"So it's alright." She said calmly. 

"Thank you." He said gratefully.

"You are welcome."

"About the..." He rubbed the back of his head and use his tongue to lick his lower lips, nervously.

"I've got other things to do Demilade..." He looked up when she said that. He was about to say something but she held a hand to stop him. And he did. "But I will wait if that is what you want. This once."

           His lips curled into a small smile. There was something that is keeping Lola. He thoughts. But whatever it was, he was so grateful for it.

"Thank you. You don't know how grateful I am. I will add..." He was cut short by the glare Lola gave him.

"I'm not doing this for you. I am doing it for your mom and grandma." She half lied.

          Although she wants to meet the woman. And she wants to see Demilade mother again because she misses the woman but she was using the opportunity to give Demilade a last chance. If he won't admit anything to her this time around, she is going to move on. This is the only chance she is giving him. And also, she still wants to spend more time with him as crazy as it might sound. She knew if she leaves she will be out of his life forever. Nothing was going to bring them together again except fate.

"And my pay remains the same. I'm not doing this for you to add to my pay. Are we good?"

           Lola hates people bossing her around but she is also bossy. He thought as he tried to suppress his laughter he looked down at his feet and smiled before he looks back up at her. She was still staring at him waiting for his reply.

         He bit his lower lips to stop himself from smiling. She looked adorable and hot with the way she was standing staring at him. She was just like a model in front of a fashion magazine.

"You look cute." He said almost in a whisper.

"What do you say?" Lola asked despite she heard what he said.

"Yes, we are clear. I won't rub my money on you again." He said without repeating what he said the first time.

           She felt quite disappointed that he didn't repeat what he said earlier but at least she got one compliment from him.

"And thank you for doing this for my mom." He appreciated.

          She waved it off. "It's fine. She is like a mother to me. So don't think it is about you." Demilade gave a curt nod. "But I have a condition."

         He raised a brow at her in question.

"I will be able to leave the house to go see my family and do my other business while the two weeks are on. I have a life too."

          He didn't bother to give it much thought. He agreed because he wanted to let her know he wasn't keeping her prisoner and he was ready to do whatever to please her.

"Okay. You are free." He agreed.

         Lola smirked. "Thank you."

"It's nothing." He said.

"When will they be coming?" Lola asked about his family.

"Tomorrow." He retorted. "And there is one more thing Lola." He looked her in the eyes. "If my grandmother is going to believe... Our relationship is real, we have to pretend a little bit better. She is smarter than my mother. She notices anything and everything. So please..."

"I understand. I will try." She assured him.

"Thanks." He appreciated. "We will see at dinner." And he turned around to leave.

"Are you going to work tomorrow?" Her question makes him stop in his track. He turned back to look at her. And then nodded.

"Yes. Don't worry, I will be back on time before they arrive." She nodded without saying anything. He could tell there was more. It was like she is holding back from asking something.
"Is there anything you want to ask?" He studied her face but she gave away no emotion.

"No, nothing. Thanks." She said and look away.

         He don't know why she asked that but he wished she had opened up since she didn't, he nodded and left the room.

Despite all the shakara, she still agrees to stay 😏😏😏😏😏. Someone is falling in love. 😂 😂 😂
