Your POV
Mard Geer: "Why do you continue to fight?" He asks as he dodges another punch. Damnit, I know something's wrong now, with my second origin released I shouldn't be running this low on magical energy.
You: "Because, how else am I going to stop you? You are beyond reason; words alone cannot reach you anymore. So, violence is the only option." He gives me that cocky smirk again.
Mard Geer: "So, you're telling me, after everything I've done, you'd still try to reason with me?" I laugh under my breath.
You: "No." He cocks his head, and raises a brow.
Mard Geer: "Really?"
You: "You, you allowed Erza to be hurt, even tortured... For that, none of you will survive." He laughs, still standing over there all proper.
Mard Geer: "I allowed it? No, I think you allowed it. I'm sure you've promised her you'd protect her over and over, only to fail every time in the end, and you may have been able to take down some of my underlings. But I'm a different story, and you are as well. You're running on fumes Dragon God. How much do you have left?" W-was he right...? W-was I the reason... She got hurt? "Aw, now you see it the way I do, always blaming your enemies for hurting your friends. Maybe if you were stronger, they would never have gotten hurt. We're your enemies, we're trying to hurt your friends, it's your job to stop us, is it not? So, if one of them gets hurt, or, even were to die, it'd be all your fault." No... H-he is right... I'm the reason they keep getting hurt, I-I'm still not strong enough to protect them... "You are not physically strong enough, your magic is not strong enough, but most of all, you are not mentally strong enough. You may be considered a God to most, but in the end, your mind is still that of a feeble human's."
Erza POV
Minerva: "I shouldn't have left Sting and Rogue to fight Mard Geer alone... They aren't strong enough."
Lector: "Don't count them out Milady, Sting and Rogue are two tough cookies!"
Frosch: "Tough cookies!"
Erza: "Don't forget."
Happy: "Forget what?"
Erza: "M/n is there as well, they'll be fine." I say, smiling softly at her. "M/n never loses."
Your POV
A-am I... Losing?
M-my body, i-its actions were delayed, and my magic felt weaker and weaker by the second.
Mard Geer: "Now I see it... Now I see why you're so weakened... You ingested Tempester's bane particles after you beat him, didn't you?" N-No Way! How?! How could I have been so careless!? That's what these feelings have been! "Face it, Dragon God, you lost your Dragon Force abilities some time ago, and you have yet to land a hit on me since. You've lost." As he says that, Sting and Rogue land behind me.
Sting: "Demon's gone, now it's just this guy."
Rogue: "You don't look too good M/n."
Sting: "Yea, you look pale, and your eyes are dark."
Rogue: "Your wounds, they're still bleeding?" I look down, and sure enough, none of my recent wounds bleeding had even slowed down, much less stopped.
You: "Guys..." I say, needing to take a deep breath between basically every word. "I... need your... help..."
Mard Geer: "If even you couldn't land a hit on me, what chance do these pathetic fools have?"
You: "You underestimate us Dragon Slayers, Underworld King." The 2 attack, but they couldn't land a single hit 2 on 1, and, unlike with me, he was still able to hold that book with one arm. I manage to stand again, and charge up my Dragon God Slaying magic again. "Mard Geer!" I charge, and punch forward. "Heavenly Dragon God Fist!" I felt it hit, we had final- No way... He was standing there, the book tucked into his shirt, both his palms extended out, one behind the other... H-he had completely blocked my attack. And what's worse, is that my magic was gone, every time I used it, it just drained that much faster. And on top of all that, I felt Erza's power... And 2 Demons with her. "Sting... Rogue..." I say between breaths. "Can you guys handle this? Just hold him off if needed." The both look to me and smirk.
Sting: "Yea, we got this, no problem!"
Rogue: "We will handle business here, you go help your friends." I nod, and thank them, then summon my wings and take off. But maybe 30 seconds later, I realized this wasn't gonna work. It drained too much magical energy. So I flew high, above the clouds, then would basically skydive in the direction of Erza, then summon them again, and begin flying back up. Although each time I did it, the altitude would get lower, and the angle I took to get up would have to be steeper, I didn't have the power to hold the spell long enough to go up at an angle. Although, as I'm maybe half way there...
