Me and Kokichi then went to a fast food place picking up food before waiting on a bench for our friends to come pick us up.

The carnival was closing in a few days as Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas was now over which meant that during this time of year the carnival went away.
"So, what exactly are we doing with your friends?" He asked. "I'm not sure yet, I think just hang out. I wanna get to know them more." I said answering him. "Ah, okay." He said. He was fidgeting, he seemed nervous? I took his hands putting my food down onto the bench next to me. "Are you okay?" I asked, I didn't usually like taking control but if I left it to Kokichi we'd get no where.
He looked up at me and I saw as his face turn red. "Y-Yeah.." He mumbled his eyes trailing off. "These people are nice, Maki helped me get help when Miu was.. Hurting y-you." I said stumbling upon my words. He looked over to me confused. "Hm?" He tilted his head. "I always annoy her in class, that's quite unexpected." He said leaning back on the bench.
"I mean, if I saw someone I hate getting beat up I'd stop it." I said without thinking. "N-Not that she hates you!" I quickly came back to my senses, he then laughed. "It's alright, she probably does. I'm annoying I know. But, I'll try and not be.." He said looking as though he wouldn't actually go through with what he was saying.
Suddenly a car pulled up. Maki then walked out as well as Kaito. "Hey Himiko! And.. Kokichi.." Kaito said suddenly sounding less excited. Did they have a bad past with each other? They were staring each other down. Wait, actually Maki was doing the same. "Kaede said we're going to her house." Maki mumbled turning to me. "Yeah, and we're gonna watch a movie.. Talk.. Eat s'mores.. Oh! And Hot chocolate too! Right babe- "H-Huh!?" "I m-meant Maki roll!" Kaito yelled trying not to embarrass Maki.

It was already too late for that though. She then hit him on the head and led us to the back seats of her car. "Here you two go in here." She pointed.
Kaito was rubbing his head getting into the car with a hurt expression. Me and Kokichi sighed as it was obvious the two were dating. We waited there staring at each other in silence. "So, are you two close?" Kaito asked turning to us as Maki drove. "O-Oh, w-well.." I looked to Kaito then back at Kokichi nervous.
"We're um.." I mumbled. "We're dating." Kokichi finished my sentence with a stern voice looking out the window crossing his arms. "Right!" I yelled. "Dating?" Maki mumbled confused. "Wait, really? You two? I mean it makes sense, two short people can comfort each other's shortness I guess." Kaito explained.
"I'm not that short!" Kokichi said staring Kaito down. "Sorry to break it to you but you are." Kaito said turning back around. I sighed stressed. Finally, Maki drove into Kaede's neighbourhood. She parked in her driveway and we all got out.
