Closed my eyes to evade the light, hidden away in the dark.
Wherever I go, the shadows shall lurk;
Lies shrouding my vision, deceit clouding my precision,
I gave myself away at the Devil's decision.
I tried hard to please the crowd,
My goal was to make my parents proud;
Yet they mock me as I walk the stairs,
I fall headfirst in a game of musical chairs.
My life was a cage, my mind mostly dazed,
The pills I took, left me crazed;
Treated like a fragile vase, a ticking bomb as they name,
The institutions could not clear off my insanity's fame.
Nights I was left alone, days I spent in agony,
I was framed as the Queen of Baloney,
Spinning around in aimless circles,
I died to put an end to my ceaseless hurdles.
