits, setting his bag on the table.
"Good snacks at this party. Anyone got anymore SPF 1000?" Erica smiles as she joins them. "What's the dork squad up to now?"
"Well, the alligator should come up right under the hot tub. Then all we have to do is get it to come up through the grate and open wide." Ethan answers.
"Then in goes the liquid kaboom," Benny smirks as he watches Reagan flick the potion with her finger, making it sparkle red.
"You know it's pathetic how good you guys are at this stuff," Erica tells them. She picks up one of the bottles from the table. "But your proportions are way off. You need more soda."
Rory takes the bottle from her hands. "She's right. How did you know that?"
"Because before she was a vampire, she was a mega nerd, remember?" Benny smirks. Erica hisses at the boy, pinning his chair.
"Remind anyone of that again and you're toast, get it?"
"Got it!" Benny squeaks.
"Guys." Ethan gets their attention. "The thing's getting close." He points at his phone that shows the location of the alligator. "Who's the bait?"
The three boys glance at each other before shouting, "Rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock!"
"Darn it!"
"Yes!"
Ethan and Benny groan as they lost against Rory.

Reagan watches as Benny walks to the hot tub, but as soon as he entered, the two girls left and walked away. Ethan soon joins him.
Reagan's attention was averted to the phone that was beeping. Erica and her glance at each other. Erica snatches the phone before the two walks over to the boys.
"Guys, it's right under us."
"Maybe we're doing this wrong," Benny says. "What if the cell phone's just drifting underneath and we--"
Benny's suggestion was cut short by the splashing of water in front of them. Ethan and Benny quickly run out of the water.
"Ethan, now!" Reagan shouts.
"I'm not ready!" Ethan replies. "Rory, grab that hot tub cover!"
Rory and Benny run to the hot tub and covers it as they waited for Ethan to finish with the potion. "I don't like this plan!" Rory yells. Ethan runs over and tries to force the bottle into the alligator's mouth without getting bitten.
Regan and Erica run over as Erica takes the bottle. "Eat science!"
She shoves the potion into the alligator's mouth. They run back to the pool chairs. They hid themselves as the alligator exploded, scales all over the place.
"Did we win?"
"I just peed my swimsuit, can you tell?" Ethan asks Benny. "It's cool. Just go with it."
Tad walks up behind Reagan, Rory, and Benny, grabbing the boys' shoulder. "We took a vote, and you nerds can stay." He tells them before looking at Ethan. "But you gotta tell your girlfriend to stop polluting the bathroom 'cause it smells like a dead skunk in there." Tad then walks away.
"He thinks Sarah's my girlfriend!"

"So, did you fix that little problem you had?" Erica asks Sarah as the two and Reagan walk down the hall. "Problem is solved. I'm eating a lot less now. No more blood buffets."
They stop walking when they saw Ethan, Benny, and Rory strut at the end of the hall. "They did not..." Reagan mutters. The three boys were wearing different items of clothing from the alligator's skin.
"Pretty sweet boots, huh?" Ethan shows them his boots.
"I have alligator socks," Benny adds.
"And I've got alligator under--" Reagan quickly slaps her hand over Rory's mouth. "I do not need to know that information." She tells him before removing her hand.
"Normally I'd have a problem with wearing animal skins, but since it was an evil mutant toilet gator, I guess it's okay," Sarah tells them.
Erica furrows her eyebrows. "So they can steal things from their victims? What a double-standard!"
Erica walks away from the group while Sarah and Reagan remain. Reagan smiles as she goes to her boyfriend's side. Benny slings his arm around her shoulder.
"You know, I have one question for you." Reagan looks up at the boys. "What are you going to do about that alligator locked in the supply closet?" She smirks.
Their eyes widen before two of the three runs in the opposite direction. Benny removes his arm around Reagan before pecking her cheek. "I love you!"
Reagan chuckles with Sarah as they head to class.
