Jose POV:
Where am I? This place is like a white rabbit box...
"HELLO?!" I shout.
but all I got back was my own echo. What happened? I remember.... seeing Alex and Luke getting stabbed by the Demon....I got angry...then a gust of wind came then I blacked out.
Did I die!?
Again?
Is this the death box? or is it a 'wait to be reincarnated' box?
but I didn't go though it the last 2 lives? Or I just don't remeber?
I looked to my left and see an image being imprinted onto the wall.
that's....Mum and dad....My mum and dad as Sarah....
I look to my right as I hear a creak sound. The right has a projected image too.
My parents of my current life as Josephine...
What the heck is going on.
Right ahead of me another image is being projected
Oh my god....
is this a sick joke?
The image was me standing infront of Edgar, Selina, Luke, Lance, and Alex looking at me with swords pointed towards me....I have a tattoo on my arm too....
That means it's saying it's in this life...
What the fuck is this!?
"You will know pain."
Huh? What was that voice? A female voice
"WHAT?!" I scream
"You will know pain Josephine."
"You will too when you taste my fist. Now get your ass out of wherever you're hiding!"
Suddenly my vision blurred...what is going on...
"-phine"
"-sephine"
"Josephine!"
My eyes burst open.
"Argh.." groan
Insee 2 figures above me but my vision is blurreed.
It takes me awhile to adjust my vision, and when everything is cleared up, I see Alex and Jaime
"Milady! You're awake!" Jaime cried
"Josephine!" Alex screamed
"Ow....too loud." I croaked. My voice is so dry
"Jaime, get mother and father!" Alex ordered quickly
"Yes young master."
Jaime ran out of the room as Alex took my hand.
"Hey Josephine.. are you ok?"
"er....I think?"
"Good...you're awake which is a good thing."
"mh...i had a weird dream.."
"What was it about?"
"I.....don't remember"
That is so weird. I don't remember my dream.
"Don't worry about that then" He squeezed my hand again.
Soon mother, father rushed in...
"Jose dear." mother squealed
"are you ok honey?" Father says
"Mother, father...I'm fine."
The doctor then came in and checked out my condition.
"She's alright, with a months rest she'll be fine. But no magic and no getting out of this bed."
HUH? You wanna bore me to death?
"Thank you doc." My father and Alex then leads the doctor out of the room leaving My mother and I alone.
"Sweetie...do you know what happened?"
"No"
"Alex informed us...it seems...you transformed."
Mother then informed me in everything that happened before. I'm surprised my appearance changed that much, and my power increased....BUT WHY DID LUKE KISS ME TO DISTRACT ME?! Does that mean...he knows I like him? No...a kiss can distract anyone...yea...
"Right..." I reply, still trying to process everything
"Sweetie...it seems that you're power increases more than I thought."
"Can I control it?" I ask. I want to control it
"You can but it's hard."
"How do I do it?"
"I'll train you." my mother says with a serious face. I Nod...I've never seen her so serious.
Father and Alex came back not so long after and with Edgar and Luke with them.
"Jose!" Edgar and Luke both scream as they run up to me
"hey guys...ER...I'm a patient so...keep it down." I squinted with a small smile.
"Sorry." Luke apologised
"I should've gone with you guys." Edgar says in anger
"relax already, everyone's fine." I patted him on the shoulder
Alex, Mother, Father and Lance went out because there were too many people in the room. that left Luke, Edgar and I alone.
"So, you ok?" Luke asked
"Well, I've been out for 3 weeks, I had my fox transformation, I'm not allowed to train or use magic and above all I'm not allowed to leave this bed for a month. you can judge if I'm ok or not."
"Well you're Moodie" He smirks
I rolled my eyes at him and directed my attention to Edgar.
"Jose, you sure you're ok?"
"I'm fine Edgar, really." I assured him
"Alright if you nee-"
"Your highness!" A guy with orange hair appeared at my door and cut Edgar off just as he was about to finish his sentence.
Edgar closed his eyes slowly then opened them with annoyance. He turned around.
"Ginger, what do you want."
"Your highness, you have royal business back at the castle."
"Can't you see I'm visiting my fiancee?"
By the word fiancee both Luke and I flinched.
