"Common sense, besides I know you"
Audrie's perspective
Hermione and I spend hours in the library reading and looking around to see if we could find something about Sirius Black. Well, we also studied a little, but found nothing useful, the only thing about Sirius was that he knew the Potter family.
Soon after, it was late so we both said our goodbyes and went to each one's common room, I saw Luna there, with a cat, I seriously don't know how she has so many pets, but anyways, I sat next to her and asked
"Hey Luna, you look down, are you ok?"
"Yeah I'm fine"
She said it with a really low voice, I knew something was wrong. But I didn't want to push her into telling me.
"It's ok if you don't want to talk about it, but can you tell me what's wrong?"
"It's just that I'm really worried, you know about the Sirius Black problem, and everybody seems so calm about it. But I'm not, it makes me wonder if he will actually kill Harry, and I don't want that to happen"
"Luna... no one wants that to happen, Harry will be alright, and if that Sirius Black comes to kill him we will be there. Don't worry"
"Ok, if you say so. Now today I heard something really weird from a Slytherin"
"What?"
"It was in potion class, Pansy Parkinson and Draco were talking and I heard that she is going to do something to you for talking back to Draco"
"And that's supposed to worry me?"
"A little bit, she is as mean as Draco"
"Well if she has a problem, then I'll defend myself the way I did with Draco. And I think it went really well with him"
We both started laughing a lot, then she added
"Well I know you are confident, but just keep an eye out for anything"
"Fine I promise I will be on the lookout"
"Excellent, know I heard from Hermione what happened with your friend, so are you two good?"
"I think we are"
"I think?"
"Yeah, it's just that she is always with someone new and I'm always depending on her to hang out with someone so..."
"I understand, but you have me and now Hermione, Ron, and Harry too. You don't need to be alone, so I suggest to go and be best friends again with Charlotte and we can all hang out together"
"Yeah, your right. As always. Oh! And Charlotte wanted to see if she could hang out with us tomorrow, cause today I forgot to ask earlier"
"Sure, she seems nice, tell her tomorrow after class in the courtyard"
"Ok, Luna I'm going to be. Good night"
"Good night"
Hermione's perspective
After I got to the common room from the library I shouted to Ron and Harry
"Nothing! Absolutely nothing!"
"Nothing about what?"
Asked Ron. I showed him an irritated look than said
"About Sirius Black"
"It's ok Mione, we just need more time for research, that all"
Harry said, in a comforting way
"Yeah your right, Audrie is really nice and seems to care about school and stuff "
"What makes you say that?"
Harry asked very intrigued
"Well, first of all, she cares more about school and studying than you two and second she stood up to Draco and I would love to see that again
And I started laughing so bad just thinking about it, then Ron said
"Yeah, that would be awesome to see, and if I do my life will be officially complete"
Harry nodded in agreement, then he added
"Well with Draco always looking for a problem it will happen more than one more time"
I started thinking about how many time that might be, then I said
"Yeah, your right Harry. I'm tired from all that searching, good night. I'm going to bed"
"Good night Mione"
They both said that I went up to my dorm and fell asleep
Charlotte's perspective
I knew Audrie forgave me for what happened yesterday, but I saw her a little bothered, I don't know if it's for me or something else. I was also very surprised when I saw her with someone else, but no surprise that she can't make friends without me, but I don't know I'm happy as well.
After breakfast I saw her walking to class with Hermione, it looked like they were talking about something important so I didn't interrupt their conversation, then after class, I could finally catch her alone, then I said
"Hey, Audrie!"
"Hi!"
"Long time, no see!"
I said in a funny voice, she laughed and then said
"Yeah, sorry about that..... I've just been busy"
"With what?"
"Um... school stuff"
"Ok.."
"Oh, before I forget, I didn't send you an owl yesterday about Luna's response because I forgot to ask her earlier, but she said yes"
"That's awesome, when are you two hanging out? To join"
"Today after class, in the courtyard. but first I need to talk to you about something else"
She sounded a little bit serious so I needed to ask
"Why? What happened?"
"So... Luna overheard a girl named Pansy Parkinson a friend of Malfoy's saying that she was going to do something to me for talking back to Malfoy"
"Oh, bloody hell!... I heard she is one of Draco Malfoy's best friends"
"Really?! What in awful taste in friends"
We both laughed, then she said
"Luna says I need to be a little worried, and keep my eyes peeled for anything"
"You better.... but, do you know what she looks like?"
"Actually... I have no idea"
We both laughed again, then I said
"Well good thing you have me, and your new friends that I think will know how she looks like"
"Yeah. Hey! I need to introduce you to them! Come on!"
"Ok"
Audrie's perspective
I knew where Hermione, Ron, and Harry were so I just grabbed Charlotte's hand and ran there, when we got there we took a moment to breathe again, then I said
"Hey, guys!"
"Hi, Audrie!"
Said Hermione
"Hey"
Ron and Harry said at the same time, they were talking about something when then I said
"Guys this is Charlotte, my best friend. Charlotte this are Hermione, Ron, and Harry"
"Hello, nice to meet you. Well again"
Said Hermione because I already introduced them yesterday at the library
"Hi, I'm Ron"
"I'm Harry"
"Hi, nice to meet you all"
I saw how she smiled as they talked to her, so I said
"Charlotte can I speak to you for a sec?"
"Um, yeah. Sure"
Charlotte's perspective
She took me a little farther from where we were than she said
"Hey, if they seem a little weird, is because they are going through something"
"How could you now I was thinking that?!"
"Common sense, besides I know you"
"You know me very well"
"I know, it's one of my many superpowers"
We both laughed then she said
"But don't ask them about it, wait until they tell you"
"Um... Ok"
"But you can hear the conversation"
"Ok now let's get back with them"
We both headed back, then we all started talking about school and stuff, then Some random girl showed up and called up Audrie.
Audrie's perspective
I heard my name so I turned around, the I saw some Slytherin girls saying
"Hey, Moon!"
I asked Hermione, Ron, and Harry
"Who's she?"
"Oh, that Pansy Parkinson, some annoying friend of Draco"
Hermione said to me
"Oh, this is the girl Luna warned me about"
"Warned?! What do you mean by that?"
Ron asked and Hermione nodded because she wanted to know
"Well, Luna told me she overheard Pansy tell Draco she is going to do something to me for talking back to Malfoy, but I'm not afraid. I don't have to be... Right?"
"Right"
Ron and Harry said but in not such a confident voice. So I turned around again when I heard my name once more
"You must be the not so famous Pansy Parkinson, I've heard your friend is a little afraid
to step up to me, so he sends you, to see if you had better luck"
"Well, I sure will now by knowing the person I'm up against"
"I think that's the same thing he thought, and right now he must be crying in his dorm"
"Do you know who you are talking to?"
"I didn't before, but now I just don't care"
"I'm not like Draco, I won't stay quiet while you talk nonsense"
"I wish you would, so we could get this over with and you can tell Draco that he should find better help to defend him"
"Oscausi!"
"Protego! Let's do something ok? Go tell Draco that if he's going to send people to defend him, to find better help for that, cause all you got is nothing"
"This isn't over Moon"
"Oh, yeah it is"
Then Charlotte pulled me out of the fight and said
"If you are going to duel don't do it here"
Then Hermione as a rule follower said
"Yeah, it's against the rules to duel with put permission"
"I know and I wasn't going to duel. But I wasn't going to let her put a spell on me"
When I turned around to say something to Pansy, she had left. So I started laughing again and got back to talking about school and stuff with them.
