Observing could be considered as something easy to do and by any means it was not tiring or required many efforts yet here DongMin was, flinching every now and then as if he was the one getting punched.

He had witnessed plenty of fight scenes in his life as in the field that he was in, it was common but none seemed as cruel as this one that Jimin was shooting right that instant.  Maybe it hurt him more this time around cause he was being beaten for real, after the director kept constantly cutting the shooting of this scene, again and again, saying that his acting was not convincing enough. Words that everyone that had eyes and was watching could tell were not true but since the morning that he and Jimin got late to arrive at the shoot, he had been more than angered with him.

The director didn't let his chance go from making Jimin pay and that was evident and cruel to all as just like DongMin, others seemed to be flinching and looking away every time Jimin was to be punched or kicked, acting live every scene that was written in that damned script.

He was feeling sorry for his friend but Jimin didn't seem bothered, actually he barely looked his way, as always emerged in his role perfectly. It was fascinating that he managed to deliver the lines perfectly despite having been injured for real but DongMin did not expect anything less from him. He was always a professional, unlike this film director that was known for his temper issues and most actors and actresses in the field hated him with passion. Unfortunately, though he was the best at his job and that was the only reason that this script was on his hands.

He may use many unorthodox methods to bring out of his actors what he needed for the scene but in the end, he always gets the best outcome. An outcome that Jimin was capable of giving to him without the need of all these as he was excellent and he proved it daily yet here he was, withstanding this just for the sake of some hours belatedness that he dared to do.

It was a bit unreal to DongMin that the director was really doing this to Jimin as he had claimed of having much respect and being very happy to work with the actor. Sure, everyone says those typical words in this field but Jimin had claimed to trust in him when he had accepted to play in this series. The heck had gotten into the director today, he couldn't tell but he sure didn't like it at all.

The scene finally came to a halt and the director uttered the words everyone was waiting for, allowing DongMin to rush at Jimin's side, who was seated on the floor, lifting himself up from the laying position that he was a bit ago.

"You okay?" He asked him as he left his hand rest on his shoulder and Jimin looked up at him with a smile before he proceeded to reply full of satisfaction. " I owned this scene. One of the most entertaining ones I have played in my life."

Jimin took hold of DongMin's arm in order to support himself and get up and DongMin just gave him a confused expression as he was not sure if his prior words were sarcastic or he meant them.

Once the two were on their feet, Jimin's phone started going off and DongMin that had it in his possession proceeded to take it out of his pocket and look at Jimin in wonder if he wanted to answer the call himself or he should and after Jimin gave him a hand sign to proceed, he replied on his own, greeting Jin that was on the other line.

"Hello, Sr. Kim...Yes, he is here...Till now everything is okay...I suppose" DongMin stood under Jimin's gaze, talking on the line, speaking as shortly as he could as he didn't want for Jimin to understand what was Jin asking him about since that was the request the man had spoken to him, just as he greeted him.

"Just keep an eye on him, it's nothing to worry about but if something seems off with him call me immediately. He has been stressed lately so take good care of him." Jin instructed him and DongMin hummed as a response right before the phone was taken from his hands by Jimin, who seemed like he wanted to talk now.

"Hey, hyung, are you at work?" He asked and Jin replied casually, with a positive response.

"Great, do a background check-up of someone for me, please. I will text you the name right away." Jimin added then hanged up the call, proceeding to text him your name, which DongMin witnessed making him curious enough to ask.

"Why do you need a background check on Y/N? Did something happened with you early in the morning?" He looked worried towards him, since the moment he had returned to the vehicle being more than eager to know what had gone on between the two up there in your apartment but because they were in a hurry, DongMin had not had the chance to ask Jimin about it.

"Just something? Many things happened. But I guess the most important one that you should be aware of is that she lied, and she is not a trainy but a reporter in the making whom I ended up somehow agreeing to work with right before she practically logged out of the conversation."

"E?"DongMin looked at him with wide eyes and a confused facial expression not getting exactly what he meant by his last words.

"She fell asleep. Literally dropped on her couch as we were speaking. At first, I got scared that she fainted but she had just fallen asleep. She seriously is one of the strangest people I have ever met." Jimin couldn't help but laugh at the recalling of the event as after he had taken a seat on your couch you had started explaining with much passion about three actors from Sun entertainment which you were suspicious of because the elevator guy - as you referred to him- which was also the guy that was making out with SunHee on that video she sent to him, was noticed by her, entering that entertainment company.

At that moment you had seemed as someone really observant and smart in his eyes, because apparently not only you had that strange ability to find secrets but also had the brains to uncover them to the bones if you were to decide to go after them. It would have been a lie if Jimin was to say that he had not found that scooping of yours -intentional or not- a bit attractive. It looked to him as if you were looking for trouble and he couldn't help but enjoy the risky element that you seemed to carry.

Your persuasion was also quite on point as you had managed to make him agree to keep you by his side so you could discover who was the one that wanted to involve him in a scandal and harm his career under the condition that he had to give you the right to expose publicly whoever that person was and even give you an exclusive interview on the issue after you two were to get out of it as winners.

It was a win-win for both sides and that was evident so Jimin had agreed to it right before you had suddenly frozen in your place, soon dropping backward on the couch, causing him to get started at first. The sight of your body fallen like that still brought laughter to his lips.

"Ah, seriously, she never listens. She must have been sleepless for days again." DongMin uttered, as he left his hand travel through his hair a bit annoyed that you still had not got rid of that stupid persistence you had about practicing writing, as he guessed that such must have been the case.

"Why do you speak as if you know her way too well? Is there perhaps something I don't know that you would like to tell me DongMin?" Jimin's words made his eyes grew wide as he faced him, feeling the pressure of the moment as he realized that you probably had not given him out yet he had exposed himself just like that.

How do you tell him now that he lied to him and helped an aspiring reporter get close to him to possibly harm him? Well saying it may not be exactly that difficult but how do you not get fired after was the real issue over DongMin's head. It was the fear that made him stay silent just staring at his eyes, that grew firm and strict upon him.

"If you can't reply, I will ask her. Would you prefer that?" Jimin exclaimed and DongMin couldn't help but lower his head and proceed to apologize first and foremost before going on, telling him everything that had happened with him and why he did such a thing.

"Blackmailed? Y/N blackmailed you?" Jimin looked surprised at the end of his explanation, finding it a bit heavy of a word that he used.

"Well, she doesn't actually do that but I suppose she hates me enough to not care as much a she  could probably be considerate about others." He admitted and Jimin broke into a burst of laughter to DongMin's surprise and delight.

"Sounds like you have some history. Tell me all about it. I would like some good laughter on my break time." Jimin patted his shoulder right before he turned around and walked away, leaving DongMin a bit confused if he really was not bothered by his behavior like he seemed to have just overlooked it.

Had he truly done that though or was he gonna fire him when he least expects? With Jimin, you could never know. One thing was for sure however and that was that he had just lost a level of trust from his side. One mistake one step back... Jimin's words returned in his mind from the past, making him look at how many steps he had walked away from him.

Yep, definitely lost one. And it's all thanks to Y/N...That woman seriously.Tsk.

He thought to himself a bit disappointed in himself and annoyed at you, just before he headed after Jimin to proceed to tell him, whatever else he wanted to hear.
