faye heart's room
faye's alarm blared again, finally waking up the girl and revealing that she woke up 29 minutes late.
"ugh," she groaned
"wake up, bitch!" kara pounded harshly on the girl's door
what the fuck is she doing here at 7 in the morning.
"i'm up!" the girl grunted out
kara made her way into the room, "why are you still laying down?" she asked as she plopped next to her on the bed
"because i over slept."
"okay? get up."
"i don't feel like going to school."
"why? because the boy your best friend is dating just happens to be the boy you hooked up with, and you're now going to the dance with his best friend?" kara said sweetly with the most sarcastic smile plastered on her face
faye rolled her eyes, "yeah. and your going to the dance with me."
it took all of two seconds for kara to call out "bullshit,"
this won't be hard. faye thought to herself, "please?" she asked this time with puppy dog eyes to match her pout
"fine. just shut the hell up and get dressed."
faye scoffed, "bossy ass."
the school
8:30 am
"dude, aren't you exited for tonight?" brandon asked with the same hyper energy he always maintained
"sure." vinnie shrugged
"every time i bring tonight you're a buzz kill." the boy pointed out, "are you gonna tell me what's wrong?"
"nope" vinnie said popping the 'p'
"whatever dude, but whenever you want to tell me the truth on what happened with that girl-"
they didn't notice the girl that was trailing close behind. "what girl?" selene said quickly inviting herself into the conversation
both brandon and vinnie jumped, confused and sharing a look that was filled with the question on how the hell she got there without them noticing.
"nobody important." vinnie answered as he placed a kiss on her lips
"ew." kara watched as her and faye walked towards the group
brandon looked around, amazed "are all girls fucking ninjas?"
the group glanced at him before rolling their eyes deciding to not answer the somewhat question. vinnie held selene with his arm tight around her shoulder and pressing a kiss to her head.
kara made a fake gag with a glance at faye "love makes me sick," she decided, earning a nod and a tight lipped smile from the girl
"if i ever get married, you're not coming." selene made it known to the (who she would call) "evil little witch"
kara rolled her eyes, "whatever, bye losers!" she flipped them off as she walked away, it wasn't clear if she was actually going to class. but nobody questioned it as it was usual for kara to hide her whereabouts.
brandon walked closer to faye, "so about our date tonight," he winked
"it's barely a date." faye said before patting him on the shoulder "we are going out as a 1 and a 2, not an us. and i'll send you my address, kay!" she promised as she walked away, quickly
"the hell does that even mean?" brandon wondered to the remaining couple in front of him
selene and vinnie just shrugged before turning away right in each other's grasp. brandon let out a frustrated groan before chasing after the two.
the school day went pass pretty quickly. faye had her usual schedule of staying with her friends whenever she could. avoiding vinnie and only making conversation with everyone but him. maybe some stolen glances here and there at lunch but for the most part everything was normal. normal.
the only unusual thing was the reoccurring problem of selene being late to lunch. being late wasn't that big of a deal when it's one or two times, but for their group meeting at lunch was a custom and her being late time after time again with short explanations was, weird.
anyway, after school kara found her way back to faye. they had most of their classes together, but lately kara had been running off to do god knows what. it probably involved some girl.

"i don't want to go," faye whined as she watched the fan on her ceiling spinning in its familiar rhythm
"hell no. if you forced me to come and i just got dressed, looking fine as hell might i add. you're bringing your ass to that dance and i'll drag you buy your sweats if i have to." kara ranted
with a look to the side faye could tell she was serious, for the most part. so the girl groaned before grabbing the outfit she already had picked out.
"get out," faye said pointing to the door as kara smiled proudly

when brandon arrived he was dressed in a nice black and white tux with a rose in the pocket. not too over the top, but he still looked good.
"faye! some cute boy is here for you!" christian yelled from the bottom of the stairs, mouth somewhat filled with cereal
"cute?" brandon asked proudly
"don't get too happy, you're underage lover boy." the older boy rolled his eyes taking another bite
"i'll wait for you," he replied with a wink
"one date at a time!" chris shook his head as he walked away
"what are y'all talking about?" faye asked as she came down the stairs
she was fitted in a plain black and red dress that hugged her curves, it had thin straps and she had red makeup to match. she decided her curls were the way to go so they sat on her shoulders and bounced a little as she made her way to where brandon stood.
the boy in question gulped, feeling a tad intimidated by how she'd gone all out "wow, you look good."
"i know," she responded as she gave him a soft kiss on his cheek
kara made her way down the stairs next posing as the two look at her in awe, "clap" she pointed out as if it was obvious
brandon and faye shared a confused look that lasted only a second before they gave her the desired applause.
"kay come on bitches," kara said
"have fun kiddos," chris yelled as they walked out they door
brandon chose that it was his car he wanted to take so faye sat in the front and kara in the back.
by the time the three of them got there they could spot vinnie's car, probably gained a spot early considering selene is on the committee. the trio walked to the front as a familiar face greeted them.
"you guys! look at you, all so cute like the three musketeers!" selene squealed enthusiastically dressed in a strapless pink dress
"blah, blah, blah. can we have some fun?" kara announced as they stared at her, confused with her sudden burst of school spirit
vinnie walked up to the group, he was wearing a slightly unbuttoned dress shirt and a decent pair of pants. faye had to admit that he looked good, what was the point in lying? as her eyes scanned over him once again she realized his eyes met hers while his face wore a smirk. faye rolled her eyes and added herself back to the convo as they were back on the topic of going inside.
"yes, okay let's go." selene said keeping her same level of enthusiasm and grabbing vinnie's hand
the dance took place in the gym (or multi-purpose room) and it stuck with the valentine's theme. the place was filled with many different shades of pink, red, and white. the snacks table was crowded by students, as was the "dance floor"
"doesn't it just look great!" selene exclaimed, proud of the part she played "ugh, ok! now time for some fun!"
selene continued onto the dance floor as the rest followed. as the group stayed close it was pretty fun, but faye couldn't help but let her gaze fall on selene and vinnie every now and then. cute.
"i'm gonna get a drink," faye semi-yelled to brandon and kara over the music to which they only nodded
faye made her way over to the table that held the drinks and food. as she grabbed herself a cup, someone stood a little too close to go un-noticed.
"hey do you min-" the girl began as she was greeted with a smiling vinnie
he rose his eyebrows with a shake of his head "no, i just needed a cup."
"well you can get it yourself." she smiled before beginning to walk away
"how come you never talk to me?" he asked causing a stop in the girl's tracks
"what do you mean? i'm talking to you now." faye replied with just a hint of sarcasm
"this is one the first interactions we've had in months."
"i guess we've never found the time to," the girl replied dryly as she tried to walk away, again
vinnie reach out for her hand and pulled her back a little closer than before, for a split second faye thought it was okay for her to feel the way he made her. he loosened his grip and watched her arm fall back to her side, as she slightly avoided eye contact.
"look, if it's because of what happened this summer i just want you to know that-"
"omg! my favorite people bonding," selene interrupted whatever he had to say as the two just smiled "okay wait, vinnie dance with faye. i have something i need to take care of!" selene said looking to the side frantically
when the girl walked off faye assumed the moment passed and they would just play it off, but when vinnie extended his hand, she noticed that obviously wasn't the case.
time to dance...

i ended up cutting this cause it was too long ... anyway, i'm changing some things to make this more neat (hence the lyrics and chapter names) also ignore the fact that valentine's day was a thursday this year. it's called fanFICTION for a reason!
