-With her gift of light manipulation there has not been a time where Amber has not brought light to any place she was at. Her presence and demeanor seem to brighten up a room to other people as well and at times Amber may look as if she lights up herself.
Little light
-Little light was what Amber's mom would call her. Amber rarely heard her mother call her anything else, even her full name or her other nickname Dana. The nickname refers to Amber's powers, light manipulation.
Am
-It is a shorter version of her name, as with em for Emily, though Amber prefers people not to use it. Her name is not one of the longest she has ever heard and sometimes feels as if there is no reason to use Am instead of Amber. She will usually let it slide though.
Dana
-Dana is what Amber allows her close friends to call her. She remembers her mother calling her this sometimes when she was younger and prefers to keep that memory to the name and so not wanting many people to use it for her.

-Amber's official title at court. While Danan is her second name and the young woman does not use a last name it is still used sometimes. Amber herself does not like to be called by her title and has reminded servants more times then she can count to call her Amber, believing that a title is not needed to earn respect.

Light manipulation/Magic
-Amber's magic allows her to manipulate light in the simplest ways. Turning of lamps, putting them on again or making orbs of warm golden light appear. A lot of what she can do should be no surprise to any witness with common sense. On a more complex note Amber is able to manipulate magic in a way that can make objects ''invisible'' or draw all light to or from a room, either bathing it in darkness or light. Something else Amber is able to do is create light that is burning hot to the touch or might even burn the person who touches it. this does not turn into fire and neither does Amber have any sort of fire magic. At last big bright flashes of light is something Amber has been able to master.
