I sighed walking back into the gym and then out of the gym walking towards the dorm building when I saw a figure standing over the school's fountain. They were reaching into the fountain. As I got closer I could see exactly who it was.

"Kokichi..?" I mumbled confused. He looked over to me and smiled. "Hey witch!" He said pulling his hands from the fountain. "What are you doing?" I asked ignoring his subtle jabs. "Some bitch threw my phone into the fountain so I'm getting it." He said his face now straightened.
He showed me the damaged phone and then snickered to himself. "Who did that?" I asked annoyed. "What does it matter.." He said looking to the ground smiling. I already had an idea of who it was and I was getting pissed. "You know, the world's been really shitty lately hasn't it Himiko?" He asked looking up at me.

Even though he was smiling I couldn't help but feel uneasy. His voice sounded bitter. He bit through his teeth just to speak. His eyes were wide open.
"Are you feeling alright Kokichi?" I asked genuinely worried. He looked down and his face straightened once more. "I'm.." He paused. "Tired.. And confused.." He mumbled. He was opening up to me? I was wide eyed. I thought he'd just answer with some dumb lie but no, he was being serious.
"I feel like an idiot and.. I knew I shouldn't have gotten.. This close." He said looking into my eyes as though what he was saying was directed towards me. "Hey, you're not an idiot. Just show me your true self so I can help you feel better." I said walking closer to him. "Huh- I grabbed his hand and the his shoulder. I started to dance with him but he just kept fumbling and tripping. "Without music?" He asked confused.
"Why not, we can make our own." I said with a smile and started to hum. After that he stopped fumbling and held on tighter to my hand as well as my waist. I felt nervous but.. Also happy. Suddenly his attitude changed again. "You look awfully beautiful tonight little witch." He said. He's been telling me stuff like that lately.. I still couldn't tell if they were lies. I stopped humming. "You really think so?" I asked. "Do you want the truth or a lie?" He asked. "The truth obviously!" I was a bit irritated. I knew he wouldn't change.. What was I-

"I think you're the prettiest girl I've ever seen. Especially tonight." He said with a smile.
"Nyeh- are you.. Flirting with me?" I managed to ask. "What if I was?" He asked. "You're not- "Maybe I am- "No- "Maybeeeee~" After that there was silence. We stare at each other a bit..
Then, "Ahahaha!" We started to laugh letting go of each other. "You know, you're not as bad as you make yourself out to be!" I said laughing. He looked up at me and stopped laughing wide eyed. "Now, I should get going. You said you were tired yourself, I wouldn't want to keep you up." I said with a smile skipping away leaving him speechless.
That wasn't like me at all. I felt so happy but so confused at the same time! I liked this feeling, no loved this feeling. Then I thought as I walked back to my dorm. He couldn't actually be serious.. He was probably just playing with my feelings again.
