today's finally the day of the trip! I felt so excited, mostly because of catra.
I can use this trip to show off how close catra and I are to adora so she'll somewhat back off. she's too different, she doesn't understand her like I do..
I will confess to catra on this trip!

"shit I'm late!" I say
I woke up and realised catra had already left! how could she leave me, I was saddened for a second but I pushed the thought at the back of my mind and got ready.
I grab my suitcase and backpack and left to the lobby where everyone was waiting.
"oh she's here!" perfuma says happily
"jeez, finally adora" says mermista after
"It's not my fault, if only catra woke me up" I say glaring at her
"I'm not your alarm clock princess" catra says folding her arms putting an emphasis on princess
everyone went silent and stared at us with widened eyes.
"did you- did you just call adora princess?" bow asks pointing to me
"I heard it too!" says glimmer excitedly
"no fucking way..." mermista says slapping a hand over her mouth
"It's nothing like that!" catra and I both say in unison
"just.. an inside joke, that's all" I say hoping they stop staring.
catra looks away rubbing her arm while I await for an answer.
"anyways we should get going!" scorpia says
their attention immediately leaving us, I sigh in relief, I hate awkwardness.
"that was on you catra" I whisper
"oh come on? princess isn't even that bad, they are overreacting" she whispers back
"still your fault"
she side eyes me yet still has a little smirk, it was sort of attractive.
she suddenly gets close to me and puts her lips near my ears, I flinch and blush because of how sensitive my ears were.
"I bet you enjoy it, princess" she whispers her lips just barely touching my ears.
I jump back covering my ears and she laughs.
"just kidding blondie! youre so easy to play with" she laughs
that's right, she was just playing. I know catras a player who probably has slept with a lot of people.
I can't believe I was so flustered by her fake words, but then again we have gone further.
what even was our relationship? fuck buddies but more like making out buddies because we never reached the fuck point? good job adora.
I was conflicted and confused.
scorpia suddenly jumps in.
"what are you two talking about?" she asks
"scorpia, personal space" she says
"oh right.. sorry!" scorpia backs off
personal space? she's talking about personal space after she got that close to me? that's just stupid.
we head to the airport where we go through the entire process and finally board the plane.
I sit next to perfuma whos sitting on the window side and in the seats next to us is catra and scorpia with scorpia on the window side.
bow glimmer and mermista we're together.
I couldn't help but keep glancing over to catra while she kept glancing over to me ever so often, only for a split second though.
all her attention was on scorpia anyways through the entire plane ride.
"you okay adora?" perfuma asks
"y-yeah! I'm just not a big fan of plane rides.." I reply
"aww! adora! but you're so strong so you seem to be brave too" she says while clinging onto my arm
I couldn't help but blush at her.
she stayed clinging onto my arm as she fell asleep.
I turn to see catra watching us but she turns her head away and so do I.
I decide to just look at the view of the clouds from outside. I must have been really intrigued by it because I hadn't noticed how everyone was asleep, I was wide awake.
I had to stretch a little so I went to the bathroom but as I got out of my seat I notice catra wasn't there. I figured to ask scorpia where she went but she was fast asleep with catras jacket on top of her, it had reminded me of when catra lent me her jacket and for some reason that made me anxious.
adora, you don't like her! I think to myself
of course I don't! replying to myself
I walk to the bathroom but my eye was caught by the familiar figure standing near a window.
catra! what's she doing?
I hide when I notice she's on the phone?! well that's definitely not allowed.
"so the shipment of the drugs has finally arrived?"
"okay, I'll meet you when I get off"
is all I hear her say and did she say drugs?!
I realise it was probably medical related. I don't think catra could ever do business related to anything like that no matter how much of a delinquent she is.
right?
"hey catra"
she flinches and slowly turns her head.
"a-adora, is there something wrong?"
"not really, I noticed how you were here when I went to go the bathroom"
"I thought you were asleep"
"I can't seem to fall asleep on planes" I reply looking out the window
"what are you doing here?" I ask
"just... thinking" is all she says
I could feel somewhat of a unknown tension between us.
"hey adora"
"hm?"
"would you still be friends with me no matter how bad of a person I was?" she suddenly asks, I had to take a few seconds to process the question.
"why are you asking?"
"because, I trust you, I don't know why, I just do"
"hey, I trust you too" I say while side bumping her
"ow!" she playfully pushes me.
"hahaha!"
a split second of silence passes.
"I would.. stay friends with you"
"really?"
"If you're good to me, that's enough I think"
her heterochromia eyes widen.
"we should, head back" she says before walking away with her head down, I notice how red her ears are.
did I say something wrong?
I head back to my seat where perfuma clings back onto my arm.
"hello crew, we will be landing in 20 minutes, thank you"
the ride felt somewhat slow.
