The day of Renjun and Bora's parents death.
Bora just got out from her school, heading towards her nanny, "nanny! Can we get some ice creams and hotpot? Renjun gege is sick so he didn't go to school today, he likes to eat hotpot!"
Her nanny giggled before nodding her head, "of course we can Bora, c'mon let's stopped at the nearby restaurant and buy hotpot"
Bora happily hopped inside the car before her nanny drove away to the nearby restaurant.

Once she arrived at her house her nanny sense something bad so grabbed Bora's hand tightly, walking slowly towards their house.
They could hear screaming and yelling from inside making the little girl scared. "nanny –" her nanny immediately shushed her down.
"I told you I will pay by next month!" she heard her father yelled from inside. "I don't want to hear your bullshit anymore, do you have our money?! Or you want me to kill your children?!"
Bora eyes widen as she heard the man words. "don't touch my children you assholes! Stay away from them!" her mother now yelled. "Bora we need to go, it's not safe here" her nanny whispered to her.
"but Renjun ge –"
"bora!" her nanny yelled whispered.
"then we killed you both instead" he said and without hesitation he cocked the gun and pulled the trigger, bullet hitting mother's forehead making tears slipped from Bora's eyes. Her nanny eyes went wide as possible.
The door is wide opened but people inside didn't realize the nanny and the little girl outside.
"mingxia!" her father yelled and before he could crawl towards his wife, the man pointed towards him and pulled the trigger again hitting his chest.
"I just ask you to pay my money" he said before turning around, was about to exit the house but his movement stopped once he saw the nanny and Bora outside froze.
A smirked crept on his face.
"bora, run" her nanny muttered. Her nanny eyes never left the men who are smirking and stepping closer towards them. "bora run!" her nanny pushed the little girl and just on time, a bullet hit the lady's stomach.
Bora gulped and immediately ran away. "catch that girl!" she heard from behind and she ran as fast as she can.
she ran until she saw one convenience store and ran inside. She hid her small body behind some racks. She could heard some men entering the store so she immediately ran out from the store using the back door.
To her luck, she saw a cab from far away. She waved her small hands then the cab stopped in front of her and she immediately hope inside.

Her grandmother stopped by at the police station and saw Renjun sitting inside. Bora who saw her brother ran towards him. "gege!" she said as she hugged the male. Renjun hugged her back before tears rolled down on his face.
"gege is fine" she said as she broke the hug, examine his brother's face. Renjun nodded his head weakly, "where did you go?" he asked but Bora pulled him into a hug again.
"that's not important now gege"

18 years old Renjun, 16 years old Bora (Minhee)
"baby sis! I passed the trainee" he said happily before pulling her sister into a tight hug. "I will find those people who ruin our happiness and our life bora" he said after breaking the hug. Bora smiled happily.
A year ago, their grandmother died because of heart attack so Renjun had to live alone with Bora, he took a lot of part time jobs just continue his live with his sister, he couldn't just rely on the money their parents left.
Bora is also still going to school as usual.
"gege, can I be like you too? I want to catch those people too, can I?" she asked but Renjun warmly smiled. "there's no need Bora, I'm the one who will catch them, you're a girl, it's dangerous for you, baby sis"
Bora pouted "but it's fun! Catching bad people, I want to save people too" Renjun shook his head, "please no Bora, listen to me"

"why is it so hard for you to let me?! I want to be like you too! Helping people! Saving people!" Bora yelled.

Renjun rolled his eyes. "why are you so stubborn, mama and papa told me to protect you!"
"then I want to protect myself too! I want to be strong, I don't want to burden you, I don't want to always rely on you! I want to be independent; I want to find my own money and job"
"I didn't say you can't be independent, you can find your own money and job just not this job, why do you want to be a police like me?"
"I told you! because I want to find those people who ruin our family, let's find them together! Please renjun"

she blurted before walking back towards her room, leaving the male who's calling for her but she doesn't give a single glance towards him.
The next day, Renjun woke up, he tried to wake Bora up but there's no presence of the girl in her room, even her clothes are not there. "no way..."
'I've made my decision, I'm going away, don't search for me, I will be back just not soon'
