Nationals are coming up, and Hinata hasn't slept in almost a week. After what the Shiritorizawa coach told him, he started to think about it. He really is nothing without Kageyama. Without Kageyama, Hinata is benched. Suga would be setting, and with Suga, he's just a spiker, who's bad. Whenever Hinata tries to sleep, he only thinks about those things. After the third night of not sleeping, Hinata just gave up.
Hinata made sure not to spend the night at Kageyama's cause he knows Kageyama would force him to sleep, and then Hinata would have a nightmare, and then Kageyama would know. Hinata did not want that.
Kageyama was getting worried. Hinata at least spends the night at his house once a week, and the week was almost over. He also noticed how tired Hinata looked during the school days, so he knew something was up.

Hinata sighs as he looks at the time. "No sleep, again," Hinata sighs and gets out of bed. He rubs his eyes and soon gets ready for the day.
When Hinata leaves his house, he takes his time getting to school. It was so tiring getting there on his bike. When Hinata gets to where he and Kageyama meet up, he sighs when he sees Kageyama. He quickly puts on a smile and waves. "Hey Yama," Hinata smiles.
"Hi," Kageyama says. Hinata gets off his bike and the two walk towards the school. "You look tired," Kageyama says.
"Oh yeah, Natsu kept me up last night," Hinata chuckles.
"Oh, are you gonna need to sit out of practice?" Kageyama asks.
"No, why would I? I've pulled all-nighters before school before; I should be fine," Hinata says. Kageyama just rolls his eyes, and the two keep walking.

During practice, Hinata's jumps weren't as high as normal. However, no one really cared since they knew Hinata has to ride his bike all the to school. Kageyama ignored as well, knowing if the same thing happens in the next practice, he'll bring it up.
"Kageyama," Hinata smiles as the two leave the clubroom. He grabs Kageyama's hand and smiles. Kageyama smiles back but noticed the bags under Hinata's eyes.
"You should sleep during lunch," Kageyama says.
"Why would I do that?" Hinata asks.
"You just look really tired," Kageyama says.
"I'm fine," Hinata says. "I gotta get to class, Yama," Hinata says before running off. Kageyama watches Hinata and sighs before he walks to his own classroom.

Hinata groans as he walks out of his classroom during lunch. Usually, he felt dead at this time, but he would just have to get through it like he has been doing. He walks up to where Kageyama and him have been meeting for lunch; he smiles when he sees Kageyama. "Hi Yama," Hinata smiles before kissing Kageyama's cheek.
Kageyama smiles, and he looks at Hinata. "You look even more tired than this morning. Are you sure you don't need a nap?" Kageyama asks.
"Yeah, Kageyama, I'm fine," Hinata says before he leans his head on Kageyama's shoulder. "You don't need to worry," Hinata lies.
Kageyama sighs and soon starts to eat his lunch. "You gonna spend the night tonight?" Kageyama asks.
"I have to watch Natsu again, I can't," Hinata pouts.
"I could always come over and watch her with you," Kageyama smiles.
"No," Hinata says way too quickly. "I-I mean, it's just Natsu has been making me sleep with her each night; I don't want her to steal you from me," Hinata nervously laughs.
"You can just say you don't wanna hang out instead of lying to me," Kageyama grumbles.
"I-I'm not lying," Hinata whines.
"Hinata, I know you, I can tell when you lie," Kageyama smiles. "But instead of lying, tell me the truth," Kageyama sighs. "I'm getting worried you always are looking so tired now," Kageyama says. "I hope your sleeping fine," Kageyama says.
"I am sleeping fine," Hinata lies. "Everything is fine," Hinata smiles. Kageyama sighs again and just ignores the lie Hinata said.
Lunch goes on, and the moment the bell rings, Hinata runs away as fast as he can.

After school practice, Hinata was doing good. He didn't look tired at all, and Kageyama was surprised after what Hinata looked like during the day. Kageyama smiles at this and hopes Hinata was telling the truth about Natsu keeping him up.
Hinata yawns as he walks out of the clubroom with Kageyama. "I can't wait to go home," Hinata smiles.
"You go to sleep the moment you go home," Kageyama says before grabbing Hinata's hand. Hinata just rolls his eyes and sighs.
"I will," Hinata lies, making Kageyama look at him.

Thank the gods the next day was on the weekend; practice was longer on the weekend, but Hinata didn't care; as long as he didn't have to go to school, he was fine.
When Hinata looked at the time the next day, he felt even more dead. He had no idea how he was gonna get through this day. He tried his best to try and sleep during the night, but he failed. He couldn't stop thinking about him being horrible.
Hinata rode his bike to school slower today. He didn't care if he was gonna be late; no one really did. Cause no one cared about him. When Hinata walked into the gym, he smiles and waves at everyone. "Sorry for being late," Hinata says.
"It's fine; you got here just in time though, we're picking teams for a small game," Daichi says. Hinata nods, and he walks over right next to Kageyama. "Captians team, vs. soon to be captain," Daichi smiles, and Ennoshita walks up onto the court with Daichi, "We'll pick first," Daichi smiles. "Suga," Daichi, of course, says.
"Alright, Kageyama and Hinata," Ennoshita says.
"You don't get both," Daichi says.
"They're a pair," Ennoshita says. Daichi nods at this, and Hinata just sighs. Him and Kageyama walk over to Ennoshita, and Hinata looks down, glaring at the floor.
Kageyama and him were always a pair; he knew why. Everyone didn't want just Hinata; they wanted him and Kageyama cause he was nothing without Kageyama. He knew that.

