Dr. Barlow is the name/nickname most commonly used since it is how Aelin is mostly addressed at work. Colleagues that she knows well don't have to call her that and with patients she sometimes makes an exception as well.
Sunshine is the nickname Bailey gave to Aelin because of her cheerful behaviour even when there are difficult patients and moments in the hospital.
Eva is Aelins name and she is only called Eva by her mother. If others do it she will tell them not to as she is not to fond of the name

Tattoos:
A sword on her right lower arm and a sun on her left shoulder. Aelin wants more but waits for a good idea to come to mind.
Languages spoken:
English is her mother tongue and Aelin is fully fluent in English. French was a language Aelin took during medical school since she wanted to learn a second language. She is not very fluent but will be able to have a conversation in French.
Personality:
Aelin is a kind woman. Without reason she won't be mean to someone and she treats others with respect, even if they don't treat her with that, something Aelin finds difficult. She is a stubborn woman as well. As long as it doesn't have anything to do with a patient Aelin likes to do things her way which had gotten her in trouble every now and then. Aelin has the habit to say whatever she wants to say and together with that has strong opinions. She is not afraid to say anything but often tries to read the room and mood first before making certain comments. Aelin is kind and loyal and open minded as well. Especially during her work but to people in general as well. She does not see any reason to be judgemental to people and believes that as long as someone is not harmed or forced with something that it should be fine.
