Dio the invader part 1
After the eventful meal leaving an visibly shocked Jonathan you decided it would be time to get to know your new student better. However Jonathan excused himself to his room, not wanting to face you, leaving you more than confused behind.
Still it was the first day and your job is going to officially start tomorrow, so it did not bother you too much. You went to the library like you planned before taking large strides while making your way through the many bookshelves. The majority of your childhood you spent your time reading, taking in an incredible large of information. You were fascinated with books; you always loose track of time. Like you did now, completely entranced you opened an old encyclopedia about the history of the British noble houses throughout generations. Holding up a long time at the L/N's.
Your eyes felt heavy after hours of reading, you yawned and looked at your beloved pocket watch shocked to find out you have been reading till the middle of the night! Time really flies when you are occupied. You lie the encyclopedia to the side, having finished it already.
Stretching, you start to put it back on the shelf and made your way back to your private quarters. You wanted to be well rested after all for tomorrow since your other student would arrive in the afternoon; you planned to follow around Jonathan.
As you entered your room you put on your night dress and let yourself fall onto the soft bed, immediately started to close your eyes in exhaustion, drifting off into a dreamless sleep.
You woke up to the sounds of chirping birds, eyes fluttering open you groaned. I hate birds! So noisy! You cursed under your breath since they disturbed your precious sleep. Still you knew better than to fall asleep.
Combing through your brown hair, putting on an azure colored suit this time paired with a white undershirt and silver pocket watch you finally made your way down to the dining room, seeing the Joestar family waiting for you patiently.
"You never fail to amaze me Y/N!" George greeted you calmly "8o'clock sharp, not even one second later you always attend breakfast. You have not changed at all." He laughed.
"Oh really, I was not aware..."you trail of, making your way to sir to George's left.
Jonathan quickly looked away blushing, sipping his morning tea in a hurry and standing right up after finishing, trying to run away:"Excuse me!"
"Oh, no! Jonathan, not this time. Wait a minute!" You shouted grapping a small pastry shoving it fully into your mouth, immediately starting to choke on it. You cough loudly...
"Y/N are you alright?!" George shouted standing up in panic. Obviously you could not reply, taking his full tea cup, emptying it in one go.
Finally you shouted: "I survived!"
- And you were met with silence.
"But those pastries are amazing! Can I take them with me?" you asked George, who only stayed quiet, a shadow casted on his face. "I take that as a yes." You smirked, taking the plate with you out of the room. Jonathan still speechless as you popped out from behind the door:"Jonathan where are we headed?"
"HUH?!" dumbstruck he looked over to his father who only shrugged his shoulders in defeat. He got a déjà-vu from his childhood, recalling the first day as you became his personal tutor. You pulled the same treatment with him as you were doing now with his poor son Jonathan. Jonathan was still unable to fully comprehend what was happening. He got dragged out of the dining room and the doors slammed shut.
You both ended up talking during walking Danny.
"So you are twelve years old, Jonathan, correct?"You started your conversation interested in getting to know more about the young gentleman.
"Yes, that is right, I was born April4, 1868." He answered silently not used to talk to you yet and you tried your hardest to make him comfortable around you."You were my father's tutor, weren't you?"
Surprised you nodded your head: "Yes, I was. Why though?"
"Well I was wondering how my father was like when he was my age?" he scratched his neck nervously, a habit of him. You laughed at his adorableness.
"He was just like you from what I can see. A tad bit clumsy, terrible manners but a kind boy with a great heart and strong moral compass." Jonathan's eyes sparkled in excitement listening to your every word. "But do not tell him that, I get kicked out of the estate for sure."You joked and slapped his back a bit too hard, making him bend over and grunt in pain."Ups, I'm sorry."
Afterwards you both chatted more freely, laughing and joking around like old friends. You always had a way to find a way into anybodies heart.
You then returned for lunch which was as always to your satisfaction. Jonathan again forgot his manners and got scolded by his father again, looking nervously in your direction but was surprised that you ignored it, smiling in delight at you food.
After the meal you both decided to continue your earlier conversation, going out for another walk. Time passed as you distanced yourself more from the manor. Then you heard a girl crying, looking around you see Jonathan running into her direction jumping onto the ruins of a small white stone wall, ready to safe her from two older boys who bullied the poor girl making her cry.
Not a second later you followed after him, enraged. You hear Jonathan shouting at the bullies:"Enough return her doll!"
"And who the hell are you? Erina's friend?" they mocked him. So her name is Erina, a fitting name for a cute girl like her. It suits her well.
"I do not know her, but I have a reason to fight you" Jonathan exclaimed bravely as he sprinted to the bully with dirty blond and curly hair and dark blue top hat, ramming into his stomach punching him, however the bully did not seem to be fazed at all. So Jonathan is a weakling, you noted down, shaking your head in disappointment.
