my star shiens brightly
and i say to her nightly
that she hodls the love that i have in me
and she holds it very tightly
my heart yearns
i'd sacrafice my jewls and pearls
to bring her back where she belongs
each time i look at her my midn swirls
the ngiht dances in her ebony hair
she walks with such grace and a beautiful flair
her emerald eyes gleam so bright
it is impossible for me not to stare

what iw ould not give for us to touch palms
my star who shines ever so bright
i know that i will see you tonight
if not on land then in my dreams