I'm not sure about him but I'm flinching cause of the kiss that I'm pretty sure Edgar knows nothing about.
"But your highness, it's an emergency! His Majesty summoned you!"
"Alright alright. I'll be there in a minute."
He turned his body back to me
"Sorry about the rakes my assistant is making. But it seems like I have to take my leave."
"Go, I'll be fine. it's not like I'm going anywhere anyway." I say assuring him.
He smiles then leans forwards.
I feel his lips against my forehead.
"Ah!" I reacted
"Good by my fiancee." He says as he walks away.
Luke was frowning the whole time for some reason.
But Edgar has not changed.
Luke and I now are alone. Agrh...
this is awkward...I mean i've been notified about the kiss he gave me....but...
"So.....You really can't get out of bed for a month huh." me says with a smirk
"Yeah...also, keep smirking and I'll make sure you'll end up the same."
he put his hand up in a surrendering sign.
"So...about after I transformed...I heard you...." I start saying
"Yeah...erm...it was the only thing I could think of, don't be mad ok?"
"I'm not mad...I mean of all things though." for real, there are so many options he could've chosen from.
"Yeah...it was the first thing that came to mind when the situation happened."
"I do not know how your brain works" I giggle
"It a genius way."
"Gosh. Oh, how did Selina take the news though."
I'm asking...because I'm kinda curious...but the question is also killing me
"Oh...er...we broke up.."
Hm?!
"Huh? Why? I mean you looked like you liked her considering the fights you picked with me because of her."
"It just wasn't working...I didn't like her in that way in the first place."
"Then why did you ask her out?"
"I didn't, she did, I said yes because....I thought it could push my mind away from something."
"Wow, who knew you were such a player" I said quietly while laughing
"Oi. You know what Im saying."
"Sure sure." I say not convinced.
I'm secretly happy the 2 broke up. I mean...yeah. You guys know what I mean. Hehe.
"Well, I'll leave you to rest." He says as he starts walking off.
"Okay."
he started walking out the door but then turns around and says something shocking to me.
"The kiss was kinda nice Jose."
My face turned hot.
"Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-You IDIOT!" I threw a pillow at him and he dodges.
What was that? He really knows how to get to me. Geez.
***(A month later)***
A month passed and I'm finally allowed to train and use my magic AND get off this damn bed. I think I have a trauma for beds.
It's been about a week and I've been training like crazy because of the long rest I've had. during this time, mother also trained me to control my fox power. Its god damn hard.
Today though, when I was training in the morning, Jaime came running to me.
"Milady Milady! why are you out here when you should get ready!?"
"Get ready for what?"
"The celebratory party in the palace for the war!"
"Wasn't that when I was unconscious?"
"The king held it off just for you."
"Well, isn't he nice." I'm being sarcastic here. If he's nice he wouldn't have forced a marriage on my and Edgar.
"Milady let's go! you're a big asset to the war! We gotta get you ready!"
Jaime pulls me inside, and I'm secretly crying. I rather stay in bed then get Jaime to dress me for an important occasion 😭😭
Ok, I got a dress....Why does it make me seem so...old. I mean don't get me wrong, it's beautiful, but the colour and style doesn't suit my age. I'm 16..not 26. The shoes I'm actually satisfied with....the make up is light, I like it. but the hair.... is it me or is it too much. I mean it's pretty but I think it looks too....hard working.
Oh well.
We entered the palace and I see all these people that were with me in the war and I feel a sudden rush of being proud. We won together...it felt nice. e joined in the fun and partied to our hearts intent.
I swear though, Selina stood in the corner watching me...it's creepy. It's not my fault if you're not liked by anyone.

though my 1st and 2nd years at the academy were not normal, My 3rd year sure was.
That's right baby, I'm a third year now. And so far I'm enjoying it...No bitches, no fights, no wars..just a normal school year.
The guys graduated so they are off to doing more with their lives.
Edgar is having his royal training to be the king
Alex and Luke are both studying for the position of Duke. Luke is studying harder and has been training non stop competing with his brother. Alex seems more relaxed, then again, father is here so what's the rush.
And finally, Lance is now training to be a higher ranked royal knight.
See? Everyone's happy. This year is going to be fine.
