BAILEY

February 17, 2014 10:00 a.m.

"Ugh," Bailey groaned as she woke up. "Where are we?"

"I have no idea," groaned Taylor as he woke up. "I can't see anything."

Taylor was right, the room that the two were in was pitch black. The room was pretty cold and it smelled like a basement.

"Let's look for a lightswitch or something," Bailey suggested, and the couple began searching for a lightswitch. After a few minutes, Bailey shouted out, Found one!" and suddenly, the room lit up. There wasn't much in the room, just two wooden chairs and a sink in the corner.

"Well this is a disappointment," Taylor said sarcastically.

"No kidding. It smells like a basement down here," commented Bailey. "Do you remember what happened or anything, because I don't."

"No, I don't remember anything either. I really wonder what happened," said Taylor, starting to sound worried. "Do you think we got kidnapped?"

"No, I don't think so," said Bailey. "Maybe we got into a car accident on the way home and some people found up and brought us here."

"But there aren't any beds or anything in here," pointed out Taylor.

"You do have a point," agreed Bailey. "Let's just try to get out of the door up there."

"Okay," said Taylor as they headed up the stairs that lead to a door. Taylor turned the doorknob, but it was locked.

"Hmm, that's strange," said Bailey. "Try it again." Taylor tried the doorknob once more, but the door didn't budge.

"What's going on here?" questioned Taylor nervously.

"I have no idea," Bailey replied, face going pale. "I'm getting a really bad feeling about this."

"Me too. Should we try knocking and see if someone comes to the door?" suggested Taylor.

"I guess we could. I still don't like this, Taylor."

"I don't either, Bailey, but do you have a better idea?" snapped Taylor.

"Don't yell at me," pouted Bailey.

"I'm sorry, I didn't need to. I'm just nervous like you," Taylor replied calmly. "Let's just try to get this door open." With that, the couple began pounding on the door. After a few minutes, nothing had happened. They hadn't managed to open the door, and no one had come to open the door for them.

"Taylor, this is hopeless. Something's really wrong. If people had rescued us from a car accident, we wouldn't be locked in a basement," Bailey reasoned.

"I know. I guess all we can do is sit and wait for somebody to come," said a frustrated Taylor. He went and flopped down on one of the wooden chairs. Bailey was on her way to join him when suddenly, the doorknob started moving.

"Somebody's coming down here," whispered Bailey.

"Oh, really?" Taylor whispered back sarcastically. Bailey just rolled her eyes. The door opened, and an older-looking man stepped through it. Bailey and Taylor's jaws dropped when they saw who it was.

"Surprised? I thought you would be. I don't think introductions are necessary since I'm pretty sure you already know who I am, and of course I know who you are," said Jeff as he climbed down the stairs.

"Really, Jeff, really? First you kidnap my best friend, then you kidnap my boyfriend's best friend, and now you've decided to kidnap us? Classy, really classy," spat Bailey.

"It's all a part of the plan, sweetheart," smirked Jeff. "Just you wait."

"Don't talk to my girlfriend like that," growled Taylor.

"Taylor, I would keep your mouth shut. I am capable of some very terrible things. You should know that. I'm sure you've seen Rikki's scars and Kade's gunshot wound. Now, if you two cooperate, you won't be harmed. If you try to be difficult, you may never see your families or friends again," said Jeff.

"What do you want from us?" shouted Bailey. "What is wrong with you that you decide to keep kidnapping innocent kids?"

"I actually want nothing from you two," Jeff grinned evilly. "You two are merely here as bait. It's Kade and Rikki that I really want."

"What do you want from them?" questioned Taylor. "You didn't get caught by the police, so why didn't you just run away? You could've escaped, but instead you kidnapped us. If the police catch you, you're not going to get out of jail, ever."

"Running away was all too easy. I don't like easy. I also don't like looking like a fool, something Kade and Rikki made me look like. Those two and their little brats of siblings escaped from me, and that shouldn't have happened. They got my son put in jail, and now Carlos and I have to be careful not to get caught. They made us look stupid, something we're not."

"Um, running away would've been the smart option, so you guys are pretty stupid," Bailey said with an eyeroll.

"Keep disrespecting me and you might not live to see daylight again," spat Jeff. "Anyway, I won't harm you two as long as you cooperate. You are only here to lure in Kade and Rikki. Once Kade and Rikki find our location, which I'm sure they will since they're so smart, I will get my revenge on them. Once I'm done with them, nobody will remember Rikki Roberts or Kade Coleman."

"You're insane!" shouted Taylor. "Your plan will never work!"

"Oh, but it will," said Jeff. "I will be leaving now, and since you two were very disrespectful to me, you won't be getting any meals today." Bailey and Taylor suddenly noticed that their stomachs were growling like mad.

"How long were we asleep?" Bailey asked fearfully.

"Two and a half days," smirked Jeff before he climbed the stairs, locking the door behind him.

"Two and a half days! We were asleep for two and a half days!" shouted Taylor.

"What are we gonna do?" wailed Bailey. "We got freaking kidnapped like Rikki and Kade. We got kidnapped and now we're probably going to die!"

"Bailey, don't talk like that. If we're going to stay alive, then we need to be positive."

"I guess you're right. I'm sorry," muttered Bailey sheepishly. "I just hope we can get out of here soon."

"I just hope we can get out of here before Kade and Rikki find us. If Jeff and Carlos get a hold of them, then they're toast."

"You're right, Taylor," said Bailey. "We have to get out of here and soon, for both our sake and theirs."
