Taehyung had to sit down feeling overwhelmed with all sorts of emotions, on one hand: he couldn't help but be said, although he truly loathed that man he was still his father and there were moments he wasn't such a monster back before Taehyung started liking boys, but on the other hand he was overjoyed, he could finally go home and see jungkook, his kookie and now there was nothing stopping him, sure he was exiting to see the others but nothing compared to his excitement to see the younger
"Wha- what- I mean how?"
"He died in his sleep, he's had cancer for quite some time now and I'm shocked he didn't die sooner... anyway next week is the funeral to celebrate his death blah blah blah but you do need to come home for the funeral since he left a will and stuff I haven't really been listening to what the people have been saying I'm just happy he's finally gone and that's all I needed to tell you so goodbye"
"Oh- wel- uh- g-goodbye" the woman then hung up
Taehyung tried to think but everything was so confusing, was he supposed to cry? He'd cry more if he ever was to see that man again, but it just felt wrong, inhumane even to celebrate and be happy about ones death even if he had it coming
In seconds Taehyung then jumped up and bursted our the bedroom and into the living room
"JUNGHYUN!!!" He screamed in the youngers ear making him wake up looking unbelievably angry
"What the fuck was that for I could've gone death you dumbass"
"I can go home"
"Wait..." the younger then stood up "what"
"I get to go home" Taehyung started smiling, feeling like he was going to cry for a whole bunch of reasons
Junghyun jumped up and hugged the older, this meant he would be leaving him but he was so genuinely happy for his Hyung
"You'll get to see your boyfriend" the brunette said pulling away from the hug
"I'll get to see jungkook!" The younger then froze upon the name
"J-jungkook?" He asked thinking he misheard
"That's the boy back home, I swear I told you his name"
"This is the first I'm hearing of it" the younger then sat down, excitement for the older fading
"It's amazing timing really because his birthdays in like 4 days"
Now looking back on everything Taehyung told junghyun it just made sense and he felt stupid for not realising sooner
"I know this is going to sound really fucking weird but..." junghyun stood back up and put his hands on taehyungs shoulders "can I come with you"
"I mean clearly you can I can't stop you but why" Taehyung laughed
"I haven't been to Korea in years and I feel like it's time I should go home"
Taehyungs eyes lit up, he didn't have to leave the person whos kept him sane for months
"I'm gonna call dae, see when I can come home"

The 30th
Taehyung couldn't leave until the 31st and when he would get home it would be the 1st... jungkooks birthday
Immediately the day after Taehyung found out that he could go home the two boys packed all their bags and were ready to leave but taehyung had one more thing to do
So today he went out shopping hoping to surprise jungkook with a gift for his birthday and junghyun also tagged along since they both quit their jobs that morning
As Taehyung was walking through the mall he was holding onto his necklace with a tight grasp trying to thing of what he could get the younger
To his surprise junghyun was actually amazing at helping, though there was some things he was skeptical about getting jungkook but junghyun assured the older to trust him
