There are some people
Who do not deserve to be called
My friend or acquaintances
Hell I can't even call them enemies
They are just somewhere in between
And I utterly despise them.
They are only around when they want something from me
And I allow them in
each and every time
And I fucking don't know why.
The way they treat me
Makes me feel as if I am a gift wrapper
Which is ripped off
In a matter of few moments
And is instantly forgotten.
No,
Not all my friends are like this.
But when even one of them turn out as 'not genuine'
I get shattered. To the core.
To the point that I lose faith in myself.
I wish I had had some superpowers
Which would've helped me know
The intentions people do have, towards me,
cause-
Hurt me once, shame on you
Hurt me twice, shame on me.