When the game started, Hinata's jumps were kinda bad. A couple of people noticed and asked, so Hinata had to try harder. When his jumps got back to normal, people didn't care to look at him again. Hinata sighs as the game goes on; at one point, he felt like he was about to pass out, but he quickly tried to stop himself. Thankfully it was during a break so Hinata could sit down and drink water.
When the game started again, Hinata swears he started to see things. At one point, he saw a dog and cat chasing each other, and at another point, he swore he saw a bird fly in. Hinata thought he was going crazy, but when he realized he hasn't slept in a week, he realized this was a side effect.
When Hinata goes up to serve, he sighs. He wasn't gonna serve well; he knew that. As Hinata is horrible thoughts, things get blurry again. This time it doesn't go away. He falls straight to the ground and passes out.

Kageyama watches Hinata as he goes up to serve. He notices Hinata swaying a little, and he looks at Hinata weirdly. That weird look went away when Hinata had fallen to the ground. "Shit," Kageyama says before running over to Hinata. The whole team looks at Hinata before they run over; Ukai and Takida soon come after, everyone is clearly worried. "What happened?" Tanaka asks.
"He just passed out," Kageyama grumbles, knowing exactly why.
"Do you know why," Suga asks.
"The dumbass hasn't been sleeping," Kageyama sighs before picking up Hinata. "Is it cool if I take him to my house?" Kageyama asks.
"Yeah," Takeda and Ukai say. Kageyama nods and soon walks out of the gym.

Hinata woke up slowly in a comfy bed. In utter confusion, Hinata looks around, and his eyes go wide. "How the hell," Hinata says.
"I brought you to my house," Kageyama says while walking into the room. This made Hinata jump, of course, and he looks at Kageyama. "You just passed out," Kageyama sighs. "You should have been sleeping at night, Hinata.
Hinata looks down at his hands, and he sighs. "S-Sorry," Hinata mumbles.
"Why aren't you sleeping? Please tell me," Kageyama says before sitting on the bed next to Hinata.
"I-It's nothing," Hinata mumbles.
"If it's keeping you awake, then it's something," Kageyama sighs.
Hinata plays with his hands a little and sighs. "It's just, without you, I'm nothing, Kageyama, I'm no good at volleyball," Hinata says.
"What the hell, no, your not," Kageyama says.
"I am; why would so many people tell me it," Hinata says tears coming to his eyes.
"Hinata, you are good at volleyball, you've been playing for how long now, not even a year, and you're already so good, so much better than I was," Kageyama smiles. "Your not nothing without me, your good at spiking, and your receives are getting better; you just need practice," Kageyama smiles.
Hinata looks at him before looking away, tears falling down his face faster. "You don't have to lie," Hinata mumbles.
"I'm not lying," Kageyama says.
"You are," Hinata says.
Kageyama sighs before he grabs Hinata's face and makes him look at him. "You are a good volleyball player without me Hinata, people have told you this because they are assholes; they're trying to get under your skin," Kageyama says. "You're not as good as someone like me, but Hinata, you great for how long ago you started," Kageyama smiles while wiping a tear away from Hinata's cheek. "I know you'll get so much better in the future," Kageyama says.
Hinata smiles a little and soon hugs Kageyama. "Thank you, Kageyama," Hinata cries into Kageyama's shoulder.
Kageyama smiles at this and rubs Hinata's back. "Don't let people say shit to you like that," Kageyama mumbles before kissing Hinata's head. "Just give it time; I know by next year you'll be way better," Kageyama smiles.
Hinata smiles, and he looks at Kageyama while wiping his tears away. "I love you," Hinata smiles before kissing Kageyama. When Hinata pulled away, he yawned, and Kageyama chuckles.
"You should get some sleep," Kageyama says.
"Cuddle me," Hinata smiles, making Kageyama roll his eyes. He lays down on the bed and holds Hinata close. "Night night," Hinata mumbles before falling asleep again.

The next day when Hinata showed up to practice, everyone was worried about him at first. But after those first ten minutes, Hinata got a lecture from Takeda about sleep, and then he got one from Daichi, and then one from Suga. Suga's was terrifying.
When practice went on, Kageyama knew his Hinata was back. He smiles, knowing Hinata hopefully won't try this again after what Suga had said.
Ok, so ah. Sorry for being gone. I need a break. I'm gonna try and make more, but I have to go back in person to school, so I will be even more busier.
Ah, I'm sorry if I don't have some requests done. I just need to be motivated to write something about a ship. I will try my best to slowly get anything done.
