Night had soon fallen and the crowd started to dwindle. Tory has been AWOL since the game and Miguel was just moping around. Y/N tried to hang out with him but he insisted on being alone. Y/N ended up hanging out with Moon and her girlfriend, Piper. She was a nice girl and Y/N was happy that Moon found someone that made her happy.
Y/N went to go get some water when she saw Sam at a table, pouring some vodka into a cup. Robby, also seeing this walked over to her. "Hey, what are you doing?" He questioned. "Don't worry. I'm, like totally fine." Sam slurred. "Sam, sweetie maybe you should drink some water, yeah?" Y/N suggested holding out her bottle of water to Sam. "Y/N's right, you're not acting like yourself. No more drinking." Robby stated, snatching the cup away from her and pouring out its contents.
"What, I'm not allowed to party? Just roller skating for me? You my boyfriend or my babysitter? " Sam mocked. "Just wait I'm gonna get you some food," Robby said. "I'll help you." Y/N piped up, following him into the kitchen. It's now or never.
The two walked into the kitchen and started raiding Moon's fridge, trying to find something for Sam. "So did you mean it?" Y/N asked suddenly. Robby looked at her confused. "Mean what?" He questioned. "That you like me." She answered. Robby's face dropped. "Yeah, I meant it."
"Why didn't you ever tell me?"
"Because you like Miguel. I didn't want to have to compete with him. It's bad enough Sam still likes him."
"Robby, I love you, you know that right?"
"Yeah."
"But you're like a brother to me. I'd do anything for you and I'll always be here for you, ok?"
"I know."
The two hugged each other tightly before pulling back. Y/N let out a small yawn. "I think I'm gonna get going. I'm exhausted." She stated. "Ok, see you at school," Robby replied. He placed a small kiss on her forehead before walking off. Y/N was happy that they cleared the air. She felt bad but she couldn't change how she felt. Even if she wished she could.
Y/N bid goodbye to Moon, Piper, and Aisha before calling an Uber home. Once she reached her apartment, she paid the driver before hopping out. She looked over to the parking lot to see Johnny's car missing. He still must be on his date. I'll talk to him tomorrow.
Y/N walked into her apartment and took a shower before changing into some pajamas. She laid down in her bed with Buddy next to her. "Oh, my sweet boy." She said planting a kiss on his head. He nudged her happily and put his head in her lap. Y/N smiled and laid down. She felt her eyelids getting heavy when a loud banging on her door made her jolt up.
Groaning, she pulled off her covers and walked to the door. She opened it to reveal Miguel. He looked distressed. "Miguel, are you ok?" She asked worriedly, stepping inside so he could come into the apartment. Miguel walked into the apartment and took a seat on her couch. Buddy came bounding over to him and gave him an affectionate lick. "Hey, Buddy," Miguel said, giving him a scratch behind the ear. "So what's wrong?" She asked. "Why do you think something's wrong?" He questioned.
"Well you wouldn't come barging into my apartment at nearly 11:30 on a Sunday Night if something wasn't wrong."
"S-Sam kissed me tonight."
"She did what?!"
"S-she kissed me. We were talking and she almost fell so I caught her and she just kissed me."
"Oh my god."
"What do I do?"
"What do you mean 'what do I do'?"
"Well, she kissed me. Do you think she still likes me?"
"Miguel, she was drunk. She probably didn't mean it. What about Tory?"
"What about her?"
"You can't keep this from her. You can't string her along."
I'm not stringing her along. I'm not that type of guy, Y/N."
"I never said you were."
"Well, you're acting like it!"
"Why are you getting mad at me? I'm just trying to help you!"
"Yeah well, you're doing a shitty job of it!"
"If you feel that way then get out!"
Y/N's words seemed to clear Miguel out of his fogged mind. "Wait Y/N-" He started. "Just get out Miguel. I can't deal with this right now." She stated, cutting him off. Miguel sighed in defeat. With slumped shoulders, he walked to the door and left, slamming it behind him. Once he was gone, Y/N fell onto her couch in defeat. She couldn't do this anymore. She needed to tell him or she'd keep hurting herself. If only things could be so simple.

Y/N woke up the next morning, already dreading going to school. Between her argument with Miguel, the tension between Miyagi Do and Cobra Kai, Miguel and Sam's kiss, and her finding out about Robby's feelings for her, she could already tell it was going to be a bad day. And boy was she right.
Y/N quickly got up and changed into her clothes before grabbing her backpack and exiting her apartment. She quickly grabbed her bike and pedaled towards the school. Usually, she would wait for Miguel but she was still too upset. Maybe she was overreacting a little but she just felt hurt. She needed to tell Miguel how she felt.
Y/N parked her bike in the bike rack before locking it into place. Y/N looked up at the school and sighed. She didn't want to have to face anyone. Y/N dragged her feet towards the entrance, thoughts running through her mind. I forgot to ask Johnny about his date last night. Maybe I should call him.
Y/N pulled her phone out of her pocket and clicked the number on Johnny's number. Maybe he'd be able to help her with the Miguel thing. The phone rang twice before going to voicemail. He declined it. He must be busy, I'll leave a voicemail.
Once she was finished, she hit the end button and slid her phone back into her pocket before walking into the school building. Hopefully, Johnny will see the message and talk to her. He always gave her the best advice.
Y/N walked to her first-period class, Pre-Calculus, and took a seat. She felt someone slid into the seat next to her and looked over to see it was Sam. "Oh hey, Sam." Y/N greeted, unenthusiastically. She was a little annoyed with Sam since she cheated on Robby, one of Y/N's best friends with Miguel, Y/N's other best friend and crush. "Hey, Y/N. Are you ok?" Sam asked, noticing her tone. "Shouldn't I be asking you that? I mean you did kiss another girl's boyfriend while having one of your own. And you got pretty drunk last night." Y/N stated, raising an eyebrow. Sam hung her head.
" You know about that?"
"Miguel told me."
"I feel awful about it."
"Hey, it's ok. Hopefully, things will all work out. And I promise always be here for you."
Sam smiled at Y/N gratefully. "Thank you." She said. Y/N smiled back. "Of course." She replied. "Good morning, students and faculty, welcome to a brand new year at West Valley High. I hope you all had a wonderful summer." A woman over the intercom stated cheerfully. Y/N and Sam ignored it though as Sam told Y/N about the events that took place at Johnny's apartment. "Wait so your dad and Johnny fought each other?" Y/N asked, surprised. "Well me and Robby stopped it but it was close. My dad broke his TV." Sam replied.
"Wow. I knew they didn't like each other but I didn't realize they had that much tension between them." Y/N stated. "It probably didn't help that I'm dating his son and dad found me at his apartment." Sam points out. "You've got a point."
"And finally after we embark upon another academic year, it's important to remember to be tolerant and accepting of all of our peers regardless of... Hey you're not supposed to be in here!" Sam and Y/N stopped their conversation as a new voice sounded through the intercom.
"I don't care, move!"
"Give that back! Ow! You're not allowed to.."
"Samantha LaRusso."
Y/N eyes widened as she instantly recognized Tory's voice. And she didn't sound too happy. "You know what you did and now you're gonna pay for it. I'm coming for you, bitch!" The intercom system shut off as the two girls exchanged worried glances. This wasn't going to end well. Not at all.