"Bastard! Fighting to impress the girl, eh?!" the bully taunted Jonathan's efforts. You calmly made your way to the girl, Erina, observing the situation unfold. The bully Jonathan was ambushing raised both of his hands slamming them down at Jonathan's neck, creating a huge impact, knocking Jonathan down.
The other, fat with black hair and brown cap now approaches Jonathan: "Huh? He is a total pushover!" he said while looking down at him, smug look on his repulsing face as the other laughed satisfied.
"How embarrassing! Now our brave knight needs saving!" he exclaimed.
Jonathan simply took out his handkerchief his name imbedded into it to wipe the blood from his face.
"Looks like he is the Joestar kid after all!" the bully blurted out. You only stood there behind the blonde girl who wore a bright blue dress and put your hands onto her shoulders. She flinched at the touch whipping her head around, blue eyes meeting golden ones. You tilted her chin up as you comforted her that everything is going to turn out alright.
Moving in front of her, she hid behind your back.
"That one I cannot stand is a rich kid." One of them said pointing their finger at Jonathan rudely. Wow envious much? "Little snot!" they insulted him, kicking him to keep him on the ground. "Try this one for your size."
That was where you snapped, you walked up to them, grabbed the front of their shirts pulling them close to lift them up to let them fall to the ground pushing both of their faces mercilessly. Both had a broken nose bruises and bleeding lips. Whimpering they begged you to stop, but you did not listen blinded by your rage. You kneeled the fat one in his abandonments, making him throw up and you scrunched up your nose in disgust. He held onto his stomach shaking badly. You move on to the other, gaze hard face stoic.
"Hey, what is wrong with you guys, His friends or what?" he panicked backing up from you but ended up tripping over his own feet, twisting one angle.
"I would consider him my friend. However that does not matter, doe it now? You are despicable, a shame to your family, picking on a girl making her cry. I am furious no gentleman could have embarrassed himself more than you did. You enjoy stomping down on people who already at the ground to try to make you feel better. I am furious, your mother taught you better than this! She does not deserve such a disrespectful son. I am sorry for her. Now take your friend and go out of my sight. Next time I hear or see you doing such dishonorable acts I will show no mercy!" You leaked out a menacing aura making him shiver in fear as he took his partner and ran off as fast as they could.
You slowly turned around to see Jonathan trying to stand up and Erina rushing to his aid with a concerned expression adoring her face: "Are You alright?-"she started however Jonathan cut her off: "Just leave me alone! Scram! I did not take a beating to be thanked by you, so stop it! I want to be a true gentleman. You were a lady in distress. A true gentleman must be courageous and fight even if he knows victory is impossible." He stated getting up and fixing his clothes, dusting them off. "One day though I will be strong enough to win, without needing help of Y/N's help!"
He turned around heading back to the mansion while you just stood there speechless. Jonathan had truly grown into a fine teenager you thought happily as you picked up Erina's doll carefully. You walk towards her giving back her precious doll and started to pet her head gently: "Are you alright, miss?"
"Yes I am, thank you Sir." She mumbled embarrassed as you treated her like a small child, putting a bit with pink dusted cheeks. "May I know your name?" She gathered enough courage to ask.
" Just call me Y/N, Y/N L/N. I am Jonathan's tutor, it was a pleasure meeting you Erina. But I am afraid I have to go, Jonathan did not wait for me. If you have any problems in the future do not hesitate to contact me."You smiled at her. "We Ladies have to help each other out after all."
You said confidently before running after your student: "Jonathan you traitor, do not leave me behind!!" you cried out desperately leaving a flustered Erina. He is a woman?!
When you finally reached Jonathan you were panting:"Couldn't you just wait for me?" you asked as you were nearing the Joestar estate.
"Lady Y/N?" Jonathan timidly asked looking to the side: "Thank you for helping me out earlier. However I did not want you to back me up earlier at the same time. I am a man and being protected by a woman hurts my pride even if it is you Y/N." he mumbled.
"Please, Jonathan!!! This humble lady, in short I saved your ass back there. There was no telling how far those guys would have gone, deem yourself happy to not be injured by the little stunt you pulled! And by God, stop with the sexist comments already! You should be god damn grateful, not complaining about being saved by a woman. I am so going to strip you of your so called pride and make you to a true gentleman! Understood!?" you barked at him, being fierce pulling Jonathan close having an intense stare down, like the time you were introduced to each other your brows furrowed as he gulped and looked away, ashamed.
You turned back facing the Joestar estate: "Let's go. We do not want to miss Dio Brando's arrival, do we?"
