Your POV
It's early in the morning and the first thing I wake up to is my boyfriend/best friend, Sehun, showering me with kisses.
He shouts, "Happy Anniversary, (Y/N)!!!", with a massive grin on his face.
I smile and kiss him on the forehead. He pouts, indicating he wants a kiss on the lips.
I giggle and softly press my lips to his. He responds to the kiss and wraps his arms around me.
When he pulls away, he picks me up bridal style and carries me to the kitchen, where he has cooked breakfast.
"Aww, Sehun, you're the best!!", I exclaim to my boyfriend, throwing my arms around him once he sets me down.
"Anything for you, jagi.", he says, with a smile.
After breakfast, Sehun tells me to get dressed. I wear my favorite dress and shoes. Then I do my hair and makeup.
I run downstairs to Sehun. He smiles and kisses me on the head.
"Let's go.", he says leading me out of the door.
~Time Skip~
The first place Sehun brings me is to the first place we had a date which was, surprise surprise, a bubble tea shop.
We order, then after waiting, sit down with our drinks. Sehun and I spend some time talking and laughing.
A while later, he tells me he's bringing me to a "surprise location", as he called it.
We get in his car and he blindfolds me before we go, making the suspense grow.
~Time Skip~
When we arrive, he quickly pulls me out of the car and carries me bridal style.
I notice that Sehun has been walking for quite some time.
"Oppa, are we there yet?", I question.
"Almost jagiya.", he answers.
He stops after a few minutes and sets me down on my feet.
"Okay we're here.", Sehun announces.
I feel him removing the blindfold and in front off me is a playground.
What's so special about it?
That's where we met when we were little.
~Flashback (When you were 6)~
I was playing quietly, all by myself on the playground in the park.
I sat on the swings when suddenly, the silence was broken when a boy my age crashed into me.
"Owwww.", I groan due to the scrape on my elbow.
"Mianhe! I didn't mean to push you off your swing! I just saw that you were lonely and I wanted to talk to you, but I tripped and knocked you over.", the boy explained in a panic.
Looking at him closely, the boy was very cute. He had perfectly shaped eyes, shaggy dark hair that waved slightly in the wind, and soft-looking pink lips.
"I-it's okay.", I mumble, "You didn't try to do that."
The boy goes from being worried to happy.
"My name is Sehun.", he says introducing himself.
"I'm (Y/N).", I reply.
"Want to be my best friend?", Sehun asks.
"Umm...okay.", I agree hesitantly.
His face lights up and he yells, "Yehet!"
I notice that he also has a cute smile. I feel myself blushing.
Am I in love?, I think to myself.
Before I can say anything, Sehun drags me by the arm to go play.
~End flashback~
That was a loooonnngg time ago.
It feels so nostalgic to be here.
"You remember this place, right (Y/N)?", Sehun asks standing in front of me, grabbing my hands.
"Of course. This is where I met you when we were kids.", I answer.
He smiles and kisses my forehead before getting down on one knee and holding only my left hand and a ring in his other hand.
"(Y/N), I have loved you since we met on this very playground when we were 6. I remember I almost immediately asked you to be my best friend, and crazily enough, you accepted. It took me 12 years to ask you to be mine when were 18, and again, you said yes. And now, I hope you say yes to this question. Will you marry me?", Sehun asks, hope written on his face.
I tear up at his speech and say, "Yes."
He slips the ring on my left ring finger and gets up to meet me with a passionate kiss.
Once we're out of the kiss he pulls me into his arms.
"Saranghae, (Y/N).", he whispers.
I smile and say, "Nado saranghae, Sehun."
With that, we spend the day there together, where we met and fell in love.