You: "No... It couldn't be..." That roar, there's no mistaking it though... That's the roar, of Acnologia... No, don't freeze up M/n, whatever you do, don't freeze. "Dragon... We're gonna have to dig deep for this one." I say, landing on the ground, trying to catch my breath. "I would try to enter the Primal state, but with these Bane particles in me I wouldn't last even 30 seconds. We have to find a way to cure myself or get these things out of me." 'Hmm... There is one way... But it won't be easy...' I smirk, and wipe the blood from my chin. "When's the last time I've done easy?" 'The only way, is for you to burn them out of you.' Oh, that sounds painful. 'No, you idiot, as in you have to burn them off. Your magic, Dragon God Slaying magic, it is polar opposite of these Bane particles. So, it would make sense, that whenever you try to use magic, the Bane particles burn themselves off to nullify your magic, so all you have to do, is continuously use your magic until they've all burned off.' "Great, just one problem. I can't use my magic, I'm drained." 'As you said, dig deep.' I sigh, and stand back up. "Ok then. Let's get these things out of me!" I charge up my Dragon God Slaying magic, and hold the form, although, the white flame was already flickering. 'HOLD IT!!' "Damnit! What do you think I'm trying to do?!" I continue holding the form, for maybe a minute, but it felt like hours. "DAMNIT DRAGON HOW MUCH LONGER?!?!" 'HOLD!! IT!!' Good God! I cough blood, but continue to hold this form. "DRAGON?!" 'You're almost there! Just a little while longer! Don't give in now M/N!" Oh good god, everything was burning, it felt like my body was burning up from the inside out. Yet, then I begin to feel it, it was easier to hold the form all of a sudden, then, it got easier, and easier, and easier... Until... "They're gone." I say, holding my hands in front of me. 'Yes, but now, you must make the choice.' What? 'Erza, or Acnologia, even you cannot do both at once.' Shit, he's right... But, I cannot leave Acnologia running amuck. I'll just have to believe in Erza for the time being, as long as she's still fighting they're all still alive. I summon my wings, and take off towards Acnologia.
Cana POV
No... We barely survived last time... I watch, as the beast aims its next roar at us.
Max: "We gotta move!"
Kinana: "Grab the wounded!"
Laki: "Everybody find shelter!" They don't get it, it's over, there's no running from this thing... Then, it roars, releasing a blast of energy at us.
Cana: "Dad... I'm-" I'm cut off by a thud in front of me, and his voice.
You: "ETHERION!! ROAR!!" I look up, and see a blast of white energy collide with the blue, creating an enormous explosion and shockwave sending me skidding backwards along the ground. "Is everybody all right?!" He yells, looking around.
Max: "Yea! We're good!"
You: "Good! Then get the hell out of here!"
Laki: "You heard the man! Move it people!" He turns back to the giant dragon in the sky, preparing to charge it.
Cana: "Give'em hell M/N!" I hear him chuckle, then, he blasts off.
You: "ACNOLOGIA!!!!"
Erza POV
I look up, as the fist of a mighty dragon, and a small white speck collide head on. It was incredible. M/n was actually fighting against this beast. Then, I see a giant maroon colored dragon, whose power... I-it was, Natsu's dragon... Igneel...
Your POV
I land on Igneel's head to catch my breath.
Igneel: "Your power... You're his son, aren't you?"
You: "Yes, my name is F/n L/n, and I am son of the Dragon God Etherion. We met very long ago. But that does not matter right now."
Igneel: "I see... I must say I am surprised you are still living, M/n."
You: "You and I both. Listen, we know neither of us even holds a candle to his power."
Igneel: "That may be true, but what are we going to do then, run and hide?" I laugh and stand again.
You: "Hell no. We're going to find a way to kick his ass. Ignore me as you fight, you don't have to worry about catching me, I'll be fine, but I'm recovering much of my magic energy right now, so I'll probably have to rest on you from time to time."