As you arrived at the Joestar mansion a black carriage arrived, and you felt like something bad is going to get down soon, and your guts were always always right.
Suddenly the carriage door slams open; a suitcase was thrown out of the carriage, landing on the ground with a loud thump. And then a teenager jumped out of the carriage, landing elegantly on the ground and stood up facing Jonathan, completely ignoring you. Wtf?! What is up with all you and all the grand entrances, but you could not complain since you were doing it too......yeah.
He had wavy blond hair and wore a dark blue suit and combat boots, but most strikingly feature was the way he held himself. It screamed "I am number one" or "Bow down" something about those lines. You disliked him already... Good grief.
Who is he? Jonathan thought before realizing it had to be the one and only Dio Brando. He walked forward a smile gracing his lips."Dio Brando, I presume?"
"And you must be Jonathan Joestar." He replied, his voice smooth and charismatic.
""Everybody calls me Jojo, a pleasure to make your acquaintance."
Wait everybody calls him Jojo. What about you, you mentally freaked out glaring holes in Jonathan's back. You heard barks as Danny rn up to Jonathan to welcome him back. How cute!
"Danny!" Jonathan shouted happily hunching down arms spread wide open."See him? That is Danny. He is my dog. Do not worry he won't bite." However Dio narrows his eyes at Danny and you got a bad feeling so you followed Danny ready to act at any moment.
Suddenly Dio moved to kick the dog, but you were faster, holding Danny back grabbing his collar, thankfully the kick only grazed Danny. You shuddered at the thought if Danny would have fallen victim to the full force of the attack.
"What was that for?" Jonathan asked enraged "You are going to pay for this!" As if to prove his point he raises both of his arms closing his hands into fists, so does Dio.
So this is the Joestar heir, Dio thought, getting ready to fight. The coddled brat! I will psychologically overwhelm him to become the heir of the Joestar estate!
He shifted his eyes over to you but had to concentrate on Jonathan for now, even if you were able to read his attack you had to wait.
"What is the matter?" George Joestar asked, appearing at the front door to greet Dio Brando however he did not expect such a commotion. Bothe boys immediately stopped, looking up at the head of the Joestar family. "What is all the commotion about?" he inquired.
"My apologies, sir. The dog attacked me. It was a reflex. Thankfully the kind sir here-"he gestured to you smirking "-held him back from reaching me."
Oh I really hate him. You gritted your teeth you are so going to get back at him for that, maybe you think about something later...

"Welcome Dio" Georges said. You were now in the entry hall in front of the stairways. Even the staff was assembled standing at the side lines.
"You are part of our family now „George continued "Everyone, I owe my life to this boy's father. Treat him as you would treat Jojo."
Now he is starting with calling his son Jojo too. You really felt left out now, pouting in the corner.
"Yes, my lord!" The staff bowed down.
"Dio this is your home now. You will live as my son, Jojo, does."George finished his announcement.
"Thank you for your generosity, Sir Joestar." Dio replied and bowed down. You only rolled your eyes; he is a good actor, which is for sure.
"Jojo also has lost his mother and you are both of the same age. You will be good friends, I expect." George said warmly.
I nearly snorted, thinking back, only a few minutes earlier they were ready to rip each other's throat out, but you stayed professional and walk up to Jonathan standing in front of Dio looking down at him.
"Jojo you must forget what happened with Danny, understand. Y/N made sure he is alright, he did not even get directly hit thanks to her outstanding reflexes."
"Yes, father" Jonathan replied "I understand. A similar carnie onslaught would certainly frighten me as well." However I do wish he apologized Jonathan added in his mind. Like you could read minds you spoke up for the first time taking the spotlight:"Dio, since you are going to be a part of the Joestar household I do wish you would properly apologize for hurting Jonathan's dog, don't you agree Dio?" You hold eye contact with him trying to read him.
Dio's eyes widen as he checked you out on closer inspection and without distraction you were by far the most beautiful person he had ever seen, he had to give you that, those golden eyes made him uncomfortable his composure slightly wavering but he caught a hold of him fast.
"Of course, I guess it slipped my mind to properly apologize for hurting your...pet Jonathan." He apologized to Jonathan but maintained eye contact with you.
The George Joestar clapped his hands breaking the awkward moment: "Oh Dio, before I forget this is Lady Y/N L/N she is going to be your and Jonathan's tutor starting today, I hope you get along well, she is a dear friend of mine and deserves respect."
"I am certain that I am going to throughout enjoy my time in her presence," Dio answered slyly, George somehow did not notice the suggestive undertone it hold, but you and Jonathan did, making you cringe.
Dio was sure to mess with you but little did he know that you are more that what is visible to the eye....
He would regret his words soon; you will make sure of it.
