DAVINA, RON AND HERMIONE sat on the stairs as Davina comforted Ron and Hermione tried her best to comfort the both of them, but nothing was working so they sat in silence.
Footsteps could be heard from behind them, Hermione standing when she saw Harry.
"Where have you been?"
"We thought you went to the forest," Ron spoke.
"I'm going there now," Harry told them before Hermione grabbed his arm. "Are you mad? No," Ron said before Hermione's grip became loose and Harry started to walk away again.
"You can't give yourself up to him," Ron said as they began to walk closer to him. "What is it, Harry? What is it you know?"
"There's a reason I can hear them, the Horcruxes. I think I've known for a while, and I think you have too," Harry explained before tears dropped from Hermione's eyes.
"I'll go with you," she sobbed. "No, kill the snake. Kill the snake and then it's just him," He told them before Hermione ran up to him and hugged him, Davina held onto Ron's hand and squeezed it.
Harry looked at the two and smiled, them smiling back as they watched him walk down the stairs to his death.