Igneel: "I understand. But, I do have one question... Could you beat him at full power?" I sigh, and stretch my legs.
You: "Honestly, I don't know, but I think I'd give him a run for his money." He nods, then the battle begins, as Natsu began fighting Mard Geer, Igneel and I took on the Black Dragon Acnologia. Until...
Warren: 'M/N?! M/N?! Can you hear me?!' Huh, what the hell?
You: 'Warren?'
Warren: 'Oh thank god! Listen M/N! I know you're fighting that dragon, but I haven't been able to reach Erza and the exceeds for some time now! I sensed the minds of 2 Demons with them, and I think they might be in serious trouble!' No, I hear her, now that I'm focusing in... DAMNIT!
You: "IGNEEL! You take care of this guy for a little bit! I'll be back!" I turn and jump off, then summon my wings and take off. "I've gotta go save my friends."
Igneel: "Good luck, son of Etherion. I will handle business here."
Kyoka POV
Kyoka: "Hm, it seems my outburst has even affected your friends, Erza." I smirk, and blow slightly towards her. And her screams of agony, they were so wonderful!
Happy POV
Happy: "It feels like I'm being stabbed all over!"
Lily: "Even the slightest of movements, and my body turns to fire!" Huh? What was that? Whatever it was, when Kyoka stomped on Erza, and her screams filled the sky, I lost the sound of whatever it was before.
Minerva: "You have to endure it! Don't let her win!"
Kyoka: "It's time for you to lose this armor!" She begins cutting away Erza's armor, until there's basically nothing left. "My last act in this world, will be torturing you, and I think I'll start with, your sight... Then taste, touch, smell, and finally, sound..."
You: "ERZA!!!!" Huh?! I strain myself to turn back, and see...
Happy: "M/N!!"
Lily: "He Came!"
Lector: "YES!!"
Frosch: "M/n's here!"
Minerva: "H-he's still alive after all he's been through?" He comes flying in, and sends Kyoka flying. His eyes, they were glowing white, but, they looked insane somehow.
You: "I am going to butcher you... I am going to beat you until there's nothing left... I am going to erase you from this universe... Nobody will even remember your name..." He kneels down over Erza, and, I feel the pain lighten.
Happy: "My pains..."
Lector: "Mine too."
Frosch: "I don't hurt anymore!"
Lily: "Did he defeat her...?"
Minerva: "No..." We all look over to her. "Look at him..." I look over, and see M/n's face, contorted with agony, as he coughs blood.
Happy: "W-why does he look like that...?"
Frosch: "He looks like he's hurting..." He says sadly.
Lector: "Did he...?"
Minerva: "He somehow, was able to take on Kyoka's curse magic. He took all of our pain."
Erza POV
I... I can... see...? I, I can... feel someone, holding me... B-but the pain, i-it was, normal again... Then, I feel the warmth, and I feel something get wrapped around me.
You: "M-Min...Miner-Minerva..." I focus in, and see... M/n, talking through clenched teeth. "T-t, take... E-Erza... A-and, R-run..." H-his face, why did he.
Kyoka: "You little pest!" W-what?! I look over, and see her swing down with those extended claws. I feel M/n hold me tighter, and he raises his arm, stopping the blades from hitting me. Although, I could feel his pain. T-there were tears streaming down his face, from the 5, deep lacerations in his arm going down to the bone. "H-how, how are you not going insane from that? I-I just sliced you through your arm in 5 different places... How? HOW?!"
You: "Y-you... H-hurt Erza..." He says, his teeth still clenched together, then, I feel someone else grab me. I look over and see Minerva, and she helps me away from him.
Erza: "No... I-I have to go help, he's in pain."
Minerva: "I know, he took on all of our pain..." W-WHAT?!
Erza: "A-all of it? As in, mine, yours, Lily's, Lector's, Frosch's, Happy's...?" She nods, and I feel the air leave my body, I turn back, and see M/n, struggling to even stand.
