We walked back to the house. All of the kids were still outside playing. I heard a crash in the distance. I felt my heart pounding fast. I looked up to see a bomb plummeting to where I was standing. I screamed and fell on the ground. I thought I was dead. I heard laughing. "What is so funny?" I asked. "That happens every day at 11:59. It's a time loop so, you can't die from that bomb." Said Jacob. "Don't be scared. That happened to me the first time I came here as well."
I could hear someone yelling. I looked over to see Enoch screaming at the children, even the older ones, who were laughing at me. "Ooh, Enoch has got a girlfriend!" Emma teased. "I do not!" He yelled. "Alright then." She said unconvinced.
I slept on the floor in the children's room. I did not mind. I had been sleeping on floors for a while.
