Arjun's P.O.V.
We reached Hastinapur, Duryodhan was the first one to be called by Ashwathama then Nakul
"Nakul, Sahadev, Arjun if you all go before me don't tire Duryodhan out. I don't want him to say that he lost to me because he is too tired" said bhrata Bheem, beside Jyesht we all laughed
"Be quiet!" said Jyesht
"Go Nakul, good luck," I said. After all my bhaiyo were defeated. I was called into the arena. I saw that rocks were going to fall on me, I quickly made a shield with my arrows. Through the gaps between the rocks I saw that mata had a tear rolling down her cheek, I shot an arrow, it caught her tear,
it came back to me and I caught it
and made a tilak
After I surrounded Duryodhan with ice, Gurudev told me...
"Putra (son), you can release him now." I released Duryodhan, there was a huge firework explosion a man jumped down from a tower and landed in front of me,
"Who are you?" asked Gurudev
"I am Bhagavan Parshuram's shishy, Karn!" said the man, the voice of that man echoed through the arena
"I am here to challenge rajkumar (prince) Arjun," said mahrthi (Worrier) Karn
"What is your identity?" asked Gurudev, mahrthi Karn lowered his head
"I am mhamhim Bhishma's charioteer, Adhirath Sushain's putra," said mahrthi Karn I started thinking
"Sut putra (charioteer's son)! Arjun, you don't need to duel with him!" said bhrata Bheem Should I accept his challenge? I thought
"Arjun!" called Duryodhan, I looked at him
"What are you thinking?! He is a sut putra! Are you scared of accepting his challenge?! Or, are you scared of losing to a sut putra!" Duryodhan mocks and laughed the citizens laughed as well
"GO AWAY SUT PUTRA! GO AWAY! GO AWAY!" the citizens in the arena yelled multiple times
"STOP!" I yelled, everyone was quite
"I don't judge anyone by their cast, Duryodhan," I said savagely, I looked around the arena
"And judging someone by their cast isn't a tradition of Hastinapur," I said, the citizens lowered their heads, I saw Mata, Kakshree, Jyesht, and Pitamaha smiling proudly. I looked at Duryodhan
"you above all people should be knowing that," I said savagely again Duryodhan grunted angrily
"I accept your challenge, mahrthi Karn." I said smiling at mahrthi Karn
"But Bhrata Arjun, he's a su-"
"Be quiet, Nakul!" snapped Jyesht interrupting Nakul, Nakul lowered his head.
Time skip
The sun was setting, Pitamaha blew his conch and the pratiyogita ended mahrthi Karn walked to me.
"It was a pleasure duelling with you rajkumar Arjun," he said joining his hands
"No, not rajkumar Arjun." I said separating his hands
"Mitr, mitr Arjun" I said
"Mitr?!" he asked in shock
"Avashya, like I said before, I don't judge anyone by their cast," I said, and I hugged Karn he was shocked by my action but hugged me back, we pulled away.
"I would like you to come and train with me tomorrow mitr." I said
"Avashya (sure), rajkumar Arjun," he said, I glare at him
"Sorry, mitr Arjun." he corrected I smiled
"Come, I will introduce you to my bhaiyo." I said we both walked to Jyesht, bhrata Bheem, Nakul and Sahadev
"Pranipat, rajkumar Yudhisthir," said Karn joining his hands
"Pranipat, mahrthi Karn," said Jyesht joining his hands and turned his head towards me
"Priya anuj Arjun, mujhe tum pe bhot gerv hai. (Dear younger brother Arjun, I am very proud of you.)" said Jyesht
"Thank you, Jyesht," I said
"Aagya dijiye, Mitr. (Allow me to take my leave, friend.)" said Karn
"Very well, you will be there for training tomorrow, right?" I asked he nodded
"Is there any good dharmashala I can stay in, rajkumar?" Karn asked looking at Jyesht
"Dharmashala? Won't you stay with your parents, mitr?" I asked
"No. I wouldn't want to stay in the house I ran away from" said Karn, I didn't want to ask him why
"I will ask Pitamaha if you can stay in one of the guest-chambers for the night." I said
"Thank you, mitr." said Karn
"We should go meet Mata" said Jyesht