You: "I-I won't... I WON'T LOSE!!!" W-whoa... H-he still has that amount of power? "I told you, you aren't going to live to see that clock strike zero."
Kyoka: "It doesn't make sense. You took on all their pain, yet, not only are you somehow still alive, you're conscious, and are standing... And, you can fight...?"
You: "Y-you hurt her... I-I'll m-murder you for that..." Kyoka growls, and begins attacking him.
Your POV
OH GOD!! AAAAHHHHHHHHHGGGGGG!!!! 'YOU IDIOT! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!?! YOU WON'T EVEN BE ABLE TO MOVE NOW!!' SHUT UP DRAGON!! I COULDN'T LEAVE HER IN THAT STATE!!
Erza POV
I hear a strange voice as I watch him scream, just to dodge maybe half of her attacks.
???: 'How do you plan on winning now?!' Then, I hear a familiar voice respond.
You: 'YOU JUST WATCH ME!!' As he finishes, M/n powers up even more. "I TOLD YOU KYOKA!! I AM GOING TO ANNIHILATE YOU!!"
Kyoka: "W-what kind of monster are you...?" M/n had a completely new look to him, his hair was white, fading to gold at the edges, floating in the air. His teeth had pointed, and his eyes were now glowing white, with golden pupils, along with golden circles outlining his eyes. His normal fiery white flame was now a glow that hugged his body, along with large crackles of golden lightning. But the real change, were the white scales, which would reflect golden in certain light. "T-this form...?"
Lector: "I'd know that form anywhere!"
Frosch: "He did it!"
Lily: "Incredible, that amount of power..."
Happy: "We're saved!"
Minerva: "H-he's..."
Lector: "That's his Dragon Force!"
Erza: "Amazing..." I watch, again in awe of his power, as he clenches his fist, and turns to Kyoka.
You: "Kyoka... it's time for you to end." He says coldly, tears still streaming down his face due to the immeasurable amount of pain he must be in. He disappears, then Kyoka goes flying by us. M/n, slowly, walking after her. He was having to shift his weight heavily with each step. "You hurt my Erza, I'll eradicate you from this existence." I couldn't help but feel slightly embarrassed he said 'my' Erza, even in this moment.
Kyoka: "I don't believe it... I can't believe it... Y-you should be feeling 1000 times normal pain right now, and with your injuries..." She trails off, and examines his injuries. I begin looking too, and they were far worse than even mine. A large trail of blood was trailing down his face from his right temple. The scar next to his left eye had reopened, and was trailing down his cheek. His left eye was also bleeding, with a blotch of red in the white of it. The bridge of his nose had been cut open, and he was bleeding from his left nostril as well. Both sides of his mouth had large trails of blood, and his teeth were stained with it. He had a horrible laceration on his right cheek as well, and that was just his face... His right arm was heavily bruised, and both of his fists were dark purple, almost black, and you could see his shiny metal bones showing in some places. His left arm had the 5 deep cuts down to his bone from Kyoka's attack. His legs weren't horrible, but I noticed a piece of glass, and what looked like a shard from a sword edge protruding from his left leg, and his right leg had some horrible burns on it. "With my curse, and those injuries, you should have passed out, and died from the pain, so how, how are you, doing this?"
You: "You hurt my Erza..." He says, his voice filled with hatred and Venom. "You will be executed for that." He walks up to her, and brings his arm back, I see a white ball of energy form in it, then he makes a fist, crushing the ball, and when his fist collides with Kyoka, there's a giant burst of white light.
Minerva: "H-he's gone insane... H-he's fighting through 1000 times the amount of pain, with those injuries? Even I don't understand it."
Lector: "Because he's a Dragon Slayer!"
Frosch: "Because he's tall!"
Lily: "Because he's a warrior."
Happy: "No, I know why." Everybody turns to him, and I know exactly what he's going to say.
Erza/Happy: "It's because he's F/n L/n. The Dragon God. And he never loses!"
