A/N: Dating George and learning his need for touch and separation issues
Y/n POV:
I never learned what loving someone was like, my parents were never home and I got raised by house-elfs. I never knew how to express my love.
George on the other hand, grew up with love. He had a family who loved him unconditionally.
His love language was touch, mine was anger. It was two different ends, George always had to touch me, it was how he expressed his feelings. I have major anger issues and mad over the little things, but that's how I express feelings.
It was hard to get used to, the hand holding, hugs from behind, heads on my lap, but I grew to love it.
Another thing George had was separation issues. At first I just thought he was sad we couldn't see each other over the summer, but it was more than that. He always had to sit next to me wherever we are, sleeping next to me, he had changed his class schedule so it was the same as mine.
It was sweet, knowing I was needed, it made me happy. Knowing he would cling to me, that made me feel loved. He was always over affectionate, constantly displacing his feelings.
He told me loved me. After he said I didn't need to say it back. He knew I was still getting used to affection, but there was part of his heart that slightly cracked when I didn't say back that day. He wouldn't say it out that it hurt him every time he would say I love you and I didn't say it back.

"Are you almost done?" George asked as he laid his head on my lap as I did my homework on the couch.
"I still have to finish this essay and start the one for potions." I answered still looking at my parchment.
"But you said we could cuddle." He started poking my inner thigh.
"I know babe, when I'm finished." I looked down at him. "I need to go ask Alicia something, can you get up feel quick."
"Wait! Don't go." He pleaded.
"It will only be a couple seconds and I always come back." I patted his hair. "I won't be long."
Once I was able to get George off my lap, he laid on the couch sad while I went over to Alicia.
"Hey, did you understand this in class?" I asked her. After 15 minutes, she was able to help me understand the concept and I could finish the essay.
"Alright I'm back." I smiled as I walked back over to the couch."
"I missed you." George pulled me down wrapping his arms around.
"Georgie, I wasn't gone long, it was only 15 minutes." I played with the front of hair.
"And he complained the whole 15 minutes." Fred complained from the arm chair he was sitting on.
"Come on, let's go to your dorm." I picked up my stuff grabbing George's hand bringing us to his dorm. Once we entered, he still didn't let go of my hand as I set my stuff down, and went into his trunk to get one of his shirts and sweats. I continued walking into the bathroom, grabbing the stuff I leave in here, getting ready for a shower.
"Georgie, you need to let go, I need to shower." I looked at him.
"Can I shower with you?" He asked.
I looked at him narrowing my eyes. "Fine, but no funny business this time."
I turned on the shower letting the water get hot as the both of started taking our clothes off. George in first offering out his hand which I accepted. He pulled me in front of him, wrapping his arms around my waist, letting the water hit us. I went to go grab my shampoo, but he beat me to it.
"I want to wash your hair." He smiled.
"Only if I get to do yours." I smirked.
He opened the bottle getting out a generous amount and started running his fingers through my hair. "I like doing this." He said. "It makes me feel like I'm needed."
I smiled as he went on with the conditioner. Once he finished and my hair was washed, I did the same thing to him. After the two of us were clean, we stepped out and dried off. As sat on the counter doing my night routine, George came behind me, only wearing his sweats resting his head on my shoulder.
"Can we cuddle." He whined in my ear.
"Almost, I just need to moisturize." I answered.
Ignoring my answering, he picked me up from the counter, throwing me over his shoulder and going to his bed. He dropped me and climbed onto bed. I was usually the big spoon, while George cuddled into me. I set myself resting against the headboard, as George laid on my side, resting his head on my chest, tangling our legs together.
"I missed this." He said as I played with his hair.
"Georgie we do this everyday." I laughed.
"I know." He smiled. "I love you."
Like usual, I just leaned down and kissed him not saying them back.
We continued laying like this, having small talk while I play with his hair. It became late and I could hear George's soft snores. I looked down at him, his hair all ruffled, his nose wrinkled a bit, he looked peaceful.
"I love you." I whispered kissing the top of his head. Immediately he started to murmur before fluttering his eyes open.
"Go back to bed." I continued playing with his hair.
"I love you too." He said sleepily.
"You heard that." I tensed.
"Of course silly. I'm happy you said it." George smiled.
"I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you." He peppered kisses all over my face.
"Now let's get some sleep and we can do something tomorrow." I kissed him before laying my head down.
